we are just one eighth of the predicted price and for 2016 am pretty sure we not going to be any where near the 4000 mark but I have faith in the system one day we are certainly going to to reach $4000 per bitcoin...
i am not thinking that price will reach 4000$ but i think i will reach atleast 2000$ . since no one can accurately say that what price will be but in my openion the price will be above of 2000$.
I see no reason for bitcoin to go upto $2k USD anytime soon as it has not yet reached $600. Even I don't know whether the bitcoin price will achieve the $1k level by December 2016.I also will do agree with you there is no solid reason to surpass $2000 within this year, first we have to reach $1000 than will think about the next level, but the fact is that cryptocurrency is very unpredictable in various form, anyway it will be nice to get $1000 this time before end of this year.

new users mostly don't have much money for investing purposes as they are here mainly to farm faucets and to collect signature campaign payments. we need trader type of people that actually bring in good money to take a position in bitcoin. that's how we will see the price go up higher.
Yeah we want inflow of fresh money in higher amount in bitcoin and if that happens then we can see major boost in the price in quick time.
There is no fresh flow of money into the bitcoin. So the price of bitcoin is low. The new money went to Ethreum, Monero and Dash.

In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000 then dropped to $200 & steady for a long time

Now it is a good time for judgement that what is happening after halving. I read a huge people predict the bitcoin's price after halving. So now time has come, but bitcoin is not come at $4000, and i also can't see bitcoin would be come at $4000 in this year.
i am sure that bitcoin will be come cross $4000 the next halving year. Also now bitcoin is going down, but it will be increased in the next few months and i am certain bitcoin never cross $1000.

Even though some may sell there coins as of now but for sure many would see bitcoins price as of now as an opportunity to buy more. As you said bitcoin is just testing our patience since long time. $1k mark would be very hard since we are just stuck up at $500+ but as we expect it would gradually increase it price but the question is when?

The halving is done and after the halving the price still at a good price around -+$600. I think it's a bit high for $4000. $4000 is too much and i don't think the bitcoin's price can reach it.

The thing is, there is a big disconnect between what speculators price into a market re: supply cut, and when the supply cut actually begins to substantially affect the market. I think it's entirely possible that speculators fueled this rally, and that we could continue to experience a continuation of the 2014 bear market. Perhaps the supply effects will set in a couple years from now.

Nope. I think 5 Years from now. But we dont know acctually. What if investors stop investing 3 years from now ? Maybe bitcoin will drop into 2$. But we dont know. But thats only my prediction. 5 Years from now, Bitcoin price will try to reach the amount of 4000$.
I'd rather think there are no investors, first and foremost its the real users of the coins that matter. You can only invest in something which actually going to be useful, is bitcoin useful in 5 years from now ? I do see its importance rising as US dollar is tied to politics and the debt issues of just one country of its origin, the USA. So bitcoin is useful globally to avoid this politics self harm to every user of that currency, I hope bitcoin can avoid politics and damage by its proponents. Where as Dollars are biased, it has no choice but to serve fiscal policy of the next president and so hobbling the other 5 billion people in the world who are effected but have no influence
If bitcoin stays true and neutral in a world lobsided to past debts then it should keep improving, the price should rise as we have many more future users then actual coins available via market supply or via the block reward which of course halved but really was only ever a minor factor imo
That's day dreaming. Reaching to $4k is not an easy task and the market cap will not support this price. By the end of 2016 we may see bitcoin price may touch $750 to $800 level. But $4k will take a long time.

Yup its not that easy to achieve that huge value in short span of time, it will surely take long time to reach there and again there is no guarantee that we will see that price in future.
