Why do people want more and more and more from bitcoin constantly when it is already giving us so much. Some people may have missed the train and they didn't make profit and they want to buy bitcoin now and sell at 20k+ in order to make similar amount of profit which is why they keep asking if bitcoin will be 20k+ or not.

However do people not realize that in just span of few months we have profited 50%+ from bitcoin already? We have moved from 10k to 15k+ range already and that is already something awesome, why do we must continue to want more than 20k+ as well? Why can't we just enjoy that we have made 50%+ profit and focus on that part? As long as we are not happy and enjoy the things we already have, we are not going to have more things to enjoy in the future.

Many experts are predicting considerable price increases, up to $100K in 2021. While not impossible, I doubt that we'll see such values in the near future. However, $20K is definitely possible by the end of the year.
It might be soon to hit $100k, but maybe not in 2021 (still to early imo). there will be cycle price and fluctuations again after bitcoin hit the new ATH, that's my predictions. but all good, and $20k at the end of the year is very likely to happens since bitcoin already have huge momentum with Paypal announcement

We’ll hit a new all time high before Q2 of 2021 in my opinion. The reduction in supply of newly mined coins will begin to show by then as it has after previous halvings. It’s going to be a wild ride in 2021 like nothing any financial asset has seen before.

I also support your statement, because Bitcoin halving has done, the right price for bitcoin in 2021 is $ 50k,
Q1 2021 will probably be around $ 20k - $ 25k, this is just speculation, I believe Bitcoin will go to the moon,
But there is something we have to observe, in 2021 I think the world will be calm because the vaccine is 80% complete.

But still, no sign is telling us about that, and I guess that is more than speculation from people. But bitcoin can jump to the moon in the next year, and bitcoin has a big chance to increase higher. There are many possibilities to see bitcoin will start other big rallies. Perhaps, before the end of this year, the bitcoin price will have the time to increase and break $19k-$20k.

We will see many times fluctuating the price, so we need to be ready and prepare our money. Perhaps, we will get more chances to buy bitcoin at a low price to be added to our wallet and waiting for the next high price. I am sure people are waiting for the $20k because that means they can recover their losses before, and they will have a chance to make a profit.

Within couple of days Bitcoin went bullish with newest peak of $15,596 last Friday. Analysts have already started predicting the next big move that could possibly push Bitcoin above its all-time high of $20,000. Will that happen before this year ends?

Read article:

Bitcoin (BTC) Smashes Past $15,500 With Ethereum (ETH) Leading The Altcoins Party

I already read the article, maybe there's still a chance we can't depends on the prediction we can always depends to those who pump the bitcoin and push towards the future of the price. We hope all that before this years end since we had this kind of pandemic and after the election in the U.S maybe there's a big pump happening in bitcoin.

It is likely to happen if we look at the current market optimism that the price of bitcoin is already experiencing a very significant increase.
Bitcoin has been very bullish since there was news that big companies were adopting bitcoin. In addition to PayPal there are still American
companies that buy very large bitcoins. This makes bitcoin even higher in price.
People’s confidence in bitcoin is increasing drastically, hopefully, this can help raise the price of bitcoin to $20k.

20,000$ looks too much to be hit in so short time. Actually 15,000$ is already a positive surprise for bitcoin holders this year.
It would be nice if the price stays stable on this range for a while, so we could start to think in higher levels such as 20,000$. I say this because a fast pump followed by a even faster and deeper dump isn't good for bitcoin propaganda on the internet. At same time it opens an opportunity to buy for cheap price, what is good, it also discourage potential investors, what is harmful for crypto environment.

Well, we are in November already, just the last two months left and this year is over. This is not the first time that analysts are predicting the price of Bitcoin, they did that in the past years and they were all wrong, although I have the feelings that things are going to be different this year, because right from time I have been looking forward to the particular year that there will be a halving and that’s this year.

So, we should be expecting something different to happen this year. The price is just $5000 away from the last all time high price of $20,000. We might get into December and there will be a huge pump that will lead the price above that.

Can we reach $20k before 2021? Maybe, maybe not.
I think the chances are good but we can't guarantee that it will, which is why being speculative is probably the best.

But one thing's for sure, stop listening to these so-called "analysts" as most of them don't know what they're talking about.

I agree, no "analyst" can foretell what will happen and it can be easy to be mislead by people with biased opinions. Skepticism at time may save you a lot

of stress. So why would you start believing what one person predicts? Just because someone is 'wearing' a particular hat doesn't necessarily mean they

know what they're talking about.

No one knows because even if the price do really behave on that way it doesn't really give out any guarantees that we would really be heading there.
Indeed, there's no guarantee if the value will continue and keep it as strong as what we are seeing right now, even there are  lots
of speculations about this bullish run. Most of the traders are waiting and trying to work it out for their favor, some might buy and
hold for long term investment while others are going to ride with the train and try to short it out in hope that they'll be compensated
and earned decent from this current market movements.

Quote
Its still always been a question if we would be breaking up or touching out that ATH soon but somewhat its an assurance that we would really be heading there.
There's no exact timeframe but the possibilities are high if we are seeing all those positive indications, there are lots of potentials that
the market will touch or surpass the last time high.

Quote
For now its not that right to rush up to see those numbers as of this year, maybe in next year or on next next ones.We shouldn't really hurry out yet we do need
a stable and gradual increase which cant really be easily crashed.
Much better to think of that, much solid foundation much better barrier is very important, from that we won't we worrying that
it will fall more once again.

Nah, not yet. It was dumped once again.  Wink

This hype is still from the Paypal new feature.
I am hoping for a new bottom rather than the $20k mark.
You see, even if it hits ATH like that amount then it will just dive again to a lower number so it doesn't really gain value.
More like just being manipulated by something else.

I feel like Bitcoin could finally reach $20K again soon because of the current bull run.
I was expecting the price to be around $15K on late December but it already made it pass $15K now so I feel kinda hype right now and expecting it to reach $20K soon.
It is better to not assume by the end of the year but, just like what I'm thinking that there's likely that $20k can be hit very soon. The assumption of $20k is what makes everyone hype about it.

But you know what makes people keeps on holding it? higher than that price although it's different from the question of OP. However we have to reach that price that first or those next prices after $15k to be confident we'll see bitcoin reach that price.

The stock market has already launched probably because Biden has been elected. I'm expecting the bitcoin market to follow. I'm sure that a lot of stock market profits are pouring into Bitcoin and vice-versa. But as Bitcoin is mostly viewed as a long-term wealth appreciation asset the equation is probably in its favor.

Furthermore, once Bitcoin passes the $20k milestone it will enter into price discovery mode so there are big chances we'll see a giant movement.

It is very likely, considering that one of the biggest factors that drive the market is emotions, now in the world many things are happening, the covid-19, also the effect that the US elections have, which, I think that this is one of the reasons why bitcoin is rising in price.

Yes, bitcoin can reach $ 20k and without being in a bullish trend, perhaps investors are waiting for the best time for this December and we have a much juicier increase.

My answer is no. Too many elements are affecting bitcoin right now. Moreover, many people do not have money to invest bitcoin at this moment. The economy is trying to be stable like it was before. $20000 will likely to happen in the next year. The first quarter of 2021 will be a good time for any asset to go up. The bull is currently controling the trend. But it is not as strong as 2017 and I do not expect bitcoin to act like it used to be. The slower the train, the less volatile it will be.

From what I understood from few whales I regularly talk with, is that 20K might happen next year around May, but of course it's all speculation and a wild west in the crypto world. Even if it reaches 20K, I think It will drop down heavily between the 11k - 13k mark. The BTC graph is not healthy at all... it's all FOMO and market manipulation so I kinda agree with your opinion.

One user said that after BTC crosses $20K, that's when the party starts. I guess right now is not the time yet to celebrate.

There is nothing that I feel. Back in 2017, it already felt very satisfying when we see the price of BTC hitting the $3K. Altcoin teams are already giving away more than the allocated coins for bounty campaigns. Institutional investors have to seal it, need more money to come into crypto.
