$1400, 1500 and above has always been possible, the fact that price went above $1300 and is now near it doesn't change anything about it.bitcoins is still on the same rising path with more adoption it gets. and all these dips are temporary distractions for some and opportunity for the others to buy cheap coins.

p.s. timing on bumping some of these threads are very interesting.

I think the sec re-considering the approval of the ETF and the Bitfinex ridiculous USDT price is triggering people into buying more, but hopefully this is people seeing the value through the current bullshit situation we are at (antbleed, segwit vs BUcoin etc).

If you take all the drama out, the fundamentals are as good as always and bitcoin remains undervalued.

Yes, $1500 and then $2000 are on the cart with the reason of SEC again going to consider winklevolkss ETF applications, I guess this time they would have corrected what they have missed on their first attempt. I read there are 15 more days to make a verdict on bitcoin ETF applications and within this time frame we can expect bitcoin prices to reach new peaks like $1500+ levels.

$1700 looks like an achievable amount. Already during the days of etf discussion it's been put forth by experts that the price might move above $3000. Now looking the ongoing price increase we might reach $1500 at least by the end of the year, as the price seems to cross $1300 at times and gaining stabilty around the same.

I agree with you. Correction of prices is inevitable. Therefore, soon we will see the price lower than now. But, this need not be feared, since this is the normal development of the cryptocurrency.

Personally, If I have bitcoin, and seeing the price at $1400 I will try to hold it more and wait till its reaches $1800 at the end of the year to sell. But for those we want to sell at $1400, you can do it and its up to you to make the decision.

Regardless of the scenario -- the growing demand will continue to make the price go up to higher levels. $1400 is nothing more than a temporary milestone. If SegWit has been activated, there basically isn't anything left for now that prevents Bitcoin from dealing with the increased demand. I however don't like the current situation where the price jumps up largely due to the difficulties Bitfinex is going through.
