Both Bitcoin and ETH are better in their own spheres, Bitcoin can be seen as a currency whereas ETH is a platform for running decentralized apps. Also the overall supply of Bitcoin is limited but the of ETH is not limited ETH, so the market is not getting flooded. Both the coins have potential in the future but according to me if one needs to invest among BTC and ETH, I would probably go with because the price of ETH is increasing at a faster rate as compared to BTC. It might not be closed to BTC in terms of dollar but for the trade purposes it could be more beneficial then BTC.
bitcoin with Etherium and the answer is bitcoin, that's my opinion. Why? because for now there is no coin that is like bitcoin and if it wants to be paired it might make sense when the price of each coin is the same as bitcoin

For my opinion and base on the research, survey and the reality, bitcoin is the largest and the highest valued cryptocurrency and also bitcoin is the most known and famous of all the cryptos,bitcoin helped many people and opened many minds of many people to our economy. Although Ethereum is the second highest valued coin or crypto, still it is not in the level of the bitcoin. The gap of BTC and ETH is very far so bitcoin is the best.
To my opinion ETH is besides bitcoin only coin worth investing and that has good perspective. If you want to diversify your investment this might be the good choice but bitcoin is more applicable in real life so my first choice would always be bitcoin.
Thus far, ethereum has been used mainly by the ico to raise funds, apart from that nothing much is happening. Bitcoin has better adoption rate, especially outside the crypto community, this is why it is my number one.

The technology for both coins is quite good and worth investing in to make a better profit. However, if I had to choose one between the two, I would go with bitcoin since its valuable and can help me in cases I am in need of cash.
Even technically bitcoin is not consider with any altcoin because all other coins has been cloned from bitcoin alone. Vitaliak may copied complete coding from the bitcoin and blockchain influenced persons. If you compare in the value perception in that way also bitcoin is top. Bro, I have suggested this information for the newbies who wish to start mining with the less investment option. In that mining farm with the ASIC mining is the quiet high budget for anyone. If you able to invest on buying 6 gpu with one rig initially. You can take the money back with in 3 months.

If bitcoin incorporate the smart contracts i dont see eth being able to keep alive for a long period at all, eth has reached its current value due to smart contracts and due to the several ICO that are using those feature to make their projects live, but this party will end sooner or later, and the question will be what eth has to offer besides the smart contracts. Bitcoin were the first and the most powerful coin, if we replace the mining, bitcoin had already loose a big space at crypto to altcoins wich keep getting more and more space, eth has potencial to grow and who knows reach very near bitcoin into the future, we are talking about coins with different ages.
Both are good crypto to invest. But, I think investing and trading with bitcoin nicer because of the bitcoin is the biggest #1 in crypto marketcap.

I think Bitcoin and Ethereum have their respective advantages, and I certainly prefer Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurency ..

if you are often involved in crypto, you will not always be fixated on one choice. so I'll tell you OP.
I will use both, because both have different benefits but the same in terms of profit. so if you always choose on one option, believe me you will quickly lose and difficult to rich.
well, both are excellent platforms. but in terms of price, bitcoin is better, however, for platforms, eth is still more commonly used than bitcoins. well, nowadays so many ico programs are using eth as the base platform.
bitcoin have more volatility and give us more profit and ETH are long term investment in which we can wait many years for our profit.
bitcoin and eth is my choice as an investment, and also both coins I use for trading, for me bitcoin and eth is a good coin in the future. and my predictions are both the best for now.
both have a great future, but bitcoin is a pioneer in all crypto. so I always use both the transaction or profit in investment.
