and as for bitfinex, nobody cares about their price anymore. price went above $1600 on bitstamp (didn't check other places) 6-7 hours ago.[/list]

I do not agree. The very lucky people are the altcoin investors. While Bitcoin is going up in fiat value, the altcoins are continuing to out perform Bitcoin and they keep going up in BTC value. By the end of this cycle, I believe there will be a few more millionaires made.

I saw it hit $2167 CAD on mycelium so that was pretty exciting. At the moment it's hovering around $2100 CAD. I was expecting a much bigger correction but I guess that will probably come after the ETF news on the 15th. I don't see how the decision would have changed so I'm expecting at least a 10-15% dip like last time it was declined. If it's approved we'll then we're going to te moon so no worries Wink

It did hit $1600; saw it on my Mycelium wallet, which is the bitstamp price--and then it subsequently dropped back down to $1500, and I heard even lower than that. I was asleep at the time, and I'm happy I'm not an active trader!

Good to see some mainstream media coverage of this. Gold is an old, dead dog right about now. Probably wouldn't be a bad time to buy, but bitcoin is a hell of a lot more fun.
