sorry for trying to spread the word about a VPN provider that accepts bitcoin...

Don't try to pass yourself off as doing something noble - you're simply trying to make money.

This guy is promoting his affiliate links. Is that allowed here? He should have mentioned that his links were affiliate links and provide optional clean links.

Somebody's jealous

I think it's not wanting this forum to fill up with garbage SPAM.  Of course this person will say the VPS is wonderful if he is getting paid.

check out honest bob a very pleased customer, sorry for trying to spread the word about a VPN provider that accepts bitcoin...

The best VPN is https://www.ivpn.net/aff.php?aff=131

They accept bitcoins, aren't based in USA, don't keep logs, and have the fastest and most reliable servers

nice hijack, I guess I'll adress this though because it'll give me a free bump. 1. your guys are much more expensive $20 bucks A MONTH vs 19.99 - 20% A QUARTER, 2. if you read through the thread you will see their parent company resides in panama and they don't even keep logs which makes the whole "U.S based" thing moot.

Also "fastest and most reliable servers" citation needed

Why? Does my affiliate link somehow change the fact that there's 20 or 30 percent off? Does it somehow change the fact that they accept bitcoin? Why wouldn't it be allowed here, when even things of questionable legality are?

Anybody know if this company is EU Data Retention Directive compliant? Do they mention anywhere what information they store on their users and for how long?

They do not log at all it is in their FAQ. As for the information they store, I talked to them they store your billing and account information obviously but nothing else. So if someone really wanted to they could tie you to having an account with them and presumably the services you are subscribed to also, but that wouldn't mean anything since there are no logs.

TorGuard has been a great VPN for me thus far. Lots of servers in lots of places, and zero downtime experienced thus far. I also really like their openVPN client software... especially the portable versions.

Glad you like it! It's a great service only 8 more days for 30% off

US jurisdiction, blergh.

The US, though it has many other  problems, is actually one of the few 1st world countries that do not require logging by law (assuming my understanding is correct).
