If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I'd say both. Both of them has unique and high values if converted to money. Both of them also are good investment. Both of them is highly priced and can be an instrument to gain a lot of profit. But I am thinking twice because bitcoin is now widely known and could be as great as gold in terms of popularity and more people are engaged to internet so i do think that Bitcoin can surpass gold.

Why having to choose? Diversification is the key, so I keep both and something else on top of these two.
If you only choose one? What would be your choice? This is the case that you do not have the money to invest both bitcoin and gold at the same time.

To be honest I think i rather choose the bitcoin than to gold , remember last year bitcoin surpassed the price of gold and shock the world because the unexpected price. And one of the factors why i stayed in bitcoin because bitcoin volatility price which it can increase or decrease but still , im very optimistic and looking forward. Well maybe in years I guess the bitcoin will totally increase , but we can't say so I just wait and ride the flow.

I believe you should not invest in bitcoin at the moment, can see that the bitcoin market is in crisis and there are signs of collapse, Bitcoin ball is breaking. Therefore, investing in bitcoin at this time is extremely dangerous. I advise you to invest in gold, the wine is showing signs of price increase after many years to keep prices, so these are the great moves of gold, the capital is being rushed to here.

Both to speed up your wealth . And for lifetime investment, right. Yeah, investment is risky too but you need to be strong to achieve what you like to achieve.

I certainly choose Bitcoin. I’m a kind of a man who likes doing everything fast and easily, and gold isn’t as easy to use as a payment.

I would definitely go for bitcoin and not gold, this is because I have know what is package in the blockchain,  it's not just about making use of bitcoin as a means of currency but also knowing the technology on which bitcoin and other crypto currency was built open which is the blockchain technology.  Am much more interested in the innovation rather than choosing the one I can use in making payments

I haven’t made a decision yet, so I consider both ways so far. At the moment I need more information about currency, I suppose.

Gold, hands down.

Bitcoin is for gambling/trading volatility on steroids, not a serious long term store of wealth.
I would choose gold cause there probability for to get rich and get a profit more than holding gold.  Gold is useless and its take so long to increase but holding bitcoin is like gambling as you say and i believe this is a revolution and thats why i wanted to be part of it.

Gold is better than bitcoin. Why? the rise and fall of gold is not too fast or volatile. besides, gold has many peminatnya and almost in the know by the public. in contrast to the very fluctuating bitcoin and not so great the people who know about bitcoin
If I have $ 1 billion then I will put 99.9% to gold and the rest to bitcoin, with invest gold then I do not have to worry about the future of gold because its value will not drop like bitcoin, so that's why gold is better than bitcoin .

How can you say that the value of gold will never drop? In 2011, the price was around $1,800 per oz. That came down to $1,100 per oz in 2017, before making a slight recovery. Gold is not a risk-free asset, as they say. Investing in it carry a lot of risk.

from the first gold has always been a promising investment. in fact, ask people who have a lot of money to buy gold for long-term investments. I would probably invest 70% on gold, and 30% on bitcoin to supplement earning in a short time.

For me bitcoin is now more better over the gold because the popularity of bitcoin is totally increasing now and bitcoin is really the future so if we will hold our bitcoin for mote thna 10 years i am sure that the value of it can reached more than $100k and a lot of people is will be very profitable with bitcoin.

For me, I will not ever be choosing between the two if I can evenly choose both to convert all my wealth I have in the future years of my life. I will choose to have the conversion in Bitcoin and gold so that I can ensure to have a participant currency in virtual and in regular. Now that we are facing the rising technology, Bitcoin was a real good choice to have if you are going to convert your wealth for a chance that the value you have converted can grow into a larger amount in the future. In terms of gold, it was also do a good choice because it was still the greatest currency which is stable and recognizable by many people to be secure and measurement of wealth and power.

I would always prefer gold over bitcoin for a very simple reason. The question asked here is which is better for investing? Gold is an asset which can never go to zero. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which is not backed by any asset. The value of bitcoin can easily fluctuate south. Gold is a safe haven when it comes to uncertainties.
