If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
of course i will choose gold,i will not take risk by convert all my wealth to something that have not certain future,have no certain price and not acceptable in every place,i will not do that
if you just look at the investment in terms of security I think gold always be the right choice. but it's a big problem that will benefit you can earn in that time I would choose bitcoin. you know within a period of 7 years. bitcoin rose more than 1000%, compared with gold ?
Gold wasnt worth zero 7 years ago so an unfair comparison.
Lets see if bitcoin is still around in the next 7 years.
well how much gold roses in the first 7 years since it was discovered? i doubt it was 1000% increase
A bit of a stupid comment, how far you going to go back? Egyptians were using gold 5000 bc and it was in use and valued way before that.
Also dont forget that gold is not only valued in USD.

Brazilian Real up 95%
Russian Ruble up 123%
Indian Rupee up 33%
South African Rand up 101%
well if you want a fair comparison you must compare them from the beginning
not where one has hunders of year behind and the other only 6 years
one was discovered and it the beginning i'm sure there was not enough interest for it, the same for the second, it was created and everyone ignored it at the beginning
theys hare many similarities, that's why i believe bitcoin can somehow reach an astronomical value in the future, like it happened for gold, but it need time
dunno why poeple expect a 100k value or crazy stuff like that in 5-10 years
But definitely bitcoins could be a part of your invest portfolio
