IMHO it will boost economy of those countries who will legalize it first and provide it with all needed support.
For now I don't think that bitcoin can boost the regional economy. Although bitcoin is popular but only a number of people adopted btc as their investment which can't demonstrate the true effect of btc to the economy of a certain region.
But I don't see any point how bitcoin is helping the economy of world or how it will change the face of economy within a specific country.
From my angle, I view this position as bitcoin being a new investment area and if it is an investing opportunity, that means it can provide another investment for people to make money. When people of a country are having means to generate income, it gets them happy, shifting majority of the youths out from social vices.
First, it will reduce crime, it will grow the gdp of the country because the government would have lesser vices to combat which obviously would reduce wastages.
Second, if the government have lesser financial wastages, monies would be channelled into social amenities and other meaningful projects - thereby, creating better standard of living.

Not totally boost the economy instead its help by individual financial problem, let say this is you source of income for the whole week or month maybe but I think that's not enough for daily needs. Not for sure if this bitcoin boost the economy of countries.

Bitcoin can change the lives of a individual person as long as he/she is having perseverance in investing/trading btc. But i'm not sure if btc will boost the regional economy. It can be possible but it will becomes so hard. Because everyone does not have the skills in making business decisions and plans in connection to BTC.

I dont think Bitcoin is changing in any way the economy of a region/country because: first of all governments doesnt take any taxes from profits earned through bitcoin so the country's budget does not rise. I think that soon they are going to apply some taxes because bitcoin price is keep increasing. Also more and more people are discovering bitcoin and they invest money into it for their future.
Then there is the thing that only a few people actually use bitcoin. Yes, there are millions of people that use it but they are not in the same country, they are a few from every part of the world so this doesnt make anything to help the economy.

In my opinion,these process is not such a large scale yet,but i think its very helpful for development countries.For example the company (leader mining company) Bitfury has invested 100 million dollars in my country in Georgia.Which will contribute to the promotion of new labor relations,wich olso will prevent many social-economical problems.so my country will get from this 100 million dollars investition,place on the world map of innovative technologies and Increased number of employees.but it does not mean that bitcoin boost the regional economy yet.

If you go loan and borrow some cash it's interest is so high that most people have suffered on paying back causing their other properties to be mortgage at other banks and more sufferings will eventually come, with bitcoin we can lessen those things and continue to do business with less bank's interference.
Imagine if their government also try to use bitcoin as their tax revenue. There will be alternate income for the country that will help boost their economy so I'm wonder if some government still not legalized bitcoin yet.

Bitcoin affect the regional economy as well the bitcoin provide the opportunity to the people to get earning through this bitcoin forum. This is helping them and through this the purchasing power of the people are good thus we can say that it is improving the economy as well. Like it reduces the unemployment ratio in the economy it has decreased the poverty level up to a little bit.
