The price is moving rapidly and i am not too sure what the reason is for the recovery and then going down,the only reason said was the talk of a hard fork and even then the coin recovered significantly day before yesterday only to be dumped yesterday once again.Hope that everything will be settled pretty soon.
It did recover a bit yesterday but it's down again today. Sigh, people are really being scared of that fork.

There will be always some problem in the background which will influence bitcoin's price:
1. Early price shifts and market susceptible to manipulation during early years.
2. Chinese leverage trading and bot trading which caused ATH in 2013.
3. Potentially negative legislation which plagued BTC in 2015.
4. Halving effect in 2016.
6. PBoC intervention in early late 2016, early 2017.
7. Scaling problem and forking issue in 2017.

It was kind of like someone let go of a stretched out elastic. We went BOOM down $300, back up 150, down 80... it's just so all over the place. I don't think we're recovering I think there was an upwards correction after the panic selling.

Good news but dont rejoice too much because bitcoin price that you are rejoicing over that is going higher might just take the reverse bearing within the twinkle of an eye. Although I am equally happy with the ways things are turning out but I dont want to keep my hopes high since I dont want to be disappointed at the end of the day. Lets just keep our hands fold and see how things will turn out.
Nothing is predictable when it comes to bitcoin we just need to go along with the flow and constant market updates and researches to make sure we sell the bitcoin at the peak and buy it during the time when the price drops.
But I do think that in order to revive bitcoin enough to find some product that is popular and is sold only for bitcoin.

Can you explain little more? You say Bitcoin is over... now what are you thinking exactly and how this is logical? ETH is over that had been forked ? IF will happen will be take the prices down because everybody will sell to buy back more but how you can say it's over?

Bitcoin price is recovering every day ! I knew the price will comes back as what it used to be or near it. Pretty sure it will reach the 1200$ mark again. I am currently waiting this so i can sell my bitcoin for shopping

Whales and miners does manipulate a lot the bitcoin price that affect all the market since all altcoins traded against bitcoin, as January bitcoin were up and went donw 300 dollars, some were able to get more bitcoins with this dump, and thats why bitcoin has soo many interest around, even dumping people making money into it.

If the price goes up a few dozen bucks after a dump, people directly assume it is a recovery. If you closely look at this whole fork situation, then there is no such a thing as a recovering price in the last few days. I wouldn't even be surprised to see the price sink below the $1000 level today or in the coming days. In that regard, just to benefit from potential sharp dumps, I would be setting up various buy orders in the range of the $800-$950 levels. Just leave them open. If they don't get triggered you haven't lost anything.
It has really recovered well from the price drop it got way back in January which was 700$ per Bitcoin it has now truly recovered which came to a high priced at 1200$ per Bitcoin. Which is a 500$ improvement in a little over a month. Now the price of Bitcoin got back to the 1000$ level due to again a shorting that happened last week. Hoping to see the price of Bitcoin recover again this week.
Actually it has not recovered rather it settled new goals and new price records this time if I am not wrong. And guys why you become so much worried when the price even drops a little ? If the price would only go up and up only traders would find it impossible to earn via trading. I am one of those traders and hence I know the value of these swings, its really crucial.

don't let them take from you so easy... I never look at the bitcoin price and think, "oh wow, the bitcoin price is recovering" this thing can move hundreds of dollars in an hour never mind a day. i will be able to relax about the price when its in the tens of thousands.....lol
Very few people will think like you, but there are many people scares about bitcoin when the bitcoin price is kept reducing. They will be happy when the bitcoin price is increasing, it's their nature, we should not comment on them. Even though bitcoin price decreases, but definitely one day it will increase for sure.
For me I can't call this a recovery, though some of the loss has been gained but the main issue that resulted in the intial dump is still there, until the scaling issue is resolved I won't be bullish on BTC price. In recent times the clamour for hard fork has increase and this seems to be a new reality
We are expecting that soon and I'm glad also to see the price going back slowly again, this time should be consistent and those who were able to buy cheap bitcoins should be lucky now watching the price grow. I hope the price of bitcoin will recover its position very soon.
with the current cryptocurrency market situation that honestly for me a little bit strange , bitcoin price will hard to be predicted. i am watching for 3 biggest altcoin dogecoin, darkcoin and ethereum all of them go up when bitcoin price go up too except dogecoin.so i will say once dogecoin move up , it could be a sign the bitcoin price will keep dropping instead recovering in the next couple months.
