As most of my wonderful addresses are with now defunct exchanges just know a lot of cash is going nowhere fast.....

I know there are many member's accounts which private keys are gone. I need to think if there is anything we can do in this respect that could help and suggestions are always welcome.

As soon as the service has been completely migrated to the new infrastructure we can start the talk about the next steps. I hope I can count on you to keep (and improve) this service.

BitcoinPonziOrg, I've sent you a PM over 35 hours ago but didn't get a reply.

If you changed your mind - no problem, just let me know please, your bet will be disqualified and the winner will be bitcoinpyramid.

If you don't contact me by February 04 00:00:00 UTC, I'll consider you changed your mind.

Well, I hope BitcoinPonziOrg didn't pay his bid.

@arsenische, I will be waiting for the news.

I looked more carefully at the specs of the suggested server and now I see that it might be not good enough to run bitcoind since bitcoin blockchain is now alsmost as big as its SSD. So it  might require a better server or perhaps we could switch to some other solution. E. g. if we use blockchain.info wallet then a cheaper server would be good enough. If you already have bitcoind-capable server then there is no problem.

minimum increment?

let it be 0.01 btc

My real identity was disclosed to arsenische. In fact we have been talking about what could be done in order to improve the site lately.

I can confirm that I've been contacted by bitcointalk user whom I would trust to run the Pyramid. That user promised to create a new anonymous bitcointalk account to participate in auction.

Do you really want to risk selling the domain that you have cultivated for 3+ years to someone who will likely turn out to be a scammer

When I started Bitcoin was not so serious as it is now. It was an experiment and governments didn't try to regulate or ban it. I don't want to deal with regulation and I don't have enough enthusiasm to promote and develop this service. It will die a slow death if nobody takes it over.

The pyramid is transparent and doesn't hold much money, its daily database dumps are public. I assume there is not much space for scamming here since typical amounts are small and fraud can be quickly identified by pyramid members.

This site looks a lot like another ponzi site. Do you really want to risk selling the domain that you have cultivated for 3+ years to someone who will likely turn out to be a scammer

Why did you register a new account for the sole purposes of bidding?

It'd be nice for people to be able to link the site to your actual bitcointalk account so that there's less fear of being scammed.

My real identity was disclosed to arsenische. In fact we have been talking about what could be done in order to improve the site lately.

But... ponzies might become a problem in my country (as well as most of the world) so I want to keep my identity secret. If I don't behave as I should arsenische can provide my details to members.
