I wish I could spend my bitcoin at a local level but unfortunately, there is not even a single merchant who accepts bitcoin as of now because there is a lack of awareness among merchants. I usually have to convert my bitcoins in fiat and then to spend it. Even if it takes some time, there is no alternate route for me to spend bitcoins offline at this moment.
in my place there are no single store that accept bitcoin even most of the people doesn't know what is bitcoin,it is nice to see people can bought something using bitcoin, I only can bought things from internet, but with the grow of bitcoin i believe one day there will be a store using bitcoin in my city
Same to you man.I'm also belonged some of those country where it not supported.There no transactions system actually it doesn't means that we didn't work with bitcoin digital currency.I purchased bitcoins continuously and also hardly believe that there will be a store using bitcoin in my city in one day,that day not very far.not just you that have this situation, i think many of us have this experience. i think the only way that can solve this problem is by selling our bitcoin into local exchange, i will choose my friend, and then we can buy stuff in local store. while the bitcoin price is moving up, we can make profit by selling bitcoin and the amount of fiat that we can get is bigger too.
For people who want to buy thing from their market in their place offline with bitcoin is not possible nowadays but only for a few people in a few countries and that is only a few goods but for online buyers nowadays everything is easily available with bitcoin. Every person can buy anything with bitcoin from online shops.

Even if there are third parties regarding in the transaction for bitcoin I think what most people want is just like how fiat is working right now and that would not be necessarily considering the nontaxable thing about bitcoin that the government don't want, that would not be tolerable for them, but I am using a wallet now that can provide easily payment on my electric, water, internet and cable bills that are very convenient but all that transaction process in online but people would still prefer a direct transaction.
it is very difficult to find daily needs store accept bitcoin in my country and actually several time ago there is big supermarket on my country will accept bitcoin as the payment and me as the bitcoiners had really glad to heard that but unfortunately this is only a rumour that they never announce this and the main problem in my country is bitcoin users maybe only less than 10% from total population and legality from bitcoin is questionable in my country so maybe the store don't dare to using bitcoin because they thought This would violate the law

There are several things that play an important role as to why local merchants aren't accepting Bitcoin.~ They simply don't know Bitcoin, and in case they do know Bitcoin, they are losing interest due to the volatility. These merchants aren't aware of payment processors as BitPay that handles everything for them. Result - no exposure to volatility.
~ Uncertainty regarding governmental regulatings. In some cases merchants don't want to go through all of this just to add a not yet known by the large public payment option. Too much hassle for them.
~ They simply aren't interested in Bitcoin because they think it's a ponzi scheme with possibly a disastrous effect on their business if turns out that they are associated with Bitcoin.
~ Another important thing is that Bitcoin is more a speculative investment option rather than a currency tool that people use to pay for things. Mentality is also something that needs to change.

Bitcoin is not really popular here so you cant spend it for your daily needs, you need to convert it to fiat first to be able to spend it. but there is also wallet offering btc debit card and i think you can get it for affordable price if you really want to use your btc for purchasing anywhere.
That wil remain to be the norm for the next few years as we see very few physical shops and stores accepting bitcoin as payment. What I most look forward to is for bitcoin to be accepted as payment for mass transit systems like trains, buses, taxis and TNVS. 
It really depends on the country. In mine I don't even have any idea where the btc atms are! Though it would really be nice to be able to use btc anywhere, even on physical stores, I'm not sure if I'd like to go around using my btc when I can just leave them in my wallet to earn value. Guess I won't be dumping my credit card anytime soon.

Yeah I have the same problem too. Although there are two cafes in my city that accept bitcoin and some small bitcoin ATMs in the city centre, I don't feel satisfied because one of the cafes is about to shut down due to some strange reasons and the other only have bitcoin payment occasionally not always. So I hope that there would be more and more stores that accept bitcoin to promote it and raise people's awareness of it.

Nowadays, not everywhere here in my place are accepted bitcoin, were still in progression of educating people about in bitcoin. Because some are getting curious of it, which is a sign that they're having confident into bitcoin little by little. In my experience, I used bitcoin now for loading into my mobile, money transfer, payment of billings whether electricity, water, or telephone bill.
in my city there are no stores accepting bitcoin payments, as it says there which should pioneered this so that easily recognizable bitcoin. probably because bitcoin is a digital system, and some countries still don't accept bitcoin as legal payment so people don't want to take a big risk if a loss because it's. let alone the price of bitcoin is only determined by supply and demand
