I am using Bitcoin core for my wallet in my windows desktop.  But it is getting very huge.  Anyone can recommend an easy to use and safe bitcoin wallet for Windows?
I recommend Hodler wallet, its one of a kind Crypto wallet since it is the only ooen source multiwallet avaible. First thing first, to consider in choosing a wallet is that, will this kind of wallet give you tge full control of your funds. Most people choose to store in a closed source wallet which may cause their fund to be lost in sudden. Any open source wallet will do like electrum or armony, but I prefer HODLER since it can hold multiple kind of coin.
Great that you mentioned Hodler wallet. I have installed Windows and mobile wallet , looks fine to me . I hope this application will add more statement about security and safety of our fund.  Maybe they can add  ARB to the wallet. I have installed this application in my main laptop, so far everything is fine and alright.

To sync the blocks itself bitcoin core wallet will take the huge time on desktop client so of you I want to use the electrum wallet as main blocks will be synced in some time usage and security both this is really good one.

Even electrum have the Mobile application and some wallets like greenaddress, xapo and Exodus have the client wallet on Android too.

Bitcoin core wallets have a large size and you have to have a large amount of space on your desktop, I've also tried them and my desktop capacity is not enough to install bitcoin core, so I use electrum. The electrum wallet is very light, even I can install it on my tablet. So I would only recommend the electrum wallet, besides the lightweight security and features are also very good and safe as many crypto users have recommended.

Electrum is best option for the people who can't run Bitcoin core wallet in their windows since it needs huge space and much faster specs to sync quickly.I have been using electrum to store my bitcoin in long term and also I have Ledger Nano S for holding other coins in long term so you can choose either one of these for storing your bitcoin.

For me, i use blockchain wallet and Electrum is also a good choice it  lets you quickly and easily create a wallet on your computer to generate bitcoin addresses and receive and send bitcoin.
Not bad choice but i suggest don't store a lot bitcoin on blockchain wallet for long time. Just in case if something happen in the future.
I agree, it's still not safe to put your funds there. Electrum is fine because you have the seeds.
But don't fully trust blockchain.com in any case that something unexpected comes to them.
If you also use electrum, keep your seeds safely.

I am using coins.ph app as my bitcoin wallet.  It is easy and efficient to use.  it is very reliable and i feel secure with.  I think it is a good thing that they support bitcoin and crypto currency

You guys need to stop suggesting coins.ph. It's an exchange wallet you don't have access to the private keys which is not a good wallet to use for holding/storing bitcoins in the long run.

Yes, you are right. I'm using this Coins.ph wallet when I need to convert my bitcoin into fiat and cash it out because it is the most convenient wallet here in our country to exchange your bitcoin into fiat. But, when storing my bitcoin I never used this because I did not trust this wallet for holding my bitcoin for a long tun. I personally don't use web wallet for holding btc in long-term, I have my own hardware wallet. Well, lower risk web wallet I guess Electrum.

Advise which bitcoin wallet is the best on your smartphone?
Mycelium, their features is almost(or probably) same as electrum.

You can also buy a cheap smartphone or a Raspberry Pi and use it as your hardware wallet
Agree, i use smartphone as my hardware wallet. As long as you didn't download or open any suspicious thing on your phone, then this one its a good choice.
The coinomi wallet is also a good choice for a mobile wallet never had any issue yet that is why I recommend this wallet the good thing here you can also save other cryptocurrencies.

If you use a smartphone make sure to don't use a clone smartphone because most of the clone phones are rooted so it can easily get hack but if you are using an orig phone like Samsung you are safe just don't root your phone.

Coinomi and coinpayments get reported by many people on this forum says it got hacked and they lost money in that wallet. Please have the good choice if you want to use the wallet in Android or Iphone. If you want to use the web wallet or desktop wallet just look around you are using private key secured wallets. Wallet which is working without private key such as web wallets and exchange wallets only getting hacked mostly. Avoid using the google search while accessing your wallet for your own security. My suggestions are Bitcoincore, Multibit, electrum and blockchain wallets.

Why do you recommend hardware wallet that you have to pay thousand dollars to secure your money?
It's all about cold storage When you manage a $x,xxx or $xx,xxx funds and more buying a $100 wallet is negligible especially considering the level of security you get. You can also buy a cheap smartphone or a Raspberry Pi and use it as your hardware wallet

You don't have to download the bitcoin core to store your bitcoin, you can use an online wallet or a hardware wallet.
Why do you recommend hardware wallet that you have to pay thousand dollars to secure your money? And also desktop wallet isn't only Bitcoin core, there are alternatives like Exodus or Electrum which are light wallet that you don't need to download whole blockchain in order to make it working.

I don't advice to use a windows wallet because windows can easially be hacked.
If you know how to maintenance your device and make it secure, it has less risk for being hacked. I bet you have been hacked and you said like that because you are afraid.

You can use electrum if you don't want to run the whole network and eat your storage.

https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/desktop/windows/
https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/hardware/

Greenaddress or electrum will suit your need.

I have been using the wallets on blockchain.info for a few years now and it has worked perfectly.  I usually go from cold storage to the online wallet and it's never been an issue for me.  I have had no security issues either with the site.  With a wallet on my PC I need to then worry about security and I would rather leave that up to the blockchain team.
I also often use the blockchain.info purse is where my Bitcoin hold but in the late 2017, I feel very angry when blockchain.info increased bitcoin trading fees up a lot. Sometimes I had to take $ 25 just to transfer 0.14 BTC to my friend

Electrum sounds best to me.
It has both desktop and mobile versions, but be careful when downloading a mobile version as I hear they have some scam apps on Google Play Store that might be stealing your crypto from you. So, I recommend using a link on their website.

What do you guys think about Armory? I heard that it is one of the most secure but haven't actually tried it out myself. There are many options available on the market so it's hard to pick one. Logic says the most secure is the best.
It's complicated to use for first time users when comparing it to Electrum. Armory forces you to have a long password making it one secure wallet. Even though it's a secure wallet if you check the pros and cons on bitcoin.org it says that the wallet is vulnerable to malwares.

I don't have yet any idea in different kinds of wallets but here in the Philippines we are using coins.ph for bitcoin wallet because it is very easy to use.

As said above electrum is the best choice.
You can find more options here : https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
Make sure you learn to verify the GPG signature, this will ensure that it isn't a hacked site and is the correct electrum software. Also I would invest into a hardware wallet for any suitable amount of Bitcoin.

In terms of storage, you wouldn't want to keep it on your desktop because it could get hacked into quite easily. There are plenty of scripts nowadays the even use your CPU to mine, let alone get into your wallet. You should keep it cold. Disconnect it from the internet.

You could also use EXODUS > https://www.exodus.io/

I have been using it for 18 months without issue. there are regular updates,
with support for new currencies ongoing.

With Exodus you can control your private keys.

Here are some threads pertaining to Exodus here on BCT >

I can vouch for Electrum also, I use it on the PC and my Smartphone.
Here is the Electrum board of the forum > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0
