What cancelled fork are you talking about? The segwitx2 has returned to us again, we are going to receive those tokens again, it got cancelled but they said that they are going to give us the free bitcoin segwitx2 coins because the fork is happening today.
It is strange, but it is really going to happen because i think that 10% of the total miners decided to create this useless fork again. THIS is the real reason of why bitcoin increased a lot today. It is upto $8000 right now because people are moving their alts funds to bitcoin in order to receive those tokens.

I think you have the point there. Thought the Segwitx2 is canceled for good, but it seems like those miners and traders won't give up on it. Maybe, Bitcoin's price will fall again, once the segwitx2 hard fork is done...
