Yo sufri la caida del bitcoin cuando estaba en 20k, lo compre por recomendación de un amigo al que estimo mucho que me aseguro que esta criptomoneda subiria a 50k, despues cayo terriblemente, desde ahí tengo una experiencia amarga acerca del bitcoin. Felizmente ahora este año 2019 cuando subio a 10k pude retirar mi dinero.
Actualmente solo hago forex, tal vez algunos de se estén preguntando y Que es forex y como funciona? pues basicamente es como el bitcoin, compra barato y vende caro. Lo bueno que en forex no es tan arriesgado invertir como en las criptomonedas.
Espero a alguien le haya servido de utilidad mi experencia.

BTW, according to what I read, some whales tried to create FUD (Binance office raid, China ban more crypto exchange..etc..) to accumulate more BTC. Besides, some China ponzi organizations sold on Huobi and Okex leading to this severe dump.
Western traders? Check out the timing of all these dumps. Past few weeks is all at the late morning and noon time of China;) Unless Americans and Europeans all like to stay up late, I don't think we can "blame" any particular geography here.

It just means there will be another target, either huge dump that may shake the cryptosphere or a huge pump. Either way the current price as of today is $6,500. And i remembered the last year's price at $3,000 with the same month.
Somehow, I think we don't have to be worried, this is just a preparation for the major pump that will gonna happen next year, remember that halving event will occur next year.

You must be new here.Bitcoin price and why its move this or that way interest you at your first bubble and some after. Then you just don't care, you are with bitcoin for good or bad. Sometimes you quit loosing all, sometimes you hodl and sell on next bubble.

Bitcoin is being volatile as we all know. There is a pump and dumps so that's not a crazy thing. This week it has decreased so much. Cannot predict what will happen in bitcoin. Hope in future there will be an intense increase.
I don't know if we call it a pump and dump, for maximalist argument, bitcoin doesn't work like that and those terms are just reserved for Altcoins. Anyways, as the dust has settled in the last two days, we have seen that this crazy movement was due to the fake news that Binance office was shutdown by the police in Shanghai. And that China friendliness to bitcoin is just fake as it gets.

I wasn't into bitcoin in the early days, but by looking at the chart I can see that those were probably the most insane times imaginable, right up until Mt. Gox crashed. And I do vividly remember 2017 and how wild the market was then. It was going up, so everyone was euphoric but it can also go the other way too, and just as fast.
I agree, it's full of swings and roundabouts and that kind of turbulence should be expected to continue. I've no doubt that Bitcoin is the most solid investment to be made still (Ethereum not too far behind) but its not for everybody... ive seen a few guys already lose their shit with every dip.

This is normal since the introduction of leverage trading. When you could only sell in anticipation of the dump the market was more stable but now every move can trigger an avalanche of bot sales and liquidated shorts. That fast move up and down looked like a short squeeze attempt.
Somebody wanted to liquidate people so he bought a lot of coins to pump the price but it didn't go very far and he saw that and sold everything he bought minutes earlier.

You sound like you might have more invested in it than you can afford to lose if these price swings are driving you crazy. Maybe you should reevaluate how much bitcoin you own so you can keep your sanity, because this past week hasn't been any more crazy than a lot of other times in its history. I differ from this comparison. BTC is too much volatile and year to year comparison is not justified. On 18 Dec 2017, price of BTC was 19000 USD while on 18 Dec 2018 it was 3780 USD.
Now that's what bitcoin is known for. If we check the history of bitcoin, we can notice that whenever bitcoin stays idle for a long time it suddenly pumps or dumps out of nowhere.

It's already November 16 now and there is no major movement in Bitcoin's price, I admire your bullish perspective but it looks like your source is not reliable. Anyways, I strongly believe that the sudden dump of Bitcoin recently is an attempt of whales to acquire more Bitcoin in cheaper price in preparation of the next bull market.
