In my opinion Bitcoin doesn't reach 50K$ this year. I think that recovery will start in the second half of the year. But the price will reach only 16K by the end of this year.
If that's gonna happen then we should buy now. Eventually it will go up after this dip. Remember to hodl any coins you have. Don't sell anything yet wait the market to recover.

So many different opinions. I remember similar forecasts for 2017, when no one could guess that Bitcoin's price could reach $ 20,000.

50K this year seems impossible. The market changes a lot and the btc may never reach that price, it may be replaced by another crypto that will become the market leader... Personally I'm done investing in bitcoin. I only use it as an index like the Dow Jones or the S&P 500 as an indicator of the overall market. My focus is on existing and upcoming altcoins that will take over as the new dominant player by massively improving on the technology that bitcoin is lacking.
I will say that there is less than 10% probability of this happening now. This is because bitcoins has performed very bad this year and we are seeing it just revolving around $7000 mark.
Oh man don't listen to the Wall Street jokers they don't know anything about crypto price prediction. They are shooting in the dark with their 'expert' projections 
i don't think it will reach that much value this year i am only predicting it on 10k to 15k maximum cause many media news is destroying the reputation of bitcoin and the government wants to control the value.
The media is just a sounding board for the power brokers who can use the media to drive the prices up or down.
I think it will reach critical mass soon and start to snowball forward at rate we still have not seen before, once the big players start panic buying 20k will look laughable to own an entire btc
alts are diluting to shit i think many alt fans will soon jump ship back to btc ...alts are becoming far too risky and the chances of picking a real winner are reducing daily.
most huge MC alts are icos and those caps are bullshit there is no investment or infastructure behind them to compare to btc.
there are a handful of alts with long term dev teams plugging away that are specialised enough in their use case for them to hold off btc encroaching on them for a while

As if cryptomarket is a unstable market.so nothing can say fixed about that.But considering the present situation,it can be seen that the price index may not be considered to be 50000 even after the end of the year.

I am not sure about that but this year it will improve slowly.

I expect it to hit that point this year because 2018 as I see it would be a wonderful year for bitcoin and I expect great prices from bitcoin and a bull market that will be twice the previous ATH.
Possibility Increase is remain, but so impossible if reach so high price like that, I seen bitcoin price still unstable untill at this time, so don't easy to trust some news like that, you should check amd learn the situations.
