Hi guys!

We're now also accepting submissions right here in this thread for anyone interested in designing banner ads for a chance at winning $75 per banner that we choose to use! Smiley

We're hoping to get some more submissions in the next few days as we're getting a slightly urgent need for more banners! Wink

Just a reminder folks that we're hoping to get a lot more and make this thread and our submission thread a bit more active; and as always, the submissions we pick will receive $75 per submission in BTC! Smiley

i would also try to use my knowledge of html to design banner(s) for you. Would try to submit asap. these restrictions makes it more challenging !!
Btw is there any deadline ? (i guess not.)

That would be fantastic, apoorvlathey! No, there's no deadline, and the more submissions we get the better! Smiley

great to see that this is now ongoing Smiley i might give it a try in my spare time..

That would be excellent, we look forward to seeing anything you might come up with! Smiley

What do you think would be a fair amount for an HTML banner, cryptohustla? Don't forget though that the reward is $75 per banner, so if a user posts 5 banners, for example, and we choose 3 of them, that would be $225! Smiley

i based this on the current restrictions and my laziness lol

Will try to join the design contest. it does need to be two banners and one is when the mouse hover right?

i think its better to just submit the two banners and thats it as we can't upload it to you site to host the images and work with the html codes.

Hi enhu,

It doesn't necessarily need to be two banners / a roll-over effect, but we do really like that style!

I've added a request to upload the HTML banner code Codepen.io so that other community members with no HTML experience can check the banners out. Smiley

Looking forward to seeing your submissions on our submission thread!

if you were successful on submitting i might give it a try as well Smiley agree with the restrictions but thats what the OP wants maybe just maybe if its more than $75 someone would probably jump .. (me? lol)

Submitted my first banner on the thread you mentioned. More coming up Smiley

Thanks leowonderful! I just added a highlighted section to the Ad Design Specs, if you'd like to check those out for your HTML banners so others in the community can check them out that'd be great! Smiley

Does something like this fit?
Don't know much about coding but this was quite simple to make
question is does it match OP requirements? Maybe I just did a fool of myself  Roll Eyes
Nevertheless please check it.

I've attempted to do this, but there's almost zero information out there on how to make an html banner with just html and no pictures. Most people will either use pictures or make the whole banner a pic and send it to you. It's definitely worth the 75$ if you can currently do html, but as a beginner, this just isn't worth the time. I doubt i'd be accepted anyways haha good luck everybody, I might go dissect some banners and figure out how to do this.

Okay, think I got it now. Hint, you must convert special symbols to hex, otherwise this will not work. Ex: ★ will not work in all cases, substitute ★. I've been at it ever since my last post, I'm getting it now Smiley

Yeah that's one of the problems we experienced also, pictures are the usual thing for banner advertising and making a really nice looking HTML banner can be a bit of a challenge; that's why we wanted to open it up to the rest of the Bitcoin community! Smiley

If you want to make submissions on our submission thread, following the Ad Design Specs and adding them to the test page etc., we'd love to see them!

making html with the followings restriction just feel quite stressing, may make the restriction simple so it'll easy to be remember, however should give it a try, can't guarantee it'll finished,i'll spent my free time on this

The restrictions are unfortunately out of our control, but we'd love to see any submissions you might have over at the submission thread. Smiley

I wonder why there are no participants even on bitcoin.com forum theres no participants yet 3 days after posts with $75 at stake? weird anyway i attempted and its kinda boring in my part lol or maybe im just so noob in html ads not my thing so after 2 hours of attempt i gave up.

the design spec made it hard for me haha or maybe im just too lazy

We have a few participants now so the ball seems to be rolling! Smiley
