You have really made a summary of the financial tussle between banking system and cryptocurrency. It is the obvious that the monopoly of banks is being threatened by another power change just like banks took over from traditional mode of financial transactions.

Banks specially the powerful banks have always played their role in the economic system of the world, and these banks have never let any situation which they did not manipulate for their own benefit. No doubt these banks were giving very much good services but then they had the opportunity to play with our money as well for fixed time. So now all these things are going down because of the crypto currency which these banks do not want in the world. it until whenever bitcoin and bank will always side by side.
They say that banks tremble with horror when they hear about transactions with bitcoins.After all, they act as intermediaries. they will lose this feature if all payments are in bitcoins. If there is such a need, banks can compete seriously with cross-border transfers in cryptocurrency.

About replacing, I don't think so or predict., that bitcoin will replace banks or bitcoin technology on the internet will beat the bank until the bank is no used anymore. Anyhow the banks is still firmly tied to a common currency that's unlikely to be replaced by a digital currency (bitcoin). The possibility that happened., I think maybe it will only be supported by banks, and the banks will try to accepting bitcoin till looks more modern tied to the internet world that supports bitcoin as a alternative currency that can be used for various things like as common currency.

Bitcoin will not replace banks in the future simply because governments will not allow a decentralised system to take control of the money flow. Generally if something does not get general approval of governments and does not get properly regulated it cannot easily survive by itself. What I hope however is that banks and government will see the applicability of blockchain technology (more than bitcoin itself) and use that technology to improve the way finances and informations are distributed.

I would completely agree with your comments on banking system. However, Bitcoin have already replaced banks in few countries and some countries haven't accepted Bitcoin is due to the banking monarchy have misguided the government creating negativity on Bitcoin. Banks have sucked people's blood in the form of fees and charge, but this would come to an end if Bitcoin replaces it so banks are going extreme to stop Bitcoin to rule the world.
May be Bitcoin usage could be delayed in Al over the world but definitely some day Bitcoin would replace banking system.

Bitcoin does really have the chance to replace banks in the future because the growth today of cryptocurrency is very fast and if banks would not do anything about that then it was very sure that their business will really go down.
Bitcoin and banks are having different level of status, bitcoin is a digital cryptocurrency, and banks are forms of legal paper money or actual currency which is used for medium of exchange. However, the comparison of two are both usable and more people who wants to own for their wealth. And even bitcoin will become legally used as a legal tender, but still banks exist. And I don't think that bitcoin would replace banks, because bitcoin and banks are different in situations and management, but we must accept the facts that bitcoin affects banks operations but it doesn't mean that banks will disappear because of bitcoin. Although there are some banking institutions plan to adopt bitcoin soon. And if bitcoin will legally used as a legal tender, it would surely that banks would also accept and adopt bitcoin.
I agree banks aren't going to disappear, but I believe their power, wealth and influence in the world can decrease if Bitcoin is successful on its implementation, respecting the decentralization ideal behind it.
Banks could accept the changes pacifically, just adapting themselves to the new reality, but they won't without taking advantage from Bitcoin, and if they can't take advantage from Bitcoin somehow, they won't accept adopting it, having to adopt or create another Crypto-Currency.
