We should not encourage vandalism as a way of advertising Bitcoin.

Might be the gas station accepts bitcoin or some did that just to publicize bitcoin.

The created logo is totally different from official one, which looks weird. Why don't you use the official one and it makes us look familiar.

what do you mean people wont recognize it I did?

Well lets say if you were to post this at a gas station and a manager comes out and see's what it is if they don't know the coin they will just remove the sticker. You will need a campaign for something like that so they won't remove the sticker. But i still think the idea would be better on cars.

So you're putting those stickers at places in order to promote Bitcoin... that might not be a very good idea. I don't think they'll think about adopting it if you're plastering them everywhere without consent. Also bitcoin.comUndecided Undecided Undecided
bitcoin.com works now.

Yeah just checked the address. Sure, it works, but I was merely pointing out that if you're really supporting a decentralized an open project, you may want to go with the .org address. But as I see, the .com address actually looks pretty sleek and isn't only hogged by a single company.
Both domains work, but they are two different websites. Bitcoin.com is run by blockchain.info who is somewhat attempting to profit from the website by promoting their own services and selling ads. Bitcoin.org on the other hand gives a much more neutral view of the various wallet services and attempts to give a very high level explanation as to how bitcoin works. I think the .org domain is much better site to be promoting if you want to promote bitcoin.

Are you posting at gas stations that already accept bitcoin? I hope so. If not, I think you could engender some very counterproductive sentiments.  Kind of like splashing brand graffiti in places it's unwanted.

Exactly. If I owned a store and saw a sticker on the pumps I'd scrape it off.

i have a picture i wanted to show on this forum post i cant figure out how to post it though, it isn't as easy as cut copy paste apparently

Upload it to imgur, get the picture's link(the one that has only the picture), then insert it here, between [IMG] tags.

Might want to check with the store owners first.  I know most places are required to only have approved signage up at a pump which is set by the pump owner (Exxon, etc).  They will probably get taken off as soon as someone notices them.
