Some of the best news for BTC yet!

I absolutely love this forum, however I'm only allowed to post on certain threads, I'm assuming there is some rule as to where you can post when you're a forum noob, am I correct? If so, does any one know when I'll be able to post on other sections?

Many thanks!

Currently, you can only post in the Newbies section.

Read the Newbie READ ME for the details on the change of membership positions.

Once you're a Jr Member you should be able to post on the rest of the forum.

Haha but I'm not 100% sure so go read it for yourself. Smiley

Nice article Smiley

I think these stories really promote and get the word out on btc.

But.. I wouldn't pay that much money to be in space for the short amount of time though. :b

pretty cool story,  I'd say it's more like bitcoin to infinity and beyond.  But hey it's a good start.  I will see all you early adopters in space!

I would go, but the bitcoin/litecoin price is still way too cheap, reasonable expectation is around $10000 for BTC and $2500 ltc during 2014, and then $100000 for BTC in 2015-2016 range. This crypto currency firespread is part of global revolution and redistribution of wealth, it is probably inspired by extraterrestrials who are observing earth and guiding most aware humans toward more advanced and harmonious society. This new crypto financial system and redistributed wealth will give power to some key individuals among population and thus enable spread of suppressed inventions such as free energy, antigravity and quantum medicine. It will effectively put an end to fossil fuel and financial slavery era. In a few years max i expect that we fly in antigravity ships.

My biggest concern for BTC is that it won't become widely accepted, and will remain a speculative investment/asset/whatever it currently is as opposed to evolving into a full fledged currency which actually assumes the role of "money" in the Austrian Economics sense.  We need to really push hard for more vendors to accept as a form of payment, but, more than that, we need to encourage everyone to spend some of their stash.  The more people we have spending BTC and using it as a form of money, the better our chances of it truly taking over the world are.

In fact selling the coins or spending is the same, except you dont pay income tax when you spend BTC directly. And yes, there are many places already where to spend BTC

I don't disagree that there are many places that accept BTC, but this is still going to be one of the main challenges, and eliminating the conversion necessity will be another.

Saw him talking about it this morning on CNBC.  Not totally surprised, as Branson has always been one of the more daring visionaries in the business world, but definitely awesome!
