For me the price of bitcoin this year 2017 is around $1100-$1500 it is possible to happen . If the halving is coming for sure the price of bitcoin is increasing. I hope bitcoin price become stable or increase. But no one knows what happen in bitcoin price if it is dump or pump. Many people are investing in bitcoin everyear and for sure it is big help so the price increase . I hope rich people or big investor will invest bitcoin. So the bitcoin pump to the moon.
Well the price prediction before this major dump would be 2500$ surely at the end of this year because the price was just going to reach $1300. But the current situation and stats tell that the price can be around 1700-1800$, but as more countries are starting to adopt it, the price is literally a surprise right now.
Mainstream adoption is not really that widespread so what is affecting the price of Bitcoin now is the same as before. Whale manipulation, law of supply and demand and speculation. Japan's acceptance of Bitcoin is good news but that also opens a door to limit it. I would prefer no regulation for Bitcoin and keep everything open.
Btc is bouncing back from 900$ when the issue of btc and btu rise. But after the issue btc is going to 2000$ and can be even more higher ,right now btc is at 1150$ which is a good sign going to the moon.
No, it is not going to come back again at $900 it is now stable at $1,000+ if ever this BTU will be dead. We will see bitcoin to hit to $2,000. I guess for upcoming week we'll see the price at $1,200+ and before the month of April ends we'll see it stable there. While before the end of the year, let's assume it will be at $2,000.
it is going to take some time but eventually it will happen, the same thing was about classic and all the others, they come and make some noise and scare people but in the end they don't gain traction that matters and then they die.
these hiccups are good though, we can buy cheaper coins and make profit.
I have read awhile ago some coindesk article about bitcoin predictions for this, there is a person that speculate the same prices as we are expecting. Vinny Lingham predicted $2,000 before the end of the year, so I don't want to be discouraged that the price will be on the down side for the upcoming months just like what others are saying.

i think bitcoin unlimited and fork issue can always follow bitcoin until problem block size is solved
I'm not sure if bitcoin really has a block size problem
When I look at the mempool it's sometimes really large.
I have no explanation why from one moment to another the number of transactions should increase that much unless somebody is doing so intentionally.
And if somebody can do that now, most likely he can do that no matter how big the limitations to block size are.

It's really hard to predict the price this year because the outcome of the blocksize debate matters a lot.

Block size matters always in the time of halving. It's already reduced towards 16000 in the last halving. Price is always depends on demand and supply. If you look at adoption means already we are moving steadily in that because from 2014 onwards we are getting adoption continuously from various MNCs in the world. Recently, Japanese adopt bitcoin as legal currency. So it's resolved already. I think you may understand better now.

In my opinion today. I think after all this problem conflicting bitcoin vs BTU,Hardfork problems. Still..
That just give another resistance and immune to the bitcoin market, Those traders are leaning from that case while the debate still continue... and they were realizing it will not affect the market price again. In this time more people realized if that was useless debate. All about the politics by the politicians.

I'm sure though, from the beginning I said that the price will increase and can not stopped. And I continue to recommend that don't sell at the moment now, because the price will skyrocket, this is beginning not middle let alone the last.

There is no issue, and I am fairly confident that there will be no issue (i.e. chain split).BU is nothing more than amateurish build and untested proposal garbage. Anyone supporting BU is basically rooting against Bitcoin. Seriously how can you prefer BU over SegWit?
Sure, SegWit isn't a perfect solution, especially for the long term as the chances are high that after a year or two we will face the same discussions, but there is no better proposal, that's the whole point.

I’ve been following the price for a long time, and it comes down as intuitive to me to predict these numbers, I myself don’t know exactly why, but it has to do with its high volatility which is decreasing
sometime our intuition can not explain why this could be happen or is it really like that and else, because beside using analysis or use another technique, sometimes our feeling is involved and help us to get the sign of the price. maybe its like predicting something but sometime its really happen. but if the price is really gets up in $1,350 then its good for us and we can selling our bitcoin for people which want to sell or we can still keep our bitcoin for another increase of the price.
