You are right, and this is not gonna happen at all the price is to low right now to go to such a high amount this year.
I think its highly unlikely this will happen because the halving is coming but this will indeed rise to a amount of near the 800 dollar.

We never know what can happen in the future. It is hard to predict a currency. But maybe it will have a higher value in the end of 2016.
But it wont be that high. If you are now looking you can see that the price is rising very slowly.

There is little possibility for the price to go that high. Maybe there general adoption or the Wall Street money comes in.

Yeah, that's not possible for bitcoin to reach  $2016 by the year end, I think it will be around $600 by the end of the year 2016 and to reach $2016 I think we have to wait longer.

I think that's actually the limit for now, testing $1000 or similar figures won't ever happen in the upcoming months or years in my opinion unless there are some major developments and deals going down which I'm afraid it's not realistic with the bad image Bitcoin has with big companies and banks. Also that $1000 barrier is psychological too since many people were badly burned in 2013's bubble.

Your calculation is very realistic because $500 - $600 is easily achievable for Bitcoin even in worst case situation.

I do not think that the price will reach the $1000 levels this year at all, maybe the price will reach its peak point in October and November after the halving which I speculate it will be 500 : $600

It's a nice goal, but I would be happy if we would stay at 400 dollar.

Lol, whatever. I'm a little bipolar lately on the future of Bitcoin, I still maintain too opposite visions, one is that we will close out the year at $500-600, therefore Bitcoin keeps growing year by year. The second one is that Bitcoin is sort of doomed, it can go on and on for a couple more years but at the end if it doesn't wake up and actually create some demand from the average Joe it will become irrelevant to an upcoming project or new tech that actually does that. It can't remain as a "potential" or experiment for so long.

Although the title is funny and there are also some funny comments about the price of Bitcoin.I don't expect that higher price but there will be some huge rise in price exact after what halving of blocks will be completed.I can expect at about 1k $ /BTC as fair price but not this as OP described.

If everyone buys all the bitcoins it will be very predictable.... Lol

You haven't worked out that money is a confidence game. If you sell bitcoins its because you have no confidence. 

You need to book yourself on a personal empowerment course to build up your self-esteem. Then you will see that bitcoin cannot fail and the reasons to sell is really a fear of personal failure runinng around in your head.

Buy more bitcoins. It will make you more attractive to women.

I agree with you that it is going to rise, but I do not think so fast, frankly.

But you must also assume that the price may go down because it is in fact highly unpredictable.

Lol what I really love about your post here is how optimistic it is for bitcoin's future. If you notice, the amount of negativity on this speculation board does cause a percentage of Bitcoin owners to sell which drives the price way down. Honestly it is always so refreshing to see people enthusiastic about the coin's future.

Again, really like the positivity, but it won't be like that. Although we've already reached $390, we're simply going through a period of "pump and dump" where many investors buy and the sell for quick profit. It seemed we were increasing the price ever so slightly but right in the new year of 2016, the Cryptsy and Mike Hearn issues caused so much turbulence it rocked the system and now people are buying and selling too quickly.

I think we will see the price soar by the time halving comes around, or unless something major happens that allows people to regain their trust in Bitcoin. As previously mentioned, I do think your optimism and positivity is amazing and I am not trying to discourage it. Bitcoin is a strong and trustworthy currency that we can rely on and the price will go very high this year, it's just that we won't hit it so quickly. However perhaps if we keep up the positive energy people will start investing in Bitcoin for the long run allowing there to be less selling and more buying which will, evidently, increase the price.

$368 yesterday, $388 today.  If that happens every day for the rest of the year, even allowing for days of going back a bit, we could hit the target.
