Site is nice and all, but i have some specific grudges -
1) no e-sports - this is my main focus @betting
2) the "direct bet" feature when you use your btc address directly instead of having an account has its advantages. But when you need to place like 10-20 straight bets - it can be somewhat annoying for sure.
So overall interface could be improved, other than that, and not having e-sports, i have no complaints.

Right around the time I started looking for a BTC book, I came across this thread. After seeing the positive reviews for this site, I decided to give it a try. Now, this is my preferred bitcoin book by far (and is slowly transitioning on becoming my second book overall). It offers many nice features, while at the same time offering anonymous betting.
They offer a lot of options for many of the popular events (like SNF/MNF), and they also offer at least the basic lines for many of the major games. On top of that, you can negotiate odds, settlements are quick, all while linking only a BTC payout address.
As for offered odds, they are very close to Vegas odds, and for those few times that the offered odds aren't, they are fine with arbitrage betting (I haven't had my bet rejected when I took an arbitrage opportunity).
Best of all, the process is so, so, so, painless. It really is no muss, no fuss, no hassles.
I highly recommend DirectBet.eu as either a supplementary book or a primary book.

I just used direct bet and although I lost my bet I was really happy that I didn't have to go through any nonsense of making an account, depositing, etc, etc, etc. I really like the system where you can simply bet by sending to an address and then auto-payout if you win.

Because the betting works very well there with older browser like IE 8.0. I tried few other betting sites in IE 8.0, but never fully working. I will not give lower score to these sites, but they should think how to reduce fancy stuff and make it compatible for older browsers

I know I cannot prove this but this is why I don't trust "Live" Casino Sites. I had about $100 to start. I have a method that I use in Vegas that I can turn $100 in to $600, playing Roulette, about 1 in 4 tries. So, I was playing and was up to $400 and usually I bet $125 on 1st 12, 2nd 12, or 3rd 12. When I am at $400. If I hit, I'm above $600 and I leave, if not, I'm still at $260+, and I play it again... if that doesn't hit, I play the same, one last time and if I lose I am broke as I also bet $1 each on my 8 lucky #'s every spin.
It was a live dealer and so this happens as I am watching. I was betting 1st 12 and the first roll was a 26... I bet $125, my 8#'s and they spin again. I'd say this happened in the final 33% of the spin, the video got choppy and froze. My bet had been placed. I waited for the screen to come back and after a minute it hadn't so I refreshed and sure enough my money was back in the balance and the last spin was a 1, which is also my #. So, What should have been $520ish was $267. That was when I took it all out and I don't play there anymore except for live sports. No complaints on the sports betting.

Since a while I use Nitrogen as my main BTC bookie. I'm back into sportsbetting after a break due other time consuming activities. I read a lot of stats and doing research before making my bets. I'm close to 300 bets now on Nitro (always betting the same stake) and made a good profit.
The bookie:
- fast deposits and withdrawals;
- website is fast (browsing);
- website is easy to navigate;
- wide variety of sports and betting options;
- very friendly costumer service - also responding to questions on the forum;
- chat box available with overall friendly people;
- odds are pretty good;
- no live betting.
On the website you will only see your recent transactions. You can set the cashier emails on, but I like to see all my transactions on the website and not only the ones from the last week. Maybe not a big issue, but I want to mention it.
For some people it can be a disappointment that there is no live betting platform. Lately I'm not that much into live betting, so it's no big deal for me, but still I like to see live betting on a bookie.
However, I think this sportsbook belongs to the top of the Bitcoin bookies. I like Directbet as well, but you cannot compare those two, because they are too different from each other. Nitro seems very reliable and you can read on the forum that most people are happy with this bookie.

Are you allowing a 1 month old account to contribute to your scoring?
I play at Direct bet (occasionally) and there is no way it is a 5 rated book..
Just saying; you may want to take a look at post history of some of these newer accounts.
Otherwise, what's to prevent books from paying people to spam?
Hey, directbet is a great site! What did you vote for and why directbet is so inferior?
Worst odds, worst interface, most bets rejected to name a few. If you don't want to keep money in a book, then just use a book with instant deposits, make your bet and you know then if the odds have changed. With Directbet, you make a bet, it's rejected most of the time and you have to wait for one confirmation to get your money back. Now that many books have live betting there's no reason to play into their lines. DB does have good customer service but that's because they have to fix a problem every day.
