Why do some people take this forum so deep?
I guess it's because those who do so see here as a form of a workplace where they can earn. There's that ambience of respect every workplace commands and it shouldn't be an abnormal if someone treats here with respect. One should treasure where one's heart is for it's even said that where a man's treasure is that's where his heart will be. The only bad part will have to be those who ass lick just to curry favour, whether here or offline.

I applaud your dedication to honesty and avoiding the use of AI, but I'm curious how you plan to navigate the vast amount of information and discussions happening in the Bitcoin world without utilizing any AI-powered tools. It's like swimming against the current with no flippers.

OP, it is easily said than done, just like in my country citizens and leaders finds it difficult to keep to the country's pledge, instead they do the otherwise. So many thing you said there is not necessary for you as a newbie because you lack such knowledge. All you need to do is to keep on learning and contributing effectively to the forum,by making your own research and also reading posts created by forum members. Also, comment on topics that you have the idea or knowledge on. Forget about catching scammers as this isn't important. My advise is that you should be committed to the forum.

I pledge to Bitcoin talk,
To be honest and open to corrections,
To state vivid what is true and not,
To avoid copying others  and avoid the use of AI
But rather study and understand the Bitcoin concept,
To by necessary means be  of value to this forum,
To Expose fraud by any necessary means
And above all contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem
So help me God🥲

This is just an article nothing personal
What for? For merit? If it is, then try creating a more contructive one and not some sort of sentiment, it would be more informative in such way.
Nothing personal but it seems to be your promise to yourself and this industry.
We are all free on our ways in this industry; there's no need to pledge or what not 'coz the extent of how huge the number of people and how large this technology is, you won't be able to follow those things for sure also, you are not required to do so. As a beginner you should be more seeking for wider understanding of what you are engaging yourself with than to make promises 'coz that won't be necessary. Also, god has nothing to do with this.

This is a BitcoinTalk website only (Op). People from almost every country exist here so learn from what other people are doing. There is nothing to be pitied that is to be said with intelligence. That's all there is to discuss about Bitcoin. (OP) So I don't find anything funny here.

So funny! I don't know who you are pledging for, or did you find it in the forum rules that you should do this? This is nonsense. I don't know if you are looking for a post to drop, which is why you just came up with this. I don't know, but seriously, this doesn't make any senses. For the time you have wasted to write this, you should have just use it and be going around the forum to gain one or two things. It is not necessary to drop a post or make a comment when you know you don't have anything reasonable to contribute.

It's a free world, so let him pledge to anyone he wants as long as he doesn't violate the forum rules. He pledged a lot of things in the post; I only hope he can keep them and stick to his words. Where this post becomes rubbish or a waste of time and effort is when he fails to replicate any of those promises and is found conducting any act that contradicts everything he has stated in the pledge.

Don't understand the reason behind posting this. This is nothing but a forum where people talks about bitcoin, Blockchain and other stuffs, you are taking this too serious. OP you should keep on scrolling and learn what others are doing here instead of asking help from God here.

Instead of making your own pledge just read this Bitcointalk rules and guidelines.

If you've joined a specific community forum like here on Bitcointalk or even on Reddit and are unsure about any expectations or commitments, I recommend reviewing the forum's terms of service, rules, or guidelines.  This will provide you with a clear understanding of what is expected from members and help you participate in a way that adjusts to the community's values.

But rather study and understand the Bitcoin concept,
That's a good point.
As a newbie like you, I will recommend more reading than posting, so that you'll better understand the forum and next how the Bitcoin concept work.

This photograph spelled out everything and I don't know why some members have gone over the hill with this topic because I am sure Ops is just cashing fun and just as he stated in the last it's just a joke and Ops is just expressing his excitement, it may be over the board though, but then we have to contain different characters and being able to coexist with them all.

Just a suggestion that i noticed that from your expression you are a little obsessed with the concept of Bitcoin and Bitcoin talk forum, but then we have to be clear im something that ks control over our emotions when it comes to Bitcoin so not to make or exposed our privacy.

While asking God to help you, I will rather ask you to help yourself by getting familiar with the forum rules and how it work on the two links I will be giving you below,
Newbies - Read before Posting and Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
Because I know that as a Newbie & beginner on this forum, you are bound to face lots of challenges & discouraging times when you will want to give up on the forum, but it is your ability to endure in such tough times that will determine how fast or slow you will likely grow on this forum (i.e Only you keep posting valuable contents & obeying the rules).

I take this thread as a joke, because like @onset said the forum isn’t a cult and should not be treated as one. You don’t have to be a scam catcher to be of value to the forum, checked your post history to see what other funny posts you might have and I wasn’t disappointed. If you really want to be a positive addition to the forum, you first have to improve your post quality.

What's you problem if they love the forum deeply? No one in this forum has ever said to lick the books or worship them and saying such words isn't a fair thing buddy. The forum is unique and there is no other website like this forum. All the other forums are mostly dead and the members on those forums aren't much knowledgeable about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
You’re right, all other forums are mostly dead. Now tell me, out of all these other forums, how many pay you per post?

The rules of this forum are general rules and anyone who is knowledgeable enough knows that those set rules are part of each respected institution or forum, and even those rules are present in schools and collages because plagiarism is the stealing of other people's hard work and the ones who do that aren't actually knowledgeable about the things they are posting, but are the thieves who are stealing copyrighted text and claiming it as their own.
The main reason plagiarism isn’t allowed here is because it’d turn this forum into a sad loophole of bots and copy-paste content. Even the current state of it is pretty bad although plagiarism is minimum and expelled whenever found. Everything’s being repeated over and over every thread like an infinite echo.

All in all, did we all really become such sensitive snowflakes that I can’t say it’s weird some people take this forum in a too damn deep way? To each their own, but reading the post I had a feeing OP was ready to soon worship some of our Legendary members lol.

Some people have not understand while this forum exists and the purpose of creating forum, one of the major objectives while forum is been established is to exchange the knowledge of bitcoin to each other, but it seems that op have not peruse into the community to know the motive of bitcointalk, this bitcoin pledge rendered by op were do you think it will take us to" the answer is no where" so op I will openly tell you that your idea of bitcoin pledge is not supportive and not encouraging.

It's not about waking up and starting to make pledges and promises that you are not asked to make, and at the end of the day, you cannot also be able to keep to those words. Just like others have said, there is no point in trying to tell the forum and its members how honest and truthful you will be; no one really cares who you are in the real world, and as such, your outside life doesn't matter here; if you choose to lie here, that's your problem. What the forum need is someone who is here open-minded willing to learn contribute in whichever way they can, and help others in sharing knowledge where necessary. Outside of that, any other thing you want to do is left to you, and if you go against the rules of the forum, then the law will catch you and you will be punished accordingly, and that pledge won't save you.

Obviously it's nothing more than you've said, just a post and this is you kidding around in a board where its expected of you to bring some sensible contribution.

Perhaps you want to kid around, there is an off topic board gor you to do that or better still, leave it there on the Beginners and help board should you be targeting newbies rather than have it on the Bitcoin discussion board.

This is just an indication that you didn't take your own pledge seriously as the pledge talks about rules and contributing to the crypto ecosystem. This posy doesn't respect that very much.

What you have to do is simple, now that you are here on the forum, just follow the dos and don'ts on the platform. And when you do that, for sure you will go grow here and you will know what extent Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mean.

And you can also learn a lot through the members here who can teach you what to do so that you can go deeper here of course. Apart from that, it is so that no one can be deceived of course. The only thing that matters is that you will be true.

Why do some people take this forum so deep? It’s just a website man, follow common sense & the rules and you’re in. There’s no need for boot licking or worshipping, you’re suppised to be here for the fun of it, it’s not some cult of weirdos (I hope, because I’m in it too lol)

It doesn’t seems harsh to me. Onset is just telling OP that this forum is just a discussion platform like social media places although with much advantages like earning and getting free resources on bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large. But from what the OP actually wrote and like other newbies they just come and feel nervous about the whole thing which isn’t supposed to be. You don’t clearly need to state out like some officer taking an oat before going into war. Feel free and engage in discussions and do not take the forum way too serious. The more perfect you wish to be the easier you could end making mistakes

What Onset said. You don't even necessarily need to go through Bitcointalk to be successful in whatever your plan is with Bitcoin/crypto; just like how you don't need to go through WarriorForum if you want to be successful in the world of digital marketing.

If you are a true newbie then it's okay otherwise I think someone whose original account is banned or has done something wrong could probably write something like this. But, if you are a honest member and you created the post to show us that you will abide all the rules then that's a very nice thing. I recommend you to be a nice member and follow all the rules of the forum and soon you'll soon make some good friends on the forums who will help you by replying to your posts with the knowledge they have.

I recommend you to read Bitcoin whitepaper and deeply study the topics of the forum and the replies to learn about it deeply. I personally learnt about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from this forum and I'm proud to say that I made the best decision of my life by joining this forum. It has helped me a lot in my financial life and I truly appreciate all of the knowledgeable members of the forum who are deeply devoted to this forum.

Why do some people take this forum so deep? It’s just a website man, follow common sense & the rules and you’re in. There’s no need for boot licking or worshipping, you’re suppised to be here for the fun of it, it’s not some cult of weirdos (I hope, because I’m in it too lol)
