May opinion it is down before up.Wait a news from Japan thay want legelise digital currencys like a money
Can you imagine in that country with negative rates

The Japan has negative interest rates, that should make bitcoin ideal to be the currency in that country.

No matter what happens in Japan or any other well developed country, there won't be any country that will adopt Bitcoin and make it their main currency. It's a dream and nothing more than that. It will never be reality.

Yen and every major currency has been.

Any form of fiat eventually loses its true value, but the covered value will always remain the same since its globally accepted.

the price is definitely not going to 400 or prices that are lower than 400 dollars as it is fluctuating from time to time

i think its a great time to buy in order to get some more money as the price is soon going to grow most probably

Not likely to go sub 400, it is well over 400 and trend does not seem so negative. Japan did not recognize it as a currency yet?

i think isn't after yesterday the price break down to $414 and now seems the price already moved up not much but better than back down to below $400.

That is true,  we are just scaring ourselves if we are thinking about the price dip and adding weight to its dip.. lets think about the dip as a chance for us to buy...
This looks like more than a dip to me.  We already attempted a breakout that made it up to 440 and didn't get anywhere, now the market has lost it's steam and is going to bleed out.  We may get one more run up there before finally heading down, but I don't think sub-400 is too far off.

You were right. We went sub-400 sooner than I thought tho.

You see but then, do you think everyone is going to be moving over to another currency as the major currency soon? Or will this be a long painful transition from Bitcoin to something else that will take 2-3 years.

the time is not yet right for the breakout. so the price is going to stay at this level and go up and down sometimes as big as $30 so that day traders can earn profit from buying low and selling high.
it has always been like this in bitcoin market, just like any other market but with bigger swings.

In any case, I will just take a halt trading rather than selling my btc at a lower price than I purchased it. I was too late to cut my losses when it took a sudden dive.
I could only hope that it won't go sub-400 but if it does, it might be a good time to buy some to balance my previous losses.

The price could go to $400 again. But it will not stay below that level for too long. The price will rise quickly.

Well  as you see the price went back to 440 and now 422. It's the nature of the beast. In this case bitcoin.

Now there is no such way to see a value less than $400. We can soon see the figure $450.
If the halving has come very close then it might go sub $400 so to have a great increase.

It´s doing the same shit for a long time now. So, yes, it will go back sub 400 again I guess. I sold 10% of my BTC yesterday (unfortunately @415 instead of 440) only because this cycle repeated itself for too long now. I am no daytrader and had my coins on a paper wallet for almost 2 years but now it was time to take some risk. So, cmon BTC go to 380.

EDIT: But there is also another cycle that repeats itself every time. And that is, always when I take a risk, it goes badly wrong. So chances are, we will never see sub 400 BTC ever again  Cheesy

Most probably... And what's worse it seems that Ethereum is really overtaking. With Bitcoin down say 2x, Ethereum's just have to rise 5x to become number 1, and that's nothing for Ethereum. Thank you Blockstream!

But I guess, in the end... Ethereum really does seem like more mature project, better one wins.
I don't know why we are talking here about Ethereum? I mean there is about 20 maybe more topics in altcoin section.. This is Bitcoin speculation. Leave us and take your M(agic)-ETH with you Grin
