it is always a good idea to both look at the bigger picture and also look at some percentages.

we are up 150% from the start of this year.
we are up about 500% compared to last year.
price broke the $2000 resistance and started rising at a very fast speed and reached $2900 in a very short time. now we are down only 13% from that top.

you see when you look at things through a different eyes they look pretty different and normal

I think it will depend on how the people will be dropping or selling their bitcoins because of the panic about these network splitting, but one thing they don't know, bitcoin price will be pumping all the way $3500 after the month of August when the bitcoin network spliiting will occur. I think many investors now are planning to buy more.

We see dramatic changes in the Bitcoin course today, of course, different things may influence these fluctuations, but I think that Bitcoin users will not suffer significant losses. If the price is unchanged at the end of the year, then in 2018 we will see Bitcoin's active growth. Maybe I'm wrong, But this is my sense.

Correction phase has started at the time the price peaked at +$2750 last month -- traders are desperately looking to cash out profits. Main point of importance is that there is barely any serious buy support, which basically explains why the price is bouncing up and down with $200-$300 in a matter of hours. In order to move forward and break through this cycle of bouncing up and down, we need to wait till a certain number of larger traders have liquidated their positions.

Investors need liquidity and for liquidity you need low prices to buy

Of course the price is going down, a correction was very much expected. Even now its worth booking profits since there is way more to go down.

This looks normal because the previous bitcoin has increased very high. Right now people are hoping for another bitcoin price increase. Now we are too comfortable with the 2700USD rates. If there is a decline up to 2000USD of course this will make a bit of trouble among bitcoin users. They will lose a lot of money when it has invested some time ago.

It will go close to zero. proudhon was right all along. He predicted this in 2011. Best to pack or things and spend time more useful.

Well they are now focusing to litecoin but still there are some big whales in China and their government is the hindrance for good things for them.

They are one of the contributors in the market of bitcoin and they are not just only contributors.

But they are making a big move to the market of crypto and specifically with bitcoin too.

Yeah this is the usual activity of new investors and I guess most of everyone here. That's why everyone is just focused with the movement of bitcoins price. And currently the price is at $2,295 and it went back at that price and I guess it's now trying to recover as it will attract a lot of people to buy now.

1. People saw bitcoin reaching $3000 and everyone wanted to sell for $$$ profit. Now market exceeds in bitcoin and naturally the price is falling.
2. People saw ETH increasing in record time at record price and theyre selling bitcoiin for ETH (for a short time ETH managed to raise even if other crypto currencies was fallng dragged by the bitcoin fall too) .Now market exceeds in bitcoin and naturally the price is falling.
3. Some central banks across Europe (german bundesbank, romania central bank,etc) are still against bitcoin use and they publish some announcements against bitcoin , people get scared will not buy anymore for a while. Now market exceeds in bitcoin  and naturally the price is falling.

Bitcoin will fall until $2000 ,people will not sell btc for $$$ profit anymore, then it will start to raise again ,possibly in this summer to see an aggressive uprise to 2700 again in maximum 2 months. IF some stupid politicians or central banks will not make more stupid announcements against crypto currencies and IF the network will not be crowded with pending Txs.
If You want to help bitcoin restore a good price do not sell anymore for a while.

Bitcoin price is depending on many factors such as :
supply on market, political events/announcements related to crypto, forks, bad or fake news, another crypto price going up to fast,etc.

After bubbles we have historically bottomed at around the previous bubble high - that implies a stopping point around the $1070 level on Stamp. I think this time we might bottom out a little higher in the $1200-1400 area - but would also not be surprised if we looked at the old january 2017 low as a the ultimate support level (yes thats below 1000)  (WTF it'll never get there - well people said it would never go below $200 after we hit $1000 in 2013 , and we did).
We are looking at the potential for the next long trend bear market, it will depend upon how much damage is done to new adopters here and the press coverage we see.

Every damn coin in the market has tanked in the last 24 hours. This was excepted considering the insane amount of money that has been pumped into the entire crypto sphere in the last 3 months. Infact if there isn't a sharp pullback in the short term, I would be very worried about the overall health of the market.

In my opinion bitcoin is facing tough competition at the moment.The altcoins market is diversifying like crazy and tons of money are getting poured in.Looking at the coins market cap BTC dominance has fallen to  38.9%.Price can drop further in my opinion but slowly (in the short term) while bitcoin investors/holders look for positive news.One positive news could be a Bitcoin ETF that might send the price "To Tha Moon"

The correction that we have seen I think is pretty normal after bitcoin sitting at a good price since some took profit and I guess this is a good time to rebuy. Many hopes that we would reach 3000 USD soon but I think it would take a longer time before it really reaches that. I kinda like bitcoin's price the way it is now, sitting on a price range above 2000 USD. It would rise again soon but I think it won't reach 3000 USD that easily.

As I've always saying, if bitcoin is increasing or decreasing it's a good thing. You can avail or purchased more cryptocurrency when bitcoin is decreasing. It's natural! If other users show it to the other people? Then encourage them to invest there money on it? It's a good thing also because the more user used bitcoin the bitcoin may increasing as much as the user wants!

600 USD dumping today this is really huge.yeah already recover 100 USD and now price is 2400 USD per btc.I think this time price will reach 3000 USD.there is nothing be worry I think this dump happening as usual buy back.many people selling their btc on this hype.don't fall in trap of this hype.

I have read a news that it went up at $3,014 somewhere at $3,000 I don't know if that news was true. As I'm not monitoring bitcoin's price from time to time. But fortunately, the price went down at $2,338 recently and now the price is recovering back again now at $2,412. This is just a normal move of those profit takers.

Litecoin is "chinese" and its rising

I'm sure bitcoin will increase back again since the price of bitcoin is really decrease from $2,900 to $2,300 and i think we already experience the same thing few months ago from drop price we will see a new price reach so i think we will see above more price in $2,900 value after this drop.
But i heard a news that after the down fall of bitcoin ethereum is gaining its popularity and the price increase almost 15%. I just got this news when searching why bitcoin is falling so it is a good to have ethereum also for alternative if you want to make an investment for a long time like bitcoin before..
