You might call this expert prediction but still is just speculation. Bitcoin is highly volatile and one year is a very long period of time, anything is possible. It's hard to make relevant predictions because from the current position you can't envisage all changes and factors that will influence the market.
To my opinion short term predictions based on a month or two period are more reliable and more convenient to stick to for making some personal strategies.

Even the expert trader we don't know what is really possibld to happen to bitcoin in the next year. Maybe they predict it happen because they do research and they see what is possible but it's not 100 percent that happen. But I hope the price will increase very high again.

Do you seriously expect the market to keep bouncing up and down with +10% margins? It's not the market's fault that you can't take advantage of lower margin movements.
Current market is perfect for longer term accumulation within what seems to be firm range, and that's what people should be focusing on. People should learn that without anything forming a bullish trigger, there is no reason for the price to move. Instead of complaining, start utilizing the somewhat stable market to transact with others, or just take a break and do something else that's productive. Complaining here won't do anything for you.
Isn't it great that when you are being sent a certain amount in Bitcoin that the fiat value remains more or less the same for a longer while? Perfect time to utilize Bitcoin's currency aspect.

It's nothing crazy like the $1 million by 2020 that John McAfee is predicting
He has lost his credibility a long time ago already. He made certain predictions last year and implies that it wasn't him having made that prediction, but someone else using his name. What? Video proof shows otherwise. 
It's basically the same with all the shitcoins he keeps promoting for $100,000 in return. At some point he was accused of manipulation and whatnot, and then blatantly claimed his account was hacked and that it wasn't him.
This dude has serious mental problems. It's a billionaire. He shouldn't degrade himself like that for pocket change (yes, for him that's pocket change). He's nothing more than an eccentric old man with too much free time.
I am not a fan of expert opinion anyway, still I am just a fan of the charts and the trend and so far, that is fine by me. In my belief my chart analysis are the real experts to guide me better than anyone else in this world.
I think its pretty much realistic guess for future bitcoin price. Mining is becoming lot more expensive and new businesses are growing everyday. I was expecting to see 50000 dollars eventually in 3 years. 35k for next year is fine guess too.

All these are just some stories that touch the surface of the earth. There is absolutely no way we can know what will be happening in the next few seconds in the market, let alone, what will be happening in 2019. It may be less, it may even be far more than that, but the only thing we have to ourselves is time and trend. Enough of all these bullshit speculation just for the sake of generating some FOMO in the market. Proven a reliable long term support level? Where is the proof ?i strongly believe that the prediction is not far from the truth which will happen in no time.
Some months back, even $100k also seemed possible with that time frame. But after few countries stand and mtgox sell-off kind of things made those speculations a collapsed one. As per few experts $36k is possible within 2018, yes may happen in NO TIME.
We all hope that the value of Bitcoin will increase as more people are coming to invest their money in crypto currency particularly Bitcoin and i strongly believe that the prediction is not far from the truth which will happen in no time.
A lot of economic experts where claiming that bitcoin will fall or it's pyramid and bla bla bla but what happened? Their authority must went from high to low but somehow that's not happening. To be fair they try how much power do they (their words) have and since bitcoin isn't that much popular in people, they still remain experts (in reality at least they lie).

It's really great to see bitcoin at that high next year. Is that imagination will be forever as imagination or not? Well, to see is to believe, to experience is to believe. Let's wait for this to happen.
I hope so too, so many new people who are interested in the world of crypto (bitcoin). but, in my opinion it is still too early to discuss the price in 2019 later. we the users, investors and markets, should focus first on the price in 2018 later, so the price at the end of the year will burst again as happened in 2017 ago. Well, I can wait for this moment and I will keep on holding my bitcoin because I know bitcoin is amazing and it can go higher that anyone's prediction so basically it will be worth waiting for. Don't just listen to any speculation easily, prove it on your own.

I don't know about $20k by the end of 2018, honestly. We have seen that the psychological barrier (and a solid sell wall) at the $10k mark, as well as the overall bearish sentiment in the market has kept prices low, and I don't think that's going to change just yet. The recovery will take some time, as the bull market last year was extremely long and prices went up by many multiples.
But, $36k by the start of 2020 seems possible to me.
It's nothing crazy like the $1 million by 2020 that John McAfee is predicting, and I think that 2019 will be the start of a market wide recovery. Thus, with the right market conditions, it's definitely doable.
Many experts speculating the price of bitcoin ever since but the truth is price is hard to speculate unpredictable. No one knows indeed but happy if by year 2019 bitcoin price can go up to $36k or more. Everyone of us are waiting for btc price to soar hoping this year a roll up of btc price may experience.
