Seriously? 8000$ is so low to even ask at the moment 13000$ is even the end dip and recovering. So I’m into 20000$ and that an easy choice. That is the farthest at this point and even have the possibility to happen before year end. That is an optimistic opinion and likely to happen in 50/50 chances.

I think it's time for a DUMP as the PUMP had recently occurred with the value of bitcoin reaching till $19k,unfortunately it couldn't touch the milestone of $20k.
So, lately the price of bitcoin has been wandering about $13k-$14k.The chances of bitcoin falling around $8k has more chances than the value rising to $20k as of now.

But the greatest prediction I've heard came from John McAfee, he first predicted that bitcoin will reach $5,000 at the end of 2017, and his prediction for 2020, bitcoin will be $500,000. Now he made a new prediction, bitcoin will reach $1,000,000 at the end of 2020, and he's going to eat his own di*k on national television if it didn't happen.

Then I guess McAfee will be in a lot of trouble by 2020. By 2020, there will be close to 17.5 million Bitcoins circulating in the market and if the price of one Bitcoin rises to $1,000,000, then the market cap will be somewhere close to $17.5 trillion. This amount is almost 3 times higher than the market cap of gold and close to 6% of the total global wealth.

Which do you think is more likely to happen?

Actually, I am not to worry about this and if the bitcoin price drops until $8000, I can make sure to buy more bitcoin and hold it for a long time because I believe that the price will reach higher price in the future. I think every people that getting involved in cryptocurrency will understand with this and they will use their chance to buy bitcoin again while the price is down like today. but if I take a look in the chart and my own chart, there is a good moment for bitcoin to increase although it is not too high, it is worth for us to sell our bitcoin and make a profit.

I got two predictions on bitcoin for the coming years.

The first one; if the problem of bitcoin about slow transaction and high fees will not yet resolved in the near future, which is 2018 for me,it might go back to $8,000 or even lower. The second is; it may surpass $20,000, because of investors, especially the whale investors, are now going into bitcoin trading. More and more investors are now recognizing bitcoin as a potential profit.

I can see bitcoin going to $20K, but I do not see it going back down to $8k unless something drastic happens. For now I would bet on Bitcoin reaching $20K sometime next year (2018) for sure!

This is the problem. All the Bitcoin holders are dreaming about prices of 20K, 40K, or even 100K in the near future. But what will happen if the prices dip to 5K and stay there for a while? If BTC can go to 40K, then it can hit 5K as well. This is what the past price changes indicate. If you can hold on to your coins for 5-6 years, then it is OK. But if you can't then you will incur a loss.

After reaching the bitkoynom course of 20 000 dollars, he fell in value in some days by about 40 percent and was in the region from 11000 -13000 dollars. After that, it rises slightly and falls in price, stopping now at around $ 14,000. This indicates that it has already been corrected in price and in that case, the price will not fall any more. In the near future, most likely, he will again begin to grow in price, so it is most likely that he will soon again reach his previous rate of $ 20,000.

There's a chance for Bitcoin to rise towards like $20,000 if the trend continues over the next year. We need to look at the annual returns instead of the monthly...
WE WILL CRUSH IT IN 2018!!

Which do you think is more likely to happen?
Despite negative reports in the falling price of bitcoin by some media just to set in fears and panicks to new investors to dump bitcoin I don' t think the price can go below $8K there are  staunch investors who will never sell or dump or will continue to hodl against any backdrop whether the price is dropping or not I belief the price will pick up after the Christmas period.

Which do you think is more likely to happen?
Difficult question, we've already been there, but to reach such levels again, we need a lot of institutional money and major investors coming in. Not sure if that's coming by the next few weeks, as many expect, but by technical analysis of the chart, it seems there is potential to break previous highs.

bitcoin reaching $ 20k is currently very reasonable, but in the next few years bitcoin can reach $ 30k it is not impossible given the bitcoin supply is very limited in cryptocurrency.

I'd go wit 20k. If history is any indication it usually crashes then soars back up. Crashes again but not all the way down. Then soars higher than it was before, breaking records.

Let me join to this prediction pool.
My guess is that BTC will jump up and down from 11k to 16k during next few weeks and then start new stable growing in the second week of Jan.
