Hye, please don't think it is an investment advice, but as a short term trader, I am just asking from you based on your own market research that as whenever BTC flies to moon, Altcoins dump. So based on your speculation in the current market scenario in which Altcoin we should trade ?
If you only have a dust of amount of Bitcoin, then short term is not a good idea. Just imagine getting $1 from your $1000 capital, with huge chance of loss is almost $50. That thing is not worth to risk, would rather to throw away your money into altcoin which is volatile compared to Bitcoin this time

I'm not sure I understand what you refer to here

Okay, you have a capital of 1000 dollars, and what exactly prevents you from successfully trading this capital with Bitcoin? How could you lose 50 dollars with Bitcoin and not lose it with some altcoin? Somehow, I have a feeling that you are actually talking about gambling, not trading. Apart from that, Bitcoin has recently shown quite a good amount of volatility on par with or even exceeding major altcoins. But perhaps I'm just missing something and you would like to expand on your thought a little further

I think all major cryptocurrencies should be in your portfolio. Yes, Bitcoin is definitely a leader and it should be the most. I would give the second place to Ethereum, and then you can buy the remaining highly capitalized cryptocurrencies in equal parts. In any case, a diversified portfolio is a sign of a competent investment strategy.

Why would someone have to trade in a losing state? It's worth trading if you know what you are doing but looking at the situation of the market it seems not it is not good to do short term for a moment since the market is on a stable state. Switching from altcoins might be the best way but you have to know which coins you have to trade.

Anyone, Know about the attack chain of Litecoin?

I see at facebook, forget about which group i see they share to there Litecoin got a chain attack on the chain. It's that really valid news or just a rumor fud

You seem to have gotten it wrong

What really happened was a so-called dusting attack, i.e. someone sending small amounts of lites (in this case it was 0.00000546 LTC) to some wallets (probably with a rich transactional history). The purpose of the attack is not to compromise the blockchain itself (like what the 51% attack is supposed to do) but rather track down certain users and their transactional activity on the blockchain. I don't know how it is meant to work in practice, so anyone more knowledgeable is welcome to chime in on this matter

Though market is too much volatile you can choose top ten coins from CMC that always trade in market. If yo choose a shit coin from market it my not trade in next 6 months so that you may face a great lose. So better is choose top ten coins from CMC that always you will see graph on market.

Thanks.

bitcoin remains the mainstay. but I think altcoin litecoin is still one of the most potential coins. now all that's left is to just choose bitcoin or litecoin, it's a natural thing to count
Litecoin is good though for investment because it is still very cheap and still falls among the top coins in the industry, but for real use case, I dint see anything that Litecoin does that is not already built in bitcoin, majority of these other coins only have extract of bitcoin and then built on a portion of it, if I am holding bitcoin already, I would not really see any much reason to hold on too tight to coins like Litecoin except maybe for the purpose of diversification though.

We cannot judge these projects alone by their current status, no one know their tomorrow, we just have to have little faith in them like investors of 2010 had little faith in bitcoin. So, my holding in Litecoin now is juts for future sake so that I don’t miss out in case, but bitcoin is the major coin that is very paramount to me.

Both! I`m in crypto for a long time, and I choose both! Why to choose between this two coins when both are very good, which one is better we all know, bitcoin of course, but litecoin is the second place, right behind bitcoin, for me that will be forever. I trade with bitcoin and litecoin, with bitcoin much more, with litecoin I choose mid term trading cause ltc is making swings but it takes time to drop and rise, at least I wait for it longer so I can have higher profit.

LTC is one of the rare coins that is worth investing, that is long present on the market and will remain there. Still I prefere Bitcoin because I think is more profitable, especialy on long term. Still if you want to diversify your investment LTC might be good choice.

Personally, I choose Litecoin any time of the day (even at night)

It is famous for its brutal price action, probably the most brutal among all major altcoins as you can often see price swings on the order of dozen percentages within just a day or two (sometimes even a few dozens, in both directions). So if you are looking at it as a short-term trader, Litecoin is definitely a preferred choice irrespective on which side of the trade you are on. You can short it as well as go long and you won't be disappointed with its price action

Always diversify your investment but of course btc as the main or top coin to invest. Good to invest also in other altcoins that also top in the market with ltc it takes time to increase.

Using bitcoin as the main investment will be a great idea because bitcoin is the leader of the cryptocurrency so bitcoin will give us a big profit in the long term. But litecoin as the altcoin can give another profit in bitcoin or fiat too, and if litecoin can increase in this month or the next month, then we will have a chance to make the profit. But so far, litecoin still at a low price and not move too high so maybe we need to wait for a while, and we have another altcoin that we can use it too to make the profit.

Binance coin is hitting big in the market, I have seen it hit 5% when all the coins including Bitcoin going down 1 to 8% and it were for three straight days, I don't know why the title of your post is about Bitcoin or Litecoin when obviously Bitcoin has a huge gap over Litecoin.

Ok Litecoin just had halving but it will hardly have an impact on its price, maybe in the future, for short term go for Binance and Tron but Bitcoin and Ethereum always deliver whether short term or long term I'm pretty sure you already have this two.

Btc is on the moon .We are still watching bullish momentum on altcoins .It always better to invest on btc but you need to have proper entry .On the other hand i always suggest to buy any top altcoin  and hold until the price you need to sell .So invest wisely .I thing BCH should be a good choice .

I think it is best if I still hold the bitcoin, but the other coins are very good but must also look at the development of bitcoin, they can decide the direction. Therefore, keeping bitcoin is always a wise decision

bitcoin influence has not yet reached the altcoin position. now we can see if that position cannot boost altcoin prices. but in the short term it might be good to make eth and ltc the best choice instead of having to risk many other coins.

LTC and ETH are good now to trade base on my observation. They don't have big movement for the past few weeks or months so trading them for short-term is not a bad choice. And compared to the previous year prices they are very cheap now so having them for long-term is good.

Altcoins these days are nuke. they keeps going down without any sign of live. bitcoin remains the best bet for investment but it could be catastrophic when bitcoin dominates over 80% of the market. I don;t think it is a proper to see bitcoin dominate so high.
