I remember when bitcoin was in the $ 260 in 2013, at that time I believed that the price would be skyrocket then it happened bitcoin touched $ 19k in 2017 it only took 4 years. I regret that didn't buy a lot of bitcoin at that time. Still believe bitcoin can touch the highest price in 5-10 years, but for one million I think it is too far, let's say 20k - 50k is possible, but who knows, one million might happen.

So surprise that I go over to find him on twitter to follow and like his tweet.

But No. As much as we'd like to see him eat his dick, he wouldn't do it we all know that. He will only find a confection shaped as dick to ridicule us.
But $1M seem too high really. I'd be very grateful if BTC price breaks $15k only but $1M everyone would really celebrate freedom.

That was fantastic and I don't how I feel at that time and probably it brings me down and cry for joy.
I know we are far from that, but who knows exactly. That is really a big surprise for everyone.

But forgive cause I'd never want to think it now, and I was just(really) satisfied even the price will reach at $20k this year or in the next 10 years.

What do people get out of this? I mean why are they opening topics like this? Let me tell you beforehand, bitcoin will NEVER be 1 million dollars unless dollar somehow manages to have a record breaking devaluation, like the ones we have not seen in history books, dollar has to live the same faith that Zimbabwe had in order for bitcoin to be a million dollars. Do you know how much money is required for bitcoin to be one million dollars?

We are talking about TRILLIONS of dollars here, not millions, not billions but trillions. The best case scenario for us right now is being over 65 thousand dollars which would mean all those powerful wall street CEOs would be making less than a bitcoin trader, which is already very very unlikely and close to impossible but at least that is on the verge of realism.

If you’d have asked the small handful of individuals interested in Bitcoin this time 10 years ago what they thought the leading digital asset’s price would be at the end of the decade, few, if any, would have said thousands of dollars. Looking forward to the next 10 years, it seems that a lot of people are now much more convinced that the future is bright for Bitcoin.

In December 2009, Bitcoin essentially had no price. Without a formal exchange platform to create a market for price discovery, early proponents of the digital asset would swap coins at whatever rate they saw fit. In terms of real-world value, each Bitcoin in these early days was worth tiny fractions of a cent.

It may be impossible or possible. Either way, we don't know what happens....

Of course, everyone is expecting for Bitcoin to go bullish this year because of halving. When we talk about the long-term results of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it is unpredictable.

John McAfee would eat his d*** live on TV if BTC will not reach a million dollars by the end of this year. But if we are going to talk about this decade? I just don't know if Bitcoin would go even further, especially when the quantum threat arises.

Bitcoin could one day get to $1 million dollar. But, it could take more than a a decade to achieve this. So, far bitcoin is a limited coin and remain nky 4 million to be mined means that its price could get to $1 million.

Bitcoin supply is decreasing and the demand would definitely increase. So, the price will also increase and could reach over $1 million one day. But, that day is still far than a decade.

Being optimistic isnt bad but if it goes to the point that it becomes exaggerated then this is a different thing.
No one really knows on what would happen to the future but those numbers arent really that realistic if we think up clearly.
The question and what do excites me is that would McAfee would eat his d*ck?  Grin
Everyone constantly says that the price of Bitcoin may rise to a million dollars in the future, but today, in my opinion, the capabilities of Bitcoin are losing their properties.  If you look from the point of view of the technical characteristics of other cryptocurrencies, which in some respects are superior to the capabilities of bitcoin, but nevertheless no one says about these coins that they are also able to rise in price at least to $ 10,000, repeating the path of bitcoin.  Most likely, the price of cryptocurrency in the first place will depend not only on the quality of a single coin, but also on the popular cryptocurrencies in society and the importance of its functions in the financial world and, of course, under good market conditions.

And that is reality.
We just don't know what could happen next. Even tomorrow, it may go up which may be shocking to us.

But with the McAfee prediction I don't quite agree.
1M USD is just too much. It will be chaos if it does happen.

I can agree with some who says 20k again because we have seen it. But hell, even with 100k I am still doubting already. What more with 1m?

So far yet so close. I really and we really don't know a bit of idea where market would lead this year. We cannot yet grasp what would be the possible situation that is why we are sticking to an idea closest to being real, yes, it may be foolish of McAfee to have such claim yet it is possible to happen. We can't yet take the possibility because it seems so far. But still we cannot deny the fact market may go abnormally high. Pretty sure we are going to panic.

if prices rise above 100k usd i think it is possible for bitcoin to reach 1 million usd . current prices are very cheap . first i think bitcoin should rise to 40000 usd at latest to creat another new charts in history then everything is possible . halving can make prices surge a lot too

We have a saying in crypto that everything is possible but btc reaching 1M price? All I can say is, if it's possible, it has extremely low percentage that it could happen. Being optimistic is okay but too much optimistic is not okay. You'll look like crazy in eyes of other people for thinking a nearly impossible price. Remember, not all expectations are going to happen and it has been tested and proven many times for how many years. I'd rather wait than stressing myself thinking of such price.
Everything will possible happen with bitcoin but reaching 1 million dollar for bitcoin is look like you want to combine and connected oil and water, there are no space for oil and water become unity and its look when your dreaming bitcoin can reach 1M dollar, I think bitcoin only available have higher price above $20k and many community and country want to banned bitcoin when have most popular than their cash transaction payment.

He better clean up his d**k because it is still going to his mouth.
I have really one good question to him. Can he reach it?  Grin

I am optimistic when it comes to bitcoin but not to the extent that I would go so far as 1 million. $15k might be enough to keep the miners going on to what they do.
But yet some say it may be not enough.
Where is this coming from? Is it greed? I am sure there is still profit there.

Also let's remember that because it will take a long time for Bitcoin to grow to $1 million (if it does happen at all) that means the dollar will be worth a lot less than today. Let's say it takes 25 years for Bitcoin to hit $1 million, by that time that one million is only going to be worth somewhere around $600k in today's dollars given the average inflation rate.

Well, McAfee is nothing but a jerk and he's definitely making the crypto world a circus.

It's kinda tiring to anticipate the price anymore and all I want to do now is not minding my bitcoin and just focus on accumulating. Moreover, being realistic is the least we can do and stop day dreaming on thosw 7 digit value.

But give a dumb prediction for bitcoin that far far away from the current price well we cannot know what will happen in the next few months or years maybe he is right or maybe wrong.
I always look for a high price for bitcoin right now we need to go back to its alltime high and also need to break.

As what you’ve said we don’t know the future and we don’t know if its going to happen or not, but let’s not close our door on that good prices. For now, my expectation for this year is that we will see a bull trend at least once this year and that should be are way to take profit. $1m is too much, but its possible for a limited supply in the market, we will see this one on a new decade.

It's far more likely that Bitcoin becomes a unit of account before it reaches $1 million, which means that the valuation won't matter that much anymore.

I however don't like going ahead in time that much. Let's first get the price to break its all time high and then important barriers such as $50,000 and $100,000. After $100,000 we can start talking about $1 million in a more serious and sensible manner. Everything takes time, so let's appraciate the opportunity we have today where we can buy Bitcoin below the $10,000 level.

As a perma bull, I like to have as much time as possible to accumulate Bitcoin at current levels. You only have such an opportunity once. Whenever we go through the next parabolic cycle people will blame themselves for not having bought more coins at current levels.

Possible or not, surely along the way, bitcoin will expect lots of pressure and countless obstacles while going way up. On its way to $20,000 last 2017, hard and strict regulations about crypto commence in some of the countries (some are good, some are not). I believed if BTC price will breach $30,000, it would trigger again another "alarm". Big whales will surely take advantage of the situation and a big crash will follow.

10 years isn't enough for me for BTC to establish a dream price of $1,000,000. It's not the same as the run that happened from zero to cents to $20,000 within 10 years. But if that will happen, then that's definitely good. Who else doesn't want? However if not, then fine.

And as for me, I didn't even think that will happened honestly. I tend to be closed on being realistic. $10,000 is a dream price for me to considered back then but I don't hope for that to happen but it happened. I just allow the process. It will be the same for $1,000,000? Let's see.

I’m trying to be more positive about this one but its really too good to be true right now, maybe I’m thinking like this because of the current price of bitcoin but maybe in the coming years bitcoin will start to aim better heights again. Its possible if the timeline is longer than expected, but not this year.
