Bitcoin price slipped to $ 7,800
Many experts have foresaw Bitcoin's downturn as all eyes are on Golden Week * in China. However, when the Chinese return to the cryptocurrency market this week, will they decide to buy at the current bottom? Or will they continue to stand out of the game to watch the support break down?

(* Golden Week is a policy applied in China since 1999 for two important holidays: Chinese New Year and National Day (October 1). Before 2007, Chinese people also had a "Golden Week". "Tuesday is International Labor Day May 1.)

The prices fluctuates very frequent in this highly volatile currency and this time they are below $8000 and might go down as the predictions are there so its not time to discuss prices but this is oppurtunity for the investors as momentum can be shifted towards them and they can enjoy profit when the prices go high.We hope that the market hits bull run soon after the correction so HODL.

The price still changes from a few hours ago. I see that the price can back to $8k, and now, it breaks $81xx and still going strong. I hope that the price doesn't go lower and still increase from this week. Maybe we will see another correction if the price can reach $8200, but the price will grow more. I just hope that there is no bad news that will come out as it could make the price will go down again. But it is interesting to see the price can move fast at the market, although the order buys and order sell is not filled so quickly.

I don't think it will bounce back to 8500$ as the strong resistance is still around 7200$ so we might see a drop at that price soon. It was predictable as soon as it dropped below 10k$ , what are we talking about ? Chart pointed to that direction as there were no strong buy orders in this area and it slowly build in the 7000$ zone. However this is a great moment to speculate the market and make some investments as for now it seems that we won't drop below 7k$.

It's shifting from $7900 to $8100 I don't think it will go down to the $7000 like what one post predicted, we are  just over three months to go in 2019 and there's not much improvement on the price, quite surprising to think that Bitcoin halving is just next year, it's still bearish like what happen last year, I wonder what will happen if this same situation persists in the first quarter of the year.
We really have different scenario every year.

Bitcoin was 7.9k dollars earlier today but now it started to increase and reached 8.1k dollars already. My guess is that Bitcoin might continue like this and reach maximum 8.3k dollars. After that it might fall back again to 8k.

There were some expectations about this decrease from 10k but I wasn't expecting that so soon. Bitcoin continues to go around 7900 dollars and I think if Bitcoin ETF is not accepted by SEC, Bitcoin might stay around these prices for months.

the only problem is that investors are again deciding to stay out and watch the market future unravel first before they make their investment. many of those are the sellers who sold on top and are waiting for entry. this means we will continue seeing this trend slowly continue and soon see a reversal which will shoot the price up as all of them rush back to buy bitcoin.
this has nothing to do with China or anything else. this is how the market has been working for a long time now. look at earlier this year when price came out of $3k price.

Big deal. It dropped $200 sure whatever. We don't need another separate conversation every time bitcoin drops a few dollars as if we're not used to the volatility already.

EDIT: 4 hours later, bitcoin is now back to $8,150. Maybe you should create another topic for that?  Roll Eyes

Lol, "golden week", it seems some people think that every move can be tracked back to Chinese holidays or Chinese magical numbers on hindsight. When it's going down, it's China's fault, when up, the Wallstreet is buying. Smiley. I wan't new meme excuses already for reasoning a catalyst.

The price today has marked its low near $7900. There are more price predictions stating that this will go low to $6000. For all users who are into plans of buying bitcoin can now begin to buy for the upcoming years profiting. By now there is some growth in the world market in comparison to the past months. This trend should have some positive impact upon the cryptocurrency network, but for some reason this time the market has crashed a little.

I wonder how strong the prediction that it will go to the $6000 and what is the cause of why it will go down to that level when the momentum should be strong going to the next Bitcoin halving, it's not up to investors if how they are going to take this situation but for me it's an opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin, but if the price is indeed going down, you may want to not buy on certain price because who knows the floor on this slid of price.

You only gain or loose money when you sell. you will get people telling you to sell but look at the long game no one seriously expects bitcoin to be less than $50,000 in 5 years and while nothing is guaranteed when you add the reduced supply, a greater infrastructure and demand the chances are its going up. thereby no matter how much you bought its a waiting game, at some point in the future you will feel very smart. It doesn't matter that bitcoin or whatever goes down or up. When nothing fundamental changes you shouldn't sell bitcoin or whatever.

Many experts have foresaw Bitcoin's downturn
nobody has predicted this "downtrend" apart from those who are always seeing drops at all times no matter what. some expected drops but not a trend.

bitcoin market is a global 24/7 market and you don't leave it to come back! besides you have to believe it is the "bottom" to buy it. right now the market is scared of the drop and the manipulation and the decision of investors like always is to wait until it is over.
you also seem to be stuck in 2013 having some illusions about China's market size and its effect on the price...

China still is making the big moves. About downtrend no one really predicted but you could see coming a slow down in volume and volatility lead to dump after descending triangle.
