Beside of these if you want a wallet that can operate at the slow internet connection and have the facility of import and export private key for your bitcoin adress then use mysellium which is available at the playstore .
And my second recommendation is to never use another wallet beside of my recommendation .
for keeping good amount of bitcoins, for sure, you must use hardware or paper wallet, its more secure, but for fast and small transactions, i am using online wallets: coinbase, its very easy to use and very user friendly

If we're talking about security, safest and most recommended bitcoin wallet options to keep some bitcoins for secure bitcoin storage were paper or hardware wallet.
Electrum with a hardware wallet (Ledger, Keep-Key or a Trezor) which protects your private keys. I don't use Bitcoin-Core because my computer is limited on space available and I don't feel like downloading the entire Blockchain due to time-factors. Now, if you want be completely safer, create a paper wallet and store in a safe environment such as a bank vault.

Online wallet is no need to download anything
If you want to using the software wallet you need to download it.
In my opinion, use a combination of paper wallet and blockchain wallet. Store your bitcoins safely in a paper wallet which you'll create off-line, and whenever you want to transfer some bitcoins, simply decrypt it through the combination of private & public keys at blockchain, and transfer as much as you want.

In my opinion, I would recommed you coinbase and blockchain since they are both simple and easiest to use. Also, they are secured enough to hold your bitcoin. Though they added some charges for every transaction, it's still worth it to use since they are both convinient and friendly.

Blockchain.info seems so waste to use nowadays due to increment for fees for every transactions. Then most wallet cannot encrypt easily by hackers as they secure search link and closed server security. Therefore we have complete control on our bitcoins in the wallet. If you have blockchain wallet you may see some pennies still in the wallet and unable to transfer it. This is why nowadays most of the people switching to coinbase or else desktop wallets.

How did you reach in this conclusion? I really don't care, like many others, if is hong kong or everywhere in the earth this company. Every web wallet is no safe like desktop or hardware ones. Would be better read some things from the forum [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why? or somewhere else as far as it concerns privacy and security of web wallets if you really care about the security of your bitcoins.

as always , I'd recommend you blockchain.info one. If you're not using large amounts of bitcoin and want to transfer it quickly, then I'm suggesting you that one. I've been using it since I've started getting into bitcoin and never had any problem whatsoever. But if you're trading with larger amounts, then I'd suggest you some desktop wallet over the online one but I'm not a fan of desktop wallets because of the syncing and whatnot, so it's kind of more easier to use the fast online one and it's secured as much as you're secured and careful how you're handling it. This question is about wallet, not about online wallet. Coinbase have good security and is very easy to use, but this still is online wallet - so in practice BTC that you keep there is not in your hands. If you want to be safe, you must use desktop wallets.
For new users i recommend Electrum or MultiBit Classic. (Electrum have also version for Android)

It's allowed sure but no it's not smart to keep everything in one place, after so many scams and hacks over the years, diversification is the key, and my rules are simple.
1. Never keep more bitcoins on any website than you are happy to shrug off if lost, so blockchain.info or exchanges, maybe BTC0.1
2. Keep a slightly larger amount in a secure local wallet, Electrum, Core, Mycellium etc, maybe BTC0.1 - BTC1
3. The rest or bulk in some form of cold storage, be it paper or hardware or both, maybe BTC1+
You can adjust the figures to what you feel comfortable with.

No. Spread it onto multiple devices. Optimally you'd hold the wallet with the most amount of money on an offline machine.

Electrum for desktop wallet and Electrum for phone wallet if you have an Android, not yet released for iOS. Electrum is a desktop wallet and is more secure then online web wallets. Same applies for it when you have it in your phone, it's perfect for mobility without you missing out a single deal.

If you're looking for something easy, I recommend the Blockchain wallet, but no online wallet is ideal and anyone could steal your Bitcoin if there's a security compromise in their system.
Otherwise, you could try a hardware wallet like Trezor, or a more secure than online wallet like Electrum which is sort of a mixed wallet.

Electrum (for Windows desktop) or Mycellium (for Android) may be a good choice, since from what i've read they are offline wallet (correct me if i'm wrong). However, there is a synchronization process that takes place when updating your BTC in your wallet and when having a transaction, so does Electrum or Mycellium be considered safe (I'm planning on using Electrum)? At present, there two types of bitcoin wallet options you can choose. 1. Online & 2. Offline
If we're talking about security, safest and most recommended bitcoin wallet options to keep some bitcoins for secure bitcoin storage were paper or hardware wallet. This will much more recommended than any other online wallet.
For you the best option is blockchain.info, you will have the control of your coins but remember activate all the security measures to stay safe. If you are very paranoid with security you will can buy a hardware wallet later and transfer your bitcoins there.
Yes blockchain is much safer when compared to other wallets but you need to make sure you remember your credentials or else you will lose access to your bitcoins and also it depends on the amount of bitcoin you have to store if it is huge then the best way is going for hardware wallet rather that digital wallet if you want to be on safer end. But in general blockchain is very safe and i use coinbase because of it's user friendly feature without compromising on the level of security.

Core is a good option, altough most of the desktop or hardware wallet you can find on this page: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet Would be OK
