I am in between 20 to 21 not over 21 yet.
Why don't you include all polls in single thread? I mean isn't this possible, it will be better not to flood board with polls.

About 20 or so respondents thus far, and most appear to be in their 30s. Good response but we can do better! And I KNOW there are younger and older folks cruising this forum.

Please fill this out along with the other 3 polls we have going - for location, income, and wealth.

Once you've done that, help us find more responses by:
  • Finding two forum friends to complete this poll
  • Posting about this poll in other forum boards (i.e., bitcoin forum, politics & society, projects, technical, beginners, local, etc)

We need your help!

29 here. First started collecting Bitcoins almost 3 years back... but took it seriously only since 2015. Too bad that I wasn't aware of Bitcoins in 2011 or 2012. I could have purchased them for $10 per coin.  Grin
26 is here. I sold more than 100 BTC back in 2011  Sad Undecided Undecided

Great responses and comments thus far. I've noticed that 16 people have answered this poll - are you all aware of the other polls we have running (each of which has fewer than 16 responses).

You can find them here:

The polls can be found in the Economics section, links below:

Please spread the word to other users so we can great a response as possible!

Thanks!

Im 32 years old and I am running 33 this year. What I like about your title is how young are we and not how old, that makes us feel more younger. I have started bitcoin seriously when I was 31 years old and at that time I am focused on collecting bitcoins in the faucets. I was not contented and so I have done many research until finally when I reach 32 years old I am earning hundreds of dollars from online jobs in the form of bitcoin,

37 here hehe, I wish I learned about bitcoin earlier. I wish I got a thousand of it while it was a few cents before.

I think this is the same regret of every bitcoiner here Tongue

Yeah, right!?

Hindsight is tough to reconcile. But as I remember it, back when BTC was trading at $10 or $100 it seemed so much more difficult to acquire (outside of mining). Back then you had to wire money to a random site to be able to get it over to Mt Gox or the Blockchain. Of course now the effort seems totally worth it but back then it seemed pointless.
Am 36 and from Africa. I hear about bitcoin for the past three years and since then, try to fashion out how to get it, for in my heart I believe since the day I had about it that is going to be a precious something in future, but my limitations then, was were to buy it without bank transfer, knowledge on were to store it and who will buy them from me if I want to sells it. I was able to make millions of satochi today rendering services online and I am very ok by it. From the part of the world I come from, you cannot get payment from services you rendered online through PayPal and that render my efforts uselessness, but  i can appreciate my efforts now getting payment for my services through bitcoin.

Bitcoin User Poll Project

I'm developing a series of polls to identify some demographics about the bitcoin community, using the forum participants as a sample group for the larger bitcoin community. Please help me by completing the polls as they are posted. Feel free to share comments or debate the results as well.

The polls will cover the following topics - age, location, monthly income, bitcoin balance, etc.

These polls taken together can provide us a good picture of what the community looks like. I'll be happy to post all aggregated results here so everyone can benefit from the data.

Please spread the word to other users so we can great a response as possible!

Thanks!
