Wow, you literally just forked QRL (https://www.theqrl.org) and didn't even care to give them a credit.
Then you placed "Bitcoin" in the name to try to get attention, generated whitepaper and texts likely using ChatGPT and published a bare minimum of misleading or completely false info on the website and here. And naturally there is no source code, even though you launched it more than 50 days ago and have been mining it privately since.

This project is a SCAM.

Thank you for posting.  It seems similar to QRL  https://www.theqrl.org/

Where can we see your source code?

We are looking for passionate partners to help expand our Bitcoin Quantum (BTQ) community. Partners will not only receive airdrops in BTQ but will also get early updates about the project and early access to our project's Github.

If you want to join us and be part of this journey, please contact us via email: [email protected]

Maybe it is a Dumb questions but :

Early access to our project's Github for supporters ?

I was thinking blockchains are decentralized and seems your project is centralized now.

Web wallet looks like your project is forked from Quantum Resistant Ledger.

Thank you for your questions and the opportunity to clarify some misunderstandings about Bitcoin Quantum (BTQ).

Decentralization vs. Centralization: It's important to understand that early access to our project's Github does not imply centralization. Early access is a common practice for projects that want to involve their community closely and gather feedback before making everything public. The ultimate goal is still to open-source the project fully, ensuring that it remains decentralized in its governance and operation. The blockchain itself operates on decentralized principles, and governance will shift to a community-led model as the project matures.

Similarity to Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL), Inspiration, and Economic Model: BTQ draws significant inspiration from the Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL), particularly in adopting quantum-resistant cryptography. Beyond QRL, we have incorporated a wide array of ideas and technological concepts from other leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and more, to enhance our platform's robustness and utility. These influences extend into areas like smart contract functionality, governance models, and scalability solutions, ensuring a well-rounded and innovative approach. One of the standout features of BTQ is the integration of the XMSS algorithm, a quantum-resistant signature scheme that has received approval from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This not only emphasizes our commitment to maintaining a secure and future-proof blockchain but also highlights our focus on incorporating cutting-edge technologies that address future challenges in the crypto space. Our economic model, designed to position BTQ as digital gold, aims to provide a reliable store of value and a hedge against inflation, ensuring stability and long-term value retention. By recognizing pioneering projects and integrating a broad spectrum of blockchain innovations, we underscore our commitment to delivering a comprehensive and secure digital currency.

Open-source Code: Transparency is crucial for trust in the crypto community. Our plan includes making the source code publicly available once certain milestones are reached. This is to ensure that the code meets high standards of security and functionality before wide release. We understand the importance of transparency, and detailed timelines for open-sourcing will be shared with our community and partners as they are finalized.

Use of AI Tools: The use of tools like ChatGPT in drafting documents or communications is part of modern digital practices. This does not undermine the authenticity or the originality of our project. It ensures that we communicate effectively and efficiently. Our whitepaper and other texts are generated by our team, with AI used as a tool for enhancing the quality and clarity of the information we present.

Project Legitimacy and Mining Practices: It's crucial to address concerns about legitimacy head-on. BTQ has been transparent about its mining practices. All addresses minting from block 0 will be transparently publicized, ensuring full transparency of the genesis and subsequent mining activities. Additionally, all coins mined earlier by BTQ developers are designated for airdrops, marketing, listings, partnerships, etc., to foster community growth and project visibility. We refute claims of "privately mining." The mining started openly as per the timelines shared with our community. Our emissions and reward structures are designed to ensure fairness and long-term sustainability, detailed on our official channels.

Future Plans and Rewards: In the coming period, we will announce our plans for allocating BTQ Coin and our activities related to airdrops, marketing, and more. Contributions on forums and through collaboration plans can be made via email at [email protected]. Active participants and contributors will receive BTQ rewards as a token of appreciation and incentive for their engagement. Specifically, accounts contributing to discussions on forums like BitcoinTalks and AltcoinTalks will have their contributions publicly acknowledged and will receive bounties from the project transparently.

We invite anyone interested in deeper engagement or looking for more detailed information to reach out directly via our official email. We appreciate constructive feedback and are here to provide any clarifications needed.

Uptime: 51d 15h 34min

2 months after you launch the network and premine it with the gang, you bother to post a public ann?

DoA.

Such a long uptime is a sign that the network is stable and continuously operational. We wanted to ensure that the system was thoroughly tested and stable before making a public announcement. This was done to guarantee safety and the best experience for users when they join the network.

All the coins mined by the pool will be used for the airdrop plan to ensure fair distribution and encourage community participation. We always listen to feedback and will continue to improve to meet the needs of the community.

I initially though you wanted to say cryptography rather than cryptocurrency. But it turns out you're here just to promote altcoin which isn't suitable for this board (Project Development).

I understand your concern and appreciate your feedback. My intention was to provide detailed information about BTQ, focusing on its unique technological aspects and development decisions. However, I see how this could be perceived as promoting an altcoin, which might not be suitable for this specific board dedicated to project development. I'm here to contribute constructively and ensure the discussion aligns with the board's objectives. Thank you for your understanding and guidance!

BTQ is considered a coin rather than an altcoin. The term "coin" refers to a cryptocurrency that operates on its own independent blockchain, just like Bitcoin (BTC). BTQ has its own blockchain, utilizing advanced quantum-resistant security measures and unique features such as a dual-mining approach and an extended emission schedule.

Altcoins, on the other hand, are typically used to describe cryptocurrencies that are alternatives to Bitcoin. While technically, BTQ can be categorized as an altcoin in the broader sense (since it is an alternative to Bitcoin), it is more precise to refer to it as a coin because it operates on its own distinct blockchain rather than relying on another blockchain, like Ethereum-based tokens do.

So, BTQ is a coin with its own independent blockchain.
You are contradicting yourself. Bitcoin is bitcoin. Other coins are called altcoins. You explained it yourself and yet contradicting your explanation.

Often times, such attempts to promote shitcoin happens and posting in bitcoin projects development for them is another way to gain audience,  but we keep disputing them, reported the thread already.

Its funny that you did that even though this was clearly listed in the altcoin section,

This is not about bitcoin but about another shit coin that its developers wants to make bitcoin to make it popular. This thread belongs to altcoin discussions.

There have been so many altcoins and shit coins that are quantum resisting. Such coins have been existing since many years ago. So you have nothing new.

If quantum computers are likely about to become a threat to bitcoin existence, bitcoin developers know what to do to avoid the threat by making bitcoin resistant to quantum computers.

Bitcoin BTC Quantum (BTQ): A Quantum-Resistant Cryptocurrency

BTQ is a state-of-the-art cryptocurrency, blending Bitcoin's trusted economic framework with advanced quantum-resistant security measures. It maintains a total supply of 21 million units, echoing Bitcoin’s limited availability. BTQ differentiates itself by employing a dual-mining approach: it utilizes the CPU-friendly RandomX algorithm and extends support to GPU mining with Cryptonight cn/0. This combination makes mining more inclusive and reduces the risk of hardware centralization. The emission of BTQ is uniquely planned over approximately 1000 years, with a 5% decrease in block rewards every 525,600 blocks, fostering long-term sustainability and market stability. Furthermore, BTQ is advancing its technology with the development of a Proof-of-Stake system, positioning itself to remain resilient and efficient in the evolving landscape of blockchain technology amidst quantum computing developments.

What is BTQ ?
BTQ is a cutting-edge Bitcoin ledger designed to withstand quantum computing threats by incorporating Extended Merkle Signature Scheme (XMSS) technology. This stateful, hash-based signature scheme enhances BTQ's security, making it quantum-resistant and ensuring that transactions remain secure against potential quantum attacks. By using XMSS, BTQ provides a robust platform for Bitcoin transactions, safeguarding them with one-time signatures and forward secrecy. Ideal for future-proofing against advancements in quantum computing, BTQ stands as a resilient and efficient solution in the evolving landscape of blockchain technology.

What is XMSS ?
XMSS, which stands for Extended Merkle Signature Scheme, is a cryptographic signature method that is part of a group known as stateful hash-based cryptographic signatures. These types of signatures are significant because they offer security proofs against attacks using quantum computers, making them quantum-resistant.

The "stateful" aspect of XMSS refers to the fact that it must keep track of which parts of its internal state (specifically, which key pairs) have been used for signing, to ensure that each key is only used once. This is crucial because reusing keys can compromise the security of the system.

XMSS uses a combination of cryptographic hash functions and a tree structure similar to a Merkle tree to generate a large but finite number of one-time signatures from a single key pair. Each time a signature is created, a part of this tree is used, and the state is updated to reflect what has been utilized.

How to mining ?
BTQ embraces a hybrid mining approach, utilizing the CPU-friendly RandomX Proof-of-Work alongside GPU mining with the Cryptonight cn/0 algorithm. This combination ensures accessibility and efficiency, allowing miners to use both CPUs and GPUs to contribute to network security. RandomX is optimized for CPU performance, making it inclusive for miners without specialized hardware. Cryptonight cn/0 extends compatibility to GPU rigs, broadening participation and enhancing the decentralization of mining efforts. Together, these technologies support BTQ’s vision of a secure, quantum-resistant, and inclusive mining ecosystem.

This method is seen as a strong candidate for post-quantum cryptography, which aims to develop cryptographic systems that remain secure even in the presence of powerful quantum computers. It has been standardized for certain applications, including by the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) in RFC 8391.

Bitcoin BTC Quantum (BTQ) is a new cryptocurrency designed to combine the reliable features of Bitcoin with advanced quantum-resistant security, promising a secure and sustainable cryptocurrency solution for the future. Here are some highlights and key features of Bitcoin Quantum:

1. Quantum-resistant Infrastructure
BTQ is developed with the aim of providing a higher level of security against threats from quantum computing. This currency uses quantum-resistant cryptography to ensure the security of user transactions and assets.

2. Dual Mining Algorithms
BTQ adopts a dual mining approach, utilizing both CPU and GPU. The RandomX algorithm is optimized for CPU use, while Cryptonight cn/0 is chosen for GPU, enhancing efficiency and fairness in mining processes.

3. Preventing Centralization of Power
BTQ focuses on minimizing the risk of mining centralization, a problem observed in many other blockchain networks. This approach aims to create a more diverse and decentralized mining environment.

4. Total Supply and Emission
The total supply of BTQ is 21 million units, similar to Bitcoin. This helps maintain value and prevent inflation. Every 525,600 blocks, the BTQ block reward decreases by 5%, promoting long-term stability and sustainability in the market.

5. Public Addresses and Asset Management
BTQ's public addresses start with the letter "Q" to emphasize its distinction from traditional Bitcoin. Users can manage their assets through the BTQ Web Wallet, an easy-to-use web interface that allows for secure transactions and asset management.

6. Strong Support for Nodes
BTQ supports the setup and operation of individual nodes, ensuring decentralization and enhancing security for the network. BTQ node IP addresses are widely distributed globally, optimizing network speed and reliability.

Bitcoin Quantum is not just a cryptocurrency but a step forward in blockchain technology development, aimed at addressing current and future challenges in the cryptocurrency industry. With a combination of tradition and innovation, BTQ promises to become a significant asset in the portfolios of investors and cryptocurrency users.
