Yes it's true, but now it seems the price has decreased's phases. It's a little hard to guess exactly at the price movement, but I think if I must to guessing.. the price at $10k is likely to be achieved in 2018, but I less can be sure to guessing in what month it will be reached.

I'm sure it will raise again later, that cancelled segwit2x is pretty big though. Many people back to altcoin and sell their bitcoins, that's why the bitcoin price start going down and altcoin price are going up but when the news about segwit2x is back, the price will bounce back to the top!

We're in for some market consolidation for a while now. Just turbulence ahead for the next few months.

Probably bitcoin price would reach $10,000 by 2019. It is too early for it to reach the said price by 2017 IMO. Yes we all dont know what happen to bitcoin in 2018 but as of now we know that a lot of people is predicting that bitcoin will be more bigger value than we expected, and we do hope that it would be happen so that all of us can earn bigger also. As i predict bitcoin in 2018 is pump into 3up times than the value for now, we've observed that bitcoin is known as savoiur of everyone so I think this will more roll up to 2018.

Today price is already 7500 dollara and still continue so if you have extra money in your wallet it's better if you invest that in bitcoin and possible that you earn a lot of money. I think the possible price we see 10k dollars is the month of december 2017 or maybe january 2018 the price . I hope as soon as possible the price become 10k dollars so we can make more profit.

I think bitcoin might reach $10000 by the feb month of year 2018. Yes we cannot say it will surely reach but it is possible it will happen. We have many prediction but lets on positive side bitcoin will hit at that price.
