What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

A lot of exhanges aren't even supporting bcc and wallets as well. I don't think it will be like btc entirely and would most likely walk the path of other altcoins. I think bcc didn't get the acceptance that the developers were hoping for but let's see, its just a couple of days old.

Many folks are waiting for deposits to be allowed

And as you can easily guess, with the purpose of dumping this pseudo-Bitcoin for whatever it is worth currently. This is not something that its authors likely meant (but who knows), but anyway if no one is going to use it, then the whole point behind the introduction of larger blocks is lost since this coin (as claimed by its creators) was aimed at solving Bitcoin congestion issues. But how can it solve them if no one would be using it apart from dumping and buying regular Bitcoin instead?

after some exploring of the exchanges,I found out that Viabtc was one of the few exchanges that allowed BCC deposit and trade
many others either had both BCC and BTC wallets on maintenance,or didn't allow BCC deposits, even those that had declared support for BCC earlier
the rate on Via is around 0.15 bitcoins per bcc

and the price is volatile, but as you can see on this picture, there is a huge wall to sell at 0.15 so I think, there will be quite a while untill it is bought out
https://www.viabtc.com/quot/realtime?currency=btc&dest=bcc&chart=simple
realtime price chart
so if any of you guys are planning to dump your BCC now is the time Smiley
or HODL and wait for it to release the "full potential of the increased block size" and replace bitcoin, the choice is yours

I think it will depend on how many people will really use BCC. The current high value is probably due to lack of liquidity in the market.
When it will be included in some exchanges or have more apps that can use it ,as well many users to adopt , sell or drop it its value will start to move down or up. We will know after month what can it be.

the thing is that you cannot sell BCC without any hassle, most of the exchanges have either BCC wallets under maintenance
or both bitcoin and BCC wallets under maintenance,so it is an artificial attempt to keep the price from crashing
bittrex, yobit, kraken and many other exchanges do not allow you to simply dump BCC tokens and enjoy free money
BCC price went up to 800$ + at some point due to this

Well in the last two days ago bitcoin cash market value have increase from $0 to $1050 on bittrex exchange while  that of the main the main market value of Bitcoin has not reduce rather but move to $2800 at the early hours of today, and that shows bitcoin will keep on increasing. There are speculations in some quarter that holders of bitcoin cash may likely dump bitcoin cash as many of them are on the hit and run mission.
Its impossible that you seen $1050 look at the coinmarketcap here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#charts
As you can seen in the  market the maximum price reach by bitcoin cash around $600
Well other people are said that much better to dump those bitcoin cash because its altcoin and not a bitcoin that i think we will see a fast dump  of the price of bitcoin cash because for those who first claimed their own bitcoin cash they already making a large amount of profit if all people will convert into bitcoin..
For me i'll stay using bitcoin and i think much safier to hold bitcoin that bitcoin cash i just heard there are still issue claiming bcc in electron cash wallet. .

Don't get fooled by the rising bcash prices. Bcash is experiencing some major clusterfucks right now.

There is a mysterious miner organisation from HongKong is mining almost empty blocks and they make sure that the difficulty stays high. So moving bcash is a pain right now. That makes it very easy to manipulate prices. And there is also that many exchanges don't let people to withdraw their bitcoins.

So you can't send your bcash to the exchanges, even if you do, exchanges won't let you leave.

I would do nothing right now but eat my popcorns while watching this freak show.

What does empty blocks have to do with anything? The blocks are empty because there's substantially low transaction volume as of yet, not because of some conspiracy. And you can't "keep" the difficulty high any more than you can "make" the difficulty low. The difficulty is a function of the solve time of the blocks. BCH works the same way as BTC, the difficulty adjusts up or down based on the the number of hashes solving the block and how long they take. So by "keeping the difficulty" high, they would only have to be mining blocks per normal. "Letting" the difficulty fall would be taking miners offline, creating opportunity for other miners to grab their share of the revenue, so there's no conspiracy, just miners working in their own economic self-interest just like every miner in BTC.

The starting price is the very definition of speculation. I expect it to be highly volatile while people scramble to figure out if it will have any staying power. Some folks will rush to dump their newly acquired BCH trying to lock in the highest price they can. Others will be attempting to buy it as cheap as possible. I expect those groups, regardless of whether they think it will survive long term or not, to attempt to orchestrate a pump down the line. One thing for certain is all the uncertainty this scenario has created is not good for the ecosystem or the community, and I believe this is only going to increase the amount of acrimony between the two sides, because now they're competing against each other for legitimacy and there's literally billions of dollars on the line. If BCH dies off or stay irrelevant, no long term harm will be done. But I think the inevitable war between the two camps now is going to be very damaging for Bitcoin

I don't think this war is going to last long

There is no influx of fresh money into the system (after the Btc-e controversy), so the only viable way that this Chinacoin is going to stay afloat (provided it gets enough trading volume in the first place) is via sucking money out of the regular Bitcoin. Altcoins are just too small for that, and their holders won't be interested in dumping their favorite toys in favor of this wannabe Bitcoin. But why would generic Bitcoiners want to go for this coin either? As to me, there's no way they are going to dump real Bitcoin, it just makes no sense economically. This pseudo-Bitcoin is set to die in a matter of few days when most people finally realize this

Bitcoin is the first coin in the market so we considered all the cryptocurrencies that made is also called as altcoins. I think bitcoin cash has a potential to be a good promising cryptocurrency because it is on the top 3 in market cap. It was shocking but I think it can overtake ethereum market cap and price in a couple of weeks.

With in a first day or second, it is not possible for us to judge, right now there are many speculations circulating because many people are thinking that soon the price of BCH will dump in the market like Zcash. In the beginning, Zcash creates a lot of hype in the market and afterward, it settles at some point.
Haha Zcash when listed on Poloniex I remember have value 4 BTC per coin, then after one day it decreasing to 1 BTC per coin and falldown from that time to 0.1 after three days lol. And next subject for the scenario of whales maybe is Bitcoin Cash Roll Eyes

But the fact is treat it like it's a brand new coin, treat it like it had an excellent promotion scheme ahead of time, and invest in it as a different coin that has absolutely nothing to do with Bitcoin.

though as at today bitcoin Cash price  stand at $625 and I don't know if this is a false pumping and no value.  at bittrex bitcoin Cash has making a change in price up to 11,000%. Bitcoin on the other hand has not making any significant changes and I do believe that bitcoin is studying what will happen before making the next move.

Come on man bitcoin is the pioneer in cryptocurrencies world,  no other altcoin have the capability to defeat it,  BCC will just remain a altcoin its not going to match the BTC value.

Thats a big fact but well who knows that sooner or later it would line same as the bitcoins value, just think about something that might help us to gain more where in if the demand were high it will raise its value as well and opportunities will take place.

If miners keeps support to BCC then for sure it will rise more then BTC.
Block size is larger then BTC and there are transaction problem occurs on BTC.
Lets wait and see whats going to happen but for sure i will buy on dips BCC

But the BTC chain which has segwit + 2MB blocksize (I know we have to wait a bit longer for those 2MB), and this results in a tx speed aproximatelly equal to a 8MB Blocksize without segwit.
The increased blocksize harms decentralisation because nodes get more expensive, so increasing the blocksize is not the perfect way.

Furthermore BCC has nearly no support and most people will dump it ASAP.

Are you certain about this? It's a fairly important point, and if it's true, BCH's distinction about 8MB blocks is superficial and arbitrary and renders BCH pointless since there's no functional difference. But I don't know if that is actually true. I read that SegWit is supposed to clear up space for 60% more transactions, so if you're getting 60% more transactions per MB, it would only be a 3.2x improvement over the old non-SegWit 1MB blocks, whereas 8MB blocks are an 8x improvement. It seems that BCH does have more scaling power at the present by more than 2 times over SegWit 2MB blocks.

Someone correct me if I've missed something

You are always missing an all important point in virtually everything you post

That's why what you say seems to be a little far-fetched and somewhat decoupled from reality. In this case specifically, you assume that technical distinction makes some sense, while in fact it simply doesn't. Even if the differences were purely nominal, that wouldn't mean a shit. What would mean is how many miners are going to support this Cash coin and how much real cash its supporters are actually going to pour into it. In other words, no one would give a fuck if this new Bitcoin ain't really different from the old one as long as it allows to earn handsome profits. That's how the world turns these days in crypto

Well i am expecting that Bitcoin Cash will have the same value as Bitcoin but then like what others said that the Bitcoin Cash will be another Altcoin. But still, if it gives us opportunity to earn our own money then go for it Smiley
Not a good idea to go for it bitcoin cash will be still altcoin and like other said better to dump it because its useless.. they are just starting to promote bitcoin cash and trying to fool other people..
Bitcoin will be still remain to be use and i don't think it can gives you a good profit if you go in bitcoin cash.. but for me i'll stay to invest in bitcoin and hold it when never happen..
