I think he meant the first wallet on play store ?

Yes but he should have phrased correctly and that's why, I made that post.

Hmm.. I think he meant to say that most Android Bitcoin wallet was cloned from "Bitcoin Wallet". As we can see here - https://github.com/schildbach/bitcoin-wallet/blob/master/wallet/README.forks - Hive, Blockchain and some Altcoin wallets was forked form this so called 'original Android wallet'.

Mycellium for security and features, Blockchain.info for quick transacting and small amounts.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mycelium.wallet&hl=en

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=piuk.blockchain.android&hl=en

Can't go wrong either way, just make sure you use 2 Factor Authentication.

I think you stuck something most didnt say.  On your phone you should just be doing small transactions.

You should still use cold/encrypted storage overall.

I suggest trying the Airbitz wallet. It has a lot of features but it is designed to be easy to use.

+1 Airbitz. It's what I use now over Mycelium.

And the first result is good wallet, but i think it's a bit too difficult for non-tech guys

No. It is simple like other wallets. If it is hard, then other wallets will also be hard IMHO.

Search 'Bitcoin wallet' on the Play Store. The first result come up is the original one and I think it is the best.

There is no original wallet. Bitcoin has no center or monopoly rights. Everyone can create anything as long as it isn't illegal in their country.

All wallets can be used but some maybe phishing wallets which can steal your BTC.
I think that it gets checked more strictly by google play currently.

I'm using Samsung too. And of course.. it is powered by Andorid. Been using MyCelium since October last year and have no problem with it.

Mycelium is the best one for me, using it for a long time...

EquaMobi's idea sounds interesting though.

Mycelium is by far and away the best android wallet.
If you have Google play its on there if not im preaty sure its on Fdroid.

What I don't like about Mycelium is that you can't create a new (unused) address in the same HD wallet.
I really like giving unique addresses to everyone I deal with so I'm 100% sure who a payment corresponds to.
If you don't need that feature Mycelium is really great.
