What do you think is the future of bitcoin to these kind of countries which is the poor ones ?
Is bitcoin can be useful for the citizens ?
What would be the government's approach to this kind of currency?
Bitcoin is already acceptable, it is acceptable here in our country and hopefully it will not banned by our government. A lot of citizen here already uses bitcoin because it can help them with their extra needs. Just like how I use my bitcoin. Our countries don't need to change our currencies with digital currencies because our current currencies are still important because of its stable value.

Hi,

It is not so simple to answer such question...

1- I think that for the populations within such countries, as long as they can have access to a computer and internet, it would be very interesting to use bitcoin. They can use it as a new source of revenue but also as a "stable" currency, in order to avoid over inflation of their country currency.

2- In such countries, the economy is hard to stabilize, and that is why many governments are using inflation. Generally, those countries are submitted to the control of other large, rich countries and thus the policy adopted by the government can be rather in favour of foreign interests than for the people.

3- Of course, it depends on the country, but for many poor countries, corruption and large-scale manipulation is the rule. So bitcoin will never been seen with a good eye by authorities, but it can grant power to the individuals.

So you see, the debate is tricky! And actually, I think that every country has some specificities that would be interesting to develop in oder to understand the potential bitcoin has there.

Bitcoin is the saviour of the 3rd World. And the future is in favor of Bitcoin specially when it comes to these countries. It is so useful to mankind and citizens since it never asks for IDENTIFICATION. And all types of governments are bound to milk it through tax regulations.

BTC still has great potential for cryptocurrency in the third world. A significant portion of the population of the country people do not have a bank account or can't use credit card loans, and other financial products, it cause the currency to become a kind of feasible transfer funds and investment tool.

It's too early to talk about third world countries. Not all developed countries are ready to accept cryptocurrency as the official currency. This is a long and painful process. It will be very interesting to observe the development of this sphere.

Bitcoin is for everyone. This means that even the so called poorest people or person. I believe these people would barely welcome bitcoin to minimize and rise up their economy in terms of employment.  So does their government to implement bitcoin. This will be a good help not just for the citizen but also to the country itself.

It would definitely help them. Problem would be first are the necessary things needed since we are talking about the thirld world countries, cellular phones are their major problem, then internet connection and other stuffs. But, if they will be given a chance to earn for themselves, we should at least consider it.

If they have a phone with internet connection, they can easily get some dollars from bitcoin by participating in Signature campaign. If they have some money means, even they can start of bitcoin trading. In bitcoin trading, they can get limitless bitcoin with holding money. If they hold it for a month and sell it when the price raise maximum, they will get very huge returns.

The common people of these countries don't even know about the existence of bitcoin!! Believe me, even after this hype!

Everything that they touch or see is owned by someone who just wants to crush them more! They don't even realise that they have the power to contribute or be a part of the system. Bitcoin sounds to them as something alien! It's as if another big gov backed Conglomerate is trying to snatch whatever they are left with! They are manipulated by the media, you & I are the ones who can create & preach because of the internet!

These people cant, they are programmed by the system to be only users. We need to reach out to them by different ways! Reach to them to tell them how simple it is! Reach to them to propagate that the power is now distributed. Reach to them to make them understand that they are us!

Its gonna take some time, however, that's going to be the last straw, then we will see massive gov breakdowns & people with concentrated power running to save themselves. I envision that once the  "ranking of values" comes into play these people will play the major role. That will be totally another exciting ball game. Overall we will progress &  get ourselves out of this mess.

What do you think is the future of bitcoin to these kind of countries which is the poor ones ?
Future of bitcoin in this kind of countries can be said as progressive as it is. I'm part of a 3rd world country but there were a lot of people that are having a lot of demands of bitcoin. And as we all know, bitcoin's price can be determine to the demand of people in getting bitcoins. Although we are being categorized as "poor" country, we know for ourselves that bitcoin is being treated well in here. What I meant by well is that many people in here are trusting on bitcoin and buying of course.

Is bitcoin can be useful for the citizens ?
It is useful to all  Roll Eyes.
What would be the government's approach to this kind of currency?
Here in the Philippines, the government is somewhat against to this because of high volatility. Guys, if you think that third world countries future in cryptocurrency will be bad. Then think twice Smiley. There are a lot of whales in my country and those whales are what we are looking up to.

Although they are developing countries, bitcoin can still become popular with the available local exchange who promotes bitcoin awareness for the citizens to catch up on this trend. They are providing relevant services when you use this crypto. The people will have the chance to earn money by investing or offering their skills in exchange of btc. However we cant expect all people to understand whats in this technology because not all are fortunate to have gadgets to access the internet.

Bitcoin is the currency for the people be it rich or poor. Yes we know that the third world countries are almost deprived from reaching the cyberworld but if only their government should do something about it, bitcoin and the cryptos will change their economic status for it will open job opportunities (like the campaigns we have in this forum) for their constituents to earn without having a capital at all.

I could agree that Bitcoin could be some kind of help for third world countries and way of income for some poor people there.
But first some conditions for that are necessary, like good internet connection, at least some technical equipement and at least basic knowledge about technologies. Is all that available for people there?
And if they had that already they would be also able to find some other jobs.

I think it will be slow for bitcoin to reach the third world countries. And most of these third world countries are not dependent on internet and will simply have no need for a digital coin such as bitcoin. Their daily lives involves only buying food and basic services from simple stores. But I believe it will be eventually reached by digital coins. When stores such as mcdonald's absorbed bitcoin tech.

Bitcoin can be useful to anyone of this planet as long as he has access to the internet.
And with Lightning Network also the fees won't that much of a problem anymore, as altcoiners like to bring that often up as an argument against Bitcoin for 3rd world nations.
Governments will act differently depending on style of leadership. Authoritarian states will try to ban it. However this won't stop people from using Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is like water and always finds a way to get used by people all around the world. This is the greatness of this specific protocol and value transfer network.

I am currently in the place of a third world country, but doing something for crypto is definitely okay, it is just up to you if you want to adapt it and try to understand the technology behind it.

I think these poor countries will limit bitcoin.
Because in general, the more poor countries domestic inflation, the government will not allow citizens to participate in this kind of speculation in the game, and the BTC is likely to be their country's financial system have a big impact.
