What do you think about this feature ?
Very cool and I liked it! Though it's difficult to receive BTC tips unless your Twitter account is very active and it has a lot of active followers or clients in case you offer any services or products.

This feature will benefit many crypto influencers and it will increase activity in the crypto world by the way.

I think that it is a really great feature that Twitter has from now on. Lightning Network is being used in every transaction and this makes it even more attracting to use. People can send Bitcoin to each other from now on and this can help more people get to know about Bitcoin. Thanks to this feature, the demand for Bitcoin will increase and it can speed up the adoption process also.

This is good news , especially for content creators who use the twitter platform . Payment using bitcoin is certainly very interesting , especially when the price of bitcoin continues to rise .

Twitter themselves have a FAQ page about it, here you go.
Thank you so much on this. I have read it and it seems that they are just enabling how the people operate in the Twitterverse and integrating stuff more and more to stay within the platform, which is not a bad idea. I'm just not sure how they are going to regulate it or something like that.

It has both instructions on the off-platform thing and the one for Bitcoin through Strike. It seems pretty straightforward, though I don't think there's a minimum requirement from what I'm reading? The only really obvious requirement is that they must have tips turned on and must be 18 and above.
What I was talking about it the monetization thing that they have. I guess it's different just from tips. I think this is the link below.

This look like a very good feature but I haven't used it yet. It will be interesting to know the view point from someone who have actually use the feature.

What do you think about this feature ?

That is a great feature for twitter users, I hope it will also lead to better quality post on the platform. I wonder what will be the fee to tip someone with BTC. If they manage to get fees lower than fiat tips, than that would be a game changer for BTC.

What do you think about this feature ?

I don't care because I don't use Twitter and I'm not planning to register a Twitter account.
This feature was pretty much expected, since Jack Dorsey is CEO of Twitter and probably the biggest Bitcoin supporter.I remember that there was a similar third party tipping service for Twitter, but with fiat money.
Receiving tips and donations doesn't seem like a good business model to me.Perhaps Twitter can create a marketplace(similar to Facebook marketplace)where the people can exchange goods and services for Bitcoin payments. That would be nice.

I can't seem to find this feature. Probably because of my region, but is it somehow connected to the monetization thing in the tab? I see that you could gather social spaces and stuff and monetize your account with minimum followers and many more.

Maybe someone could post a tutorial on this or reference some work.

That's a cool feature. Sad that it's available only on IOS.
You can use BAT to make tips on twitter and reddit, but it's not so popular.
Yes as there are much more users of android around the world, why this is only Limited for apple user ?
and also lucky those twitter user that can avail this tips just by using that said Apps.

Twitter tipping is not that new, I have some tokens I received via Twitter tipping is it's can be sent from your Twitter account to a wallet or an exchange, the bitcoin sending features is what is new at the moment and I think it's a good development which will give Twitter users the chance to store the digital assets in a more reliable and secured manner.
but is it Bitcoin ? because OP mentioned about Bitcoin tipping and not other coins or fiat.

That will result in more adoption. Right ?
Yeah I think so, more people being exposed and learning about bitcoin will definitely make an increase in adoption, this is going to be big if Twitter encourage their influencers to use this tipping feature since the influencers have their own bubble of fan base that they can influence.

What do you think about this feature ?

Jack Dorsey was always very supportive about bitcoin and he has voiced his support for bitcoin multiple times. So I am happy that he is implementing his vision to make them a reality big way. It will support the influence marketing community in a big way really! But the kind of tipping culture exists in US, I don't think any other country follows the same pattern. So this practice may not become successful in other countries except US. But nonetheless, it's a huge news when a giant like Twitter officially support bitcoin. Net positive for the market.

It will.

Every single feature that's allowing bitcoin transfers, tipping/gifting bitcoin, will make an addition to the adoption.

Su price increase occurred but not so impressive. Bitcoin now needs to break through $45000 to confirm the trend again. The impact of twitter adoption of Bitcoin is great. It makes sense in the long term because up to 3 hundred million people are using twitter and that number is going to grow. And that also leads to an increase in the number of people coming to Bitcoin.
The whole bull run this year has been impressive. People just have to look at that side instead of looking at quick daily gains.

Yes, but it's through a browser plugin. Having it directly implemented to the platform is a big thing.

That will result in more adoption. Right ?

What do you think about this feature ?

Well, Bitcoin/crypto is probably the only currency you can use for something like that on a global scale. It would be quite difficult with even the most dominant fiat currencies of the world due to their nature as national currencies with the requirements for foreign users to be subjected to national rules for easy use of the fiat currencies.
As long as Bitcoin/crypto remains truely decentralized, permissionless, trustless, censorship resistant etc.. that won't be much of a problem. No one can stop you from using, buying and selling with it if you are not subjected to their personal rules or agenda

Unfortunately to receive tips you need to have Strike, but yea it's better than nothing and this is a step to the right direction. KYC sucks but this is probably a regulatory problem rather than a Twitter problem per se.

This is a pretty good one especially for the influencers because if they join the bandwagon, they will be able to influence their fanbase to adopt bitcoin too and with more people using bitcoin, the market will eventually go up. Hackers will be feasting on this one though because they can hack verified people with influence to make a fake donation.

Yes, it is good for crypto in general. Now that it is rolled out from today, we will see the real impact in coming days.
