People can use this tool to transact/claim forked coins (and whatever coin now or later): https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions

See also https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tool-to-claim-coins-for-all-bitcoin-forks-without-using-wallets-or-running-nodes-2827163 for a summary and supported coins

Then let's see if BTP is a scam or not:

@shoeonyourhead you have not released you code yet but you should be able to provide the following information so we could include BTP in the tool, what we would need is the same as https://github.com/Ayms/bitcoin-transactions/blob/master/tx.js#L192-L204 for BTP and the hex representation of a transaction performed by BTP (ideally 1 or 2 inputs (with associated addresses and amounts) and outputs), thanks if you can send it

This looks to have turned out to be more of a spork, than a fork. Please respect the forks.

It seems that many people want to get coins that are easily famous through forking process which only turn to be scam. I think after this there will be another fork, can't wait to see it  Grin

Will using blockchain lead to an increase in transaction costs?

I don't buy nor sell anything here and never will.
It's not clear yet whether this is indeed a scam or not. The only accussation there was based on some alleged twitter post where the alleged author admitted BTP is a scam. Such twitter post doesn't exist (anymore), though. Also it seems very strange that a scammer would admit being a scammer, it makes no sense at all unless he is really just a dumb irationally acting teenager.

What I'm going to do is keeping my BTC at Bittrex and await for them to give me BTP and sell it asap.

And will never trade BTP ofc.

Another fork. At least be more creative on the name. My advice:  Bitcoin Pro, Bitcoin Advanced, Bitcoin Premium etc.
