If I watch the statistic of the past year I might conclude there will be more bumps before BTC hits 10,000$

I am sure that BTC will reach 10k, because so many hedge funds are coming into crypto markets right now. But I really hope that it will run sideaways some weeks. So that altcoins can gain a lot during that consolidation.

IMHO it will not reach 10000$ it will jump over it from 9k to 11k.

It sounds crazy but I want to see 10.000$ even at 2017 
Ofcourse there will be dump after BTG and Segwit2X hardforks, but there will be month and a half to reach 10000.

I expect that 10.000 USD will be a very tough resistance to break through. Let's see whan will fork bring us.
Hope it will reach 10000$ by the end of the year but there should be some dump going to happen after next two forks on oct 25 and nov 18 then people move towards altcoins and even they will dump btg and b2x . So after December last or in jan next year again bitcoin will raise based on my analysis.
As Bitcoin has touched and passed the 6,000.00 $ mark researchers and the investment communities and media are all talking. The talk is that they see Bitcoin going above 10,000.00 in the near future. I talked about this last week and was talking about 24,000.00 . So it looks like I am not to far off in my look to the future.

$ 10,000? wow, do you know what is the cause of the rise of the fantastic bitcoin price? Please let me know, because I do not have enough knowledge to speculate there. I do not know what the cause is, but all I know is the bitcoin price fluctuates and will not forever keep going up, I think maybe 2018 will be the time for bitcoin down. Of course, everyone wants that to happen. But we never know how bitcoin works to raise or lower the price. To me the opportunity is wide open to the sky.....
this board is only for altcoin. i think btc will break 7000 usd during this year. to touch 10k usd we need to wait another year hope so.

As the fast pace surge of the BTC price today, 10k usd is out of the question. I belive there will be times of low prices but BTC will overcome it.

I agree since this is a very big value already. When it reach this price level, maybe it will move sideways or even dump and we will wait several months for the correction before it will become bullish again. Support will turn into resistance when its too high in my opinion.

Honesty Bitcoin its kinda still in an infancy stage and def has not reached outside the realm of finance just yet. Also Bitcoin markets such as exchanges and blockchain are still there early years, so growth should be getting higher as well. But I do say probably in another year we can see a 10,000 USD Bitcoin.

Could be and could not be. One thing that I have learned in crypto is that the market is extremely volatile and cannot be predicted before hand. So we may see a 10k bitcoin before end of year or a 2-3k bitcoin is also something that is unexpected.

Bitcoin is what, $100B with 16M+ Bitcoin circulating with $6,000 Each.
If we actually look further, $1 Trillion marketcap would result each Bitcoin to be $60,000

That is possible. But don't expect it to happen soon.
It's important that price will just continously climb than it will take a quick and rush jump to $10,000.
