Today i was surfing through the Internet and found something like this:

What should i think of this?
Does this work?
And how can i be safe from viruses like this?
Is this legal?

This seems really serious. I'd recommend deleting this thread immediately so this exploit doesn't spread any more and contacting the developers in the pages above.

Are you stupid? Writing a script to copy wallet.dat to an FTP server is not a "serious exploit".

Careful all - this is probably an attempt to get you to download this. Probably a install a keylogger or some shit on your system.

OP is a liar who forgets his lies. One of his previous posts he's from Germany, and another he's from the Ukraine. This is also his second post trying to get people to download a program.

I am from germany lulz. Show me a post where i said i am from germany?

I also just tried to warn you, nothing more.

Here:
Sorry, im from germany and i dont have the best english. What do u mean with your post?

Also, your post was more of an inquiry versus a warning. That's what makes it seem suspect btw.

Guys the title is quite self explanatory..

It sits on your computer and steals your wallet.. probably sending it via FTP to a server, if you're going to fall for such a blatant scam well..

Just don't download it

I don't think it's a lie though. I'm sure IT DOES steal your wallet and sends a copy to OP, just in case

lol, you're right Smiley

A bit too late. I downloaded the file and tried it on a Virtual Machine.
I was a bit surprised but it worked.
I could type in FTP Data and so on but i think im going to stay away from that.
I dont think its legal.

Hey use a dummy wallet you set up to tell us if it works.
If it does we should inform the developers that such a thing exists!

Hey, i just did it. And it worked. My Wallet got uploaded on my ftp server! I could easily download it and add it to my multibit client.

How to or where can i inform the developers?

LOOOOLLL HAHAHA how funny !!!
Edit: Oh man! Can't stop myself from laughing each time I read that line  Grin

Anyways OP, just...just stay away from that video if you want your good, don't even touch the download link. Maybe you'd get your wallet stolen if it turns out to be a trojan.
