And we are back to $10,000... Grin. .what a wonderful day for us, hopefully this is not just a fake pump and then it will go back eventually.

Maybe we should thank Trump then.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-surges-to-10-380-as-trump-threatens-military-crackdown

Quote
Within the last hour, the Bitcoin (BTC) price abruptly surged to $10,380 after spending the last month trading in a symmetrical triangle pattern. The move above the crucial $10K mark occurred as United States President Donald Trump mobilized local police and the National Guard to disperse masses of protestors on the White House grounds.

Yup, I am glad to see $10k price Grin

I guess that many of us already make a big profit from the price. But I think the price needs to stable first at $10k before it can increases higher than $10,300 because the next target will be at $11k. So we need to wait for the price to increase for $900 to be $11k, which I am sure that the bitcoin price can hit that price soon. Don't forget to sell your bitcoin before the price get down Grin
For the first quote, I don't see why relating Trump's stupidity to the rise of the bitcoin or altcoins prices. It doesn't make sense.
For the stability of the price above $10k, yea it is a must if we need to no longer have 4 digits Wink

Looks like the new bitcoin pumper is Trump, I'm wondering if he is secretly investing on bitcoin?

The last time bitcoin pumped IIRC was due to this comment.

Donald Trump Just ‘Advertised’ Bitcoin After Fed Creates $6 Trillion

Hopefully Bitcoin can reach above $ 10,000 and last a few months,
because if Bitcoin can be $ 10,000 and Bitcoin dominance decreases, you know the meaning. Altcoin Season  Grin
If bitcoin remains above $10,000 for the next few months, green will appear for most altcoins. I think it is not only $10,000 but also can very quickly surpass the next resistance levels because bitcoin has been steadily growing for a long time.

It has broken the psychological thing and above 10k is a very big thing considering in last few weeks it was hovering below 10k levels only and now we need to see if it can sustain anything above 10000$ mark in coming few days and weeks then we can see some good rally in the btc and also a good time for people to stay invested for the larger gains.

Bitcoin is officialy back to $10 000 again. Right before the halving it seems. Last time Bitcoin was over $10k was back in February this year as recorded by Coinmarketcap.

But $10k BTC was short lived.

The Coronavirus pandemic sure played it's part in bringing the price back down.

Bitcoin seems to be very resilient and it did not took much time for it to bounce back to $10k.
3 months later, it's back where it was.

Also, check this crazy Sell order on Binance at $10 000 mark of 883 BTC, which translates to nearly $9M. While it did hit $10 000, it did not break it, yet.

Next up is halving which everybody is excited about.
What are your expectations?

Again it pumped an 10k level and now at $10,117 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

so at any chance we are in Bull run now?

the Pandemic is now losing effect and economy are starting to progress now, maybe in a month or 2 we will find the Halving effect already?

currently, the price of bitcoin is again above $ 10k, it's just that we need to see developments that can occur further. we do not know whether the current prices will last and continue to rise, or there will be a dump again like previous achievements. however, I assume that higher price increases will occur until the end of the year. maybe the halving effect is starting to show.

we need to see this stay long now, because all those recent 10k leveling did not stay longer just a day or 2 and fell down to 9k again.

I wonder if the ongoing volatility generally is causing a bullish run on BTC, its possible we have 3 different fronts in that respect and more possible.    Its strong action but alot more work to get through prior volume and so resistance overhead.

Thats my view of prior pricing and levels ongoing that may settle daily close.   The bigger note is that it starts to ruin the negative bearish trend that was being taken as still in play, I think its quite flimsy at the moment though I'd say neutral is my general take.

I made this post just before the halving when BTC hit $10K but it didn't hold for long.

Now, one month later, we are back in business.

The market is becoming a lateralization, but seeing the price so close to $ 10k and seeing trends heading, the halving effect is likely to help enter the range, in the long run it will come and go. will exceed $ 10k. Right now it can hit $ 10k again as it's a psychological range that investors accept. And possibly the effect that Hashrate has dropped by 36% everything is still showing in a very positive environment, here you can see some of it: https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/05/15/bitcoin-hashrate-drops-a-massive-36-since-may-12-halving-what-does-it-show/

10k is a strong level with huge resistance.
I think that if we are going to reach it again the price is going to be dropped again as there would be a lot of people who would like to hold even if the halving event is already over.

Do you think the current bitcoin rally will able to cross 10,000$ ? Yesterday, it made a high of 9947$ at kraken but was not able to cross 10,000$.
As per many experts, as long as bitcoin is below 10,000$, we are in a bearish trend.

The price is moving on the 5 digits again, so it's possible that in the next coming days we might hit $10,000. But as we can see in the previous attempts, pre-halving, it is rejected, so it's a big barrier to break. Short term indicators though looks like we are in a bullish trend, but midterm? it is a different story, we might see the price holding around $9500-$9600.

In the mid to long term, bitcoin will be in a bull trend. The reason for this is the halving. As we have seen after previous halving, bitcoin always break its all time high. With this in mind, everyone has one hope that bitcoin will break its all time high in next 1.5 - 2 years.

This is a good holding price, though  bitcoin failed to pump to $10,000 yet, I am sure it will again pump soon.
Anyway, things are looking good now, bitcoin being able to stay above $9K is a good price and if we will a good support at this level, $10,000 will be easy to achieve.

A little pull back at the moment, with just a few days to the bitcoin halving, we should see some bullish momentum. Since not much rally before the halving, I am pretty optimistic we will see much more after the halving, the amount of dumping by miners will obviously fall and encourage some price action
But we did not saw any Bullish momentum mate instead at the day of
halving there are no changes as if nothing happens
in the event.though after few days price slightly move up and not standing
at $9,500 and this stable price might last long before
we finally cross 10,000 and really starts bulllrun because the Virus still burning
the market to Bloodiness .don't lose hope guys we
can make it to the top within the year and the next.

Few days after the halving people are looking on the market, everyone is hoping that we finally reach the $10k level and from there never look back, but it will still take several months before we feel the effect of the halving, the market will still go down and up and correct itself but it will eventually rally for another all-time high.

I'm not sure If Bitcoin is able to hit another ATH for atleast the next 2 years. I will be surprised If bullrun will begin this year and hit new ATH in 2021. Base on the market movements today, It seems that Bitcoin is struggling to hit the 5 digit figure again this time since February. Though we're close to hitting it, but a slight pull back is depriving to break that level.
Anyway, there's a rumor about the traders growing interest in altcoin. That will be a good news in crypto space that could pump the market cap anytime soon.
I just looked at the price now and it looks like it is going to hit the 5 digit price again but I don't know if it would try to break another price resistance or is it just going to touch that $10k then back to the casual $8k to $9k figure for a week. It seems like someone is trying to drive the price due to the halving—I hope most newbies won't fall for the trap that is mostly going to happen as I suspected. It's not the right time for the bull market now, don't fall for it.

Like halving event 2017 ago, when bitcoin price wasn't up as many trader desired the alt season came and make most of altcoin price went up. Interesting to see ETH price at that time, ETH price was increasing a lot until reach $1500 and yeah I got a lot of profit of it.

Just hoping that the situation will be happen again for the current halving event. I bought some ETH and still holding them, so as I can sell them when alt season comes. I feel it is reasonable to happen, since we just know that bitcoin hasn't up drastically.
