Even I saw it hit almost $20,000 today and right after dropped $2000 right away. This is really scary. This madness is happening too fast.
My heart was racing once I saw it top 19,000.. really thought it was not going to slow down for a second
The funny thing is that all the new people in BTC are not used to the vast volatility that BTC has. The next correction will be so huge that many of them will lose everything if they don't hold and wait. And in order to do that someone has to have the patience of the experienced crypto trader. Good luck to all and try to hold strong.

did anyone else notice the huge $2,000+ drop for a minute?
It picked right back up after a few seconds, but can only imagine it was some early investor dumping their coins??

Bitcoin jumped to 16.5 thousand dollars, it's magical, but, there will be a correction to 10-12 thousand + unknown, which will follow after December 10.
We all know the trend of things when it comes to aggressive appreciation of bitcoin price. People that are purchasing now should have in mind that bitcoin price will drop in no distance time.

I am trying to access coinbase as well but can't, the same thing appears. BTC reached to a new ATH it's really funny and crazy moment for all the people involved with BTC but at the same time this increase is now fearing me of what is going to happen next. The BTC price was expected to go high but not with such a speed that is has gone and I am sure it's is going. I am very much worried about it because it is going to damage the stock market and this may result in a worldwide ban on BTC.

They have the habit of pulling the plug exactly when a correction is about to happen. And miraculously they manage to amplify it and screw everybody that was trading at the moment. At least they are not bankrupting shorter like bitfinex did the last time.
But honestly, if you're trading right now you're already past god level, nerves and balls of adamantium so a 2000$ swing should not even mother you.I'm wondering if we're going to see a major correction before 20k or we will just go through the wall maybe even tonight.
Funny times to be a holder with all the coins safe in your wallet and no intention to sell.
I imagine the stress of the guys rushing their coins to exchange and not getting a place in the blocks.
i think it was another whale manipulation of the market. i am expecting a dump now. possibly for a short time and maybe a small percentage but a dump nonetheless.
it is a good scheme to make some quick profit anyways, you manipulate the market and then when it goes higher you start selling to cause some panic. and we know market is very ready for a mass panic now. and something like that can initiate it pretty easily.
I think the market conditions like this have often happened, raising the price to generate selling interest then when the price has gone down the big players bought up in the bottom price. it is a good scheme to make some quick profit anyways, you manipulate the market and then when it goes higher you start selling to cause some panic. and we know market is very ready for a mass panic now. and something like that can initiate it pretty easily.
But many small traders are good at reading this condition because this condition has happened so often, so the price will keep going up. I think this is to shake up the price of altcoin, because every bitcoin price rises, altcoin prices definitely fall down.

This morning made me lol. I put in sell orders in at 17k, 18k, and right above 19k (19,027) on coinbase. It was pretty hard to get orders in since their site was crashing. Knew it wouldn't sustain itself for more than a couple minutes. Or, I could be the stupid one by missing a major piece of news that hasn't hit?
BTC purchases/sales are currently suspended on Coinbase at the moment... we'll see if they actually honor the orders and transfer the $$ to my bank account...

I am not saying that Bitcoin price won't rise more but seeing this much increase in price in short time worries me a little because definitely dump is incoming sooner or later and then stupid media will damage the image of bitcoin calling it 'ponzi' again.The problem is Bitcoin price can still be manipulated by big hodlers.We still need strong adoption from people to reach stable price for long time.This adoption will take years but will eventually happen.

A dump won't be a surprise those who are following Bitcoin this year, I think before 2018 it will rise above to 20000 Usd and turn back from there to 17.000 usd. But my 2018 forecast is 100.000 Usd (not just hit and decrease, steadily stay in that line)

Bitcoin price is dropping. Going for correction IMO. It will prolly settle for $15,000 - $16,000. $40,000 in 2018 doesn't seem far away anymore
