The end of 2021 and ahead of the new year of 2022 are quite bad conditions for bitcoin holders, so far the decline that occurs is the worst in the last year after bitcoin experienced ATH a few months ago, the decision made by the Central Bank of the United States (US) or The Federal Reserve is one of the causes of the current down market correction, I think bitcoin will have a long time to recover and even if bitcoin regains positive sentiment in the market it will certainly not directly push bitcoin to ATH at $100 K.
I would say that the drop doesn't change anything for a whole year. It was a small drop and even if it was a big one, we have literally 11+ months to work over this and get back to higher ground. This is why I believe that we should not be focusing on anything that we find scary, just let it be and it will recover.

I believe 100k+ could still be reached, maybe in a few months, maybe over half a year later, no matter when it happens, it could still happen. Obviously nobody can say it "will" happen, but it is easy to say that it could happen and I believe that it surely looks like there is something going on with the way it is moving lately so I am guessing something sooner could be even possible.

Judging but the current price movement, I wouldn't say that bitcoin will recover and make an ATH of $100k this year. Why? because the trend is very different, after a bull run the correction will happen and that would result in a bearish market, and it does not happen so quickly, sometimes it will stay longer which could already influence people in believing that the market is collapsing already.

So my answer is no, no $100k soon.
Even that the market is showing some sign of pump little by little it may still not be applicable to reach 100k, we can say it if the price already break it’s ATH. As well there are many cryptos other investors are focusing too like the NFT and Metaverse that makes some investors split their holdings or focus in the mean time in the new trends. 100k is appricable but may not be this year unless new hype of adoption happens.
To achieve at this price may not this year, small pumping is in the market, so that Bitcoin will experience a price increase slowly, even though the correction occurs in the next month, but I think for this year the price is not possible, at this time there will be a time The recovery is gradually for Bitcoin, to cure the previous correction, and does not rule out the possibility of in front of Bitcoin will return to a good trend or can recover correction in total.

Bitcoin could see further upside and reach $100,000 by the middle of this year, claims Antoni Trenchev of crypto lender Nexo.
Bitcoin has been a winner in the pandemic era, rising more than 80% in 2021 despite being far off record highs hit earlier that year.
However, some experts have warned that bitcoin may be poised for a steep drop in the coming months tanking as low as $10,000 in 2022, virtually wiping out all of its gains in the past year and a half..

Nonetheless, experts may seem predicted the current situation and that bitcoin will likely to experience a steep drop in the upcoming months.
But is it really possible for bitcoin to achieve $100k by mid this year? Given that the market is currently declining.
What are your thoughts on this?
Nothing is impossible in my view, last year's conditions made a reference for experts to predict bitcoin this year, if you look at market conditions, it is likely that the predictions made will happen, because the market has never fully recovered until now, but when it comes to bitcoin, everyone doesn't would never agree on that prediction, especially regarding the price of bitcoin at $100K, for guarantees and guarantees, I don't think anyone would dare give it, however let's wait until next March how bitcoin will happen in the market.

So I will say that $100k might not be viable for this year.

I could see that the pull backs are coming up anytime there is dip. The dip from last year to this last one week of the new year has not taken away the bitcoin volatility to come back fighting. Like you saw the last weekend with price dragging around $40k but the volatility brought some gain above $40k. So $100k is possible if the bull come back normal.

It will not happen this year, although experts predict Bitcoin will reach a price of $ 100k, the correction that occurs against Bitcoin will never take them at such prices, it is not possible for Bitcoin this year at low prices, believe me in Bitcoin in the future Will experience the maximum price increase, if the condition of correction can be completed until February, the current market conditions cannot be used as a reference regarding future bitcoin predictions, because in a short time the market can change completely.

By experts, you are referring technical analysts? But, I have seen there are enough people to support bitcoin to be reaching $100k this year and some other people are warning about bearish trend in short term. Hence, by summarizing all these things that we could conclude like that bitcoin may remain bearish in short term and the trend will chance in coming weeks.

is it really possible for bitcoin to achieve $100k by mid this year?
Pandemic situation must be the culprit here. We must need worrisome free environment so that investors will keep faith on all speculative assets. If there would be no more FUDs about lockdown and slow economy then we can see bitcoin to hit $100k this year.

from what I have seen in the past few years Bitcoin has always been able to recover and reach its peak price, last year Bitcoin managed to reach its peak price 2 times and that was extraordinary even though the market is currently bearish I really believe the 100k figure that many predict will be achieved is only left waiting for the right time either fast or slow.
and for what is happening now I speculate that this bear market will end soon, not for a long time like we have passed after 2017. With higher trading volume I think the bear market will not last long.

There's still that possibility, as if a steep drop is going to make things worse for bitcoin market to the point of not being able to recover. The market will eventually recover and I don't think that a 100k is an impossible thing to happen this year, we have 12 months to wait for it to happen.

Precisely! Sure bitcoin is currently bearish at this point and experiencing some steep drop but that doesn't mean that bitcoin can go to a point of no return and can't recover. And these self renowned "experts" is just giving some mere speculations like we do and certainly there's no proof that they're accurate when it comes to predicting market situations and prices.
That $100k prediction may sound impossible for now as we're currently experiencing some dips but that doesn't mean that $100k is really impossible this year, we still have a long way to go before the year 2022 ends.

I think it's obvious that it's going to be a difficult ride to $100k with the way the market is moving right now. I mean where is the money? Investors are very reluctant for now, not just in crypto but also in stocks and even gold. All investors are somewhat taken aback by all the happenings around the world specially the effect of the Omicron virus and other economic and political tensions. So I will say that $100k might not be viable for this year.

Please be tired of this same topic from 2021 up to now.

How many thread was created asking bitcoin to reach 100k last year? and now you start another one? common man that is enough.

Bitcoin will reach 100k but we cannot expect this happening very soon , this will take years again like from 2017 and now 2021.

We already see bitcoin increase sharply in the last year so the downtrend can come at this year and it could still go down for more. But bitcoin will still have a big chance to hit $100,000 this year or in the future and even if the price is down to $10,000, that will not stop bitcoin from increasing higher and making a new ATH in the future. The price starts to go down from this month but we do not know if the price will rise again in the next weeks or months so there is no right answer when bitcoin will achieve $100k. What I think right now is just prepare ourselves, prepare our money to buy at the dip and hold on tight our bitcoin, manage your emotion because we may see the dippest price of bitcoin later if many people panic seeing the drops.

One of these days one expert will sure hit a real date when it really touches that $100K mark. There is just so much to see yet this year despite the dip that had been happening for months. The market could go up again maybe in the month of May by what other EXPERTS are saying but it all depends on what the biggest investors in crypto will do. We all want to see BTC be $100 as much as experts want.

Declines is inevitable but doesnt mean that we wouldnt be shooting up with that level of price and if you do have experience on this market for years then these
movements wont really be that a shocking thing for you but rather seeing these as a part of normal days in market where corrections and dip do happens.
So called experts or professional trades or anyone who is engage with economy could make out those considerable predictions but doesnt mean
that it would 100% precise for you to rely on in regards to your investment decisions,.

If it's just about the possibility, well yes.

But to expect that bitcoin reaching $100k for the mid-year, I have stopped thinking of that. Forget about what the experts are telling, just like us, they're only telling their opinions which isn't far from what we're thinking.

It's very possible that bitcoin is going to be heading to $100k soon but remove that target time when it will happen. It could be by this mid, end or by next year and so on.

bitcoin will definitely go to $100k but it can't be predicted with certainty whether it will happen this year...

even though it is predicted to be severely bearish, I don't think the bitcoin price will drop below $25k. if you have bitcoin then hold it and if you have more money then keep buying bitcoin when dip.

When it comes to predicting bitcoin's market price, the word "expert" does not count, it is simply a gamble and your guess is as good as any.
Achieving $100k before mid year is definitely possible
Would it happen? We would have to wait and see.
The crypto market is unpredictable.

Yeah, quite surprised to see the word 'expert' here, we all know that there's no such thing as everyone here is at the same level, speculating and making wild and educated guess.

And I'm not sure what this guy is thinking, it is written that we are in the bear market already and it's hard to recovered from a huge fall to $10k and then dramatically goes $100k at the same year.

It's not possible because even last year bitcoin achieved 2 all timeh high value, how much more now on this situation especially if the bull starts early?. For sure 100k is easy to achieve this year.  Cheesy actually that prediction isn't new because last year there's a buch of prediction that 100k is the all time high before 2021 end unfortunately bearish take over.  So let's hope within this year it will happen.
Well, that's why Bitcoin is always unpredictable and nobody can predict where the next price is going. I don't believe those so-called experts as they say since they were just speculating just like the rest of us but for them they were just giving some wild guesses out of nowhere. But, I am certain that we are going to see that $100k soon and for the meantime let's enjoy the dip and buy more while hodling.

There is one thing to find out what price would Bitcoin go. Could it be up or down?

When I see in an article that someone is speculating between $10 000 and $100 000, then everything is completely clear to me - a little play on words and opposing views and finally a little free PR for gentlemen who want their 5 minutes of glory. While anything is possible, it doesn't seem likely to me that the price will go as low as $10k, no matter what a finance professor thinks - maybe it's just her desire to buy cheap Cheesy
