The funny part is that some people think his opinion matters. Why would Jamie know anything about bitcoin? He is an outsider in the new economy we are forging. It is his financial world that is crumbling, not ours.

Even i have no much idea about that Jamie Dimon, I think it will not be the level of the bitcoin, and thats the naked truth, that no any coins can be at the same level of the bitcoin, and Jamie Dimon will not be at the half of what have bitcoin done. So better to know bitcoin and Jamie Dimon.

Seriously... I am not joking when I am saying this, but we should ask Jamie Dimon to smack talk Bitcoin a bit more. Every

time he does, the price goes up. It is as if investors are doing the opposite that he is saying. The investors can smell BS from

a mile away and they know JP Morgan are trading Bitcoin secretly, so they invest...when he talks shit about it.  Tongue

Interesting chart, thanks for sharing it. If I remember correctly, Jamie Dimon said that his daughter had invested in Bitcoin some years ago, and now she seems to have reaped huge profits, so this dude might feel a little bit envious and ashamed of himself, especially if she invested a hefty amount of money and the profits she made are on par with her dad's. If I were Jamie Dimon, I would feel miserable too. That's likely the reason he doesn't care about Bitcoin more and more each time he mentions it.

What if he has a plan ahead that is why he is not saying anything about the All time low of bitcoin, maybe he is up to something and waiting for the right time to strike another no good comment, but in his mind he is enjoying the price of bitcoin right now and his investment had increase.

Because some investors would sure not gonna miss this opportunity in making a large amount of money even jamie dimon had this kind of thinking

Jamie Dimon represents his share holders and what is best for them, hes never going to openly support bitcoin even if he believed in it. It would be akin to the fed saying "yeah bitcoin is better than the USD". Let these dinosaurs die, lets not give them recognition.

The guy is definitely having his game play on this. Whatever these tactics are, investing in bitcoin will have its own share of risks just like investing in anywhere else. It just interests me that he did acknowledge the validity of the blockchain technology but he does not understand the value of digital currencies not backed up by the government. Well, I guess government is likely to adapt various cryptocurrencies someday.
These analysts are accustomed to working on the markets for Fiat. Therefore, they only understand the classical laws of Economics. Cryptocurrencies are not amenable to these laws, therefore, the opinion of these people I'm not interested. They've earned your credibility in Fiat currencies. Let them and comment.

Well, it is just a fraud skit from him.  He is just telling these things for him to buy more bitcoin.  If people who do not knew bitcoin will panic sell then the price would go down and it is his time to buy more bitcoin.  It is just his tactic to have more bitcoins.  No one will believe him again.

Jamie has really been a real creep who wanted to manipulate Bitcoin's price for his own benefit. The only thing he could achieve this through is by making statements and must say he has achieved his goal too because the people have been stupid too. But now his time is over and people have become smart. Whatever he says now won't really matter to the people and he won't be able to manipulate the BTC price either. I guess he knew this fact and that's why he said that he won't be uttering any word related to Bitcoin.

He has stopped commenting on bitcoin because now sanity has been restored and he realised that JP Morgan itself is invested in blockchain. He now need to shutup and think on how can banks benefit from this distributed ledger model.

you see he is from US, the same country with multiple gigantic companies accepting bitcoin (the same bitcoin he calls fraud) as payment.
Microsoft, Dell, Overstock.com, Valve, even PayPal has partnered up with coinbase and bitpay!, and a lot more...
are all these accepting a "fraud" or just one guy is an idiot Cheesy
Those companies aren't really helping bitcoin, those big commercial names would just swallow the concepts and sell it.I'm against those corporates interfering with bitcoins.
Actually, when Bitcoin is decentralized then it is decentralized for everyone from giant centralized corporate to any single person. Even I don't like corporate interference with Bitcoin. But unfortunately many whales we talk about having large share of Bitcoins are from this corporate world only who bought extensively last and this year and have a perfect portfolio and are now coming public with their support to Bitcoin or cryptos. They indeed have a complete plan to manipulate the market when required. But unfortunately there is again a competition among those giant bankers and hence can't solely drive the market as they will be resisted by other bulk holders.

Here he goes again:

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/13/jamie-dimon-says-people-who-buy-bitcoin-are-stupid.html

I think this new comment will achieve us to a new level of bitcoin price again, 6000$ is possible when Jamie Dimon taliking badly against bitcoin. How does it feels like your own daughter is in cryptocurrency investments all of this time. It feels terribly wrong, he might not getting proper sleep for days now.

Let him bark and we will be ignoring him, it looks like that his only believer is himself.

I'm thinking this guy has an alter ego that is buying bitcoin and other crypto currency, he is making that announcement for other to sell their Bitcoin and then his alter ego buys what those dumpers did, so if this is true then he is very rich now, anyway I don't care about this guy and I think we should ignore this guy.

Like the legends say,you need critics in your life to be successful.Bitcoin has kinda proved that! Jamie isn't the only one.

he just makes himself look stupid by saying all these. and it has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin. bitcoin price may have stayed the same or even dropped to $0 and he still would have been looked upon as some idiot.
Accurate.I wonder why he is even taken seriously.Such individual must be history from the science of bitcoins.

Hahaha, this is a very good point!

Jamie Dimon is great for Bitcoin. All press is good press as they say.

It would be great if Dimon had something constructive (as in any single fact or logical reason) for his point of view. It would make him look like he has an ounce of credibility to match his status in the banking world.

He always gives the Critics for bitcoin and when he against the bitcoin then how he is good for bitcoin as you said. I have went with his press release from the year starting. Even steve jobs and bill gates pass the potential of bitcoin and said many times 'bitcoin is uncontrollable and future of the currency' when compare with those legends he is just a pin drop. Lets through him out and China.

Cheesy He just stop from commenting and how he sees the All Time High right now, I really think he is profiting from the price of bitcoin right now, or waiting for the right time on making a FUD again if it reach another level, or he admits that he can not win against bitcoin and pledged to ever stop commenting about bitcoin, and said to the article I recently read It’s almost as if bitcoin’s whales are toying with him.

Mr. Dimon is just playing a game and he would be known in the history of Bitcoin to be one of its well-known critics. And now that Bitcoin is surging ahead into the $6,000 territory and many are projecting it to be within $10,000 at least within next year, some critics stopped commenting on what can happen with Bitcoin. Maybe these people just failed to fully comprehend cryptocurrency as they kept on hampering us analogy with many historical bubbles like the tulip bulb mania centuries ago which if we analyzed deeply is not really as fair comparison.

Now, that the value is rising there is a big possibility that we might be hearing comments about the possibility of Bitcoin popping up and crashing to the ground. Well, the more these people are warning us the more it would rise as shown by the graph above where Dimon got the habit of painting Bitcoin as just another scammy ponzi.

It is really about time that we teach people like Dimon a good lesson as far as Bitcoin is concerned.
