I don't think so. day by day Bitcoin is getting accepted around the world and it's becoming the potential currency for the future market. Not only that but also Bitcoin has brought us a newly invented system for payment purpose. So that we can be hopeful for the future monetary market.

If you look around your surrounding then you may find a new change in the payment method. this is just a blockchain system as well as Bitcoin. so in the future, Bitcoin will be more than today we see...

I have been interested in cryptocurrency for a year already and watching the next picture. The percentage of bitcoin dominance is decreasing in percent (about 35%). A month ago, there were 50 - 55%. What do you think about this? It seems to me that altcoins are more attractive for investment and more technological, so they are increasingly investing in altcoins.
Bitcoin will be the main Altcoin until the crypto market collapses. Bitcoin has a lot of potentials and I have a lot of confidence in it though its price has dropped a lot since the beginning of the year. Do not try to think negatively about it as it goes down.

Do not be surprised because the banks already even think about adding bitcoin to their base and want to buy even stock exchanges. Therefore, it already means something.

Bitcoin will be the dominant coin always but the dominance level decreased due to the lots.of new currencies releasing every day.But still we can see that the price of every cryotocurrency is moving according with the bitcoin so still we rely on the bitcoin mostly.

I think Bitcoin can soon be the main currency. But this year may not be in touch. That's why Bitcoin will have to raise $ 100k. The countries that banned the use of Bitcoin will have to lift this ban. Bitcoin's name will be spread in the social media. People need to be alert about Bitcoin.

High fees = low BTC price
The earlier LN is implemented, the quicker btc will regain its absolute dominance.
To be honest, with high transaction fee btc now is not ideal for real world payment adoption.

Have you investigated any user case and how LN might work by any chance in about nine months time
because Segwit was designed to reduce fees and released about five months ago and all that happened is fees
kept going up.

Just in case you have fallen for the sales spin from a development team that knew Bitcoin would not scale eight years ago
do you think you owe it to yourself to look at the other side of the coin because I bring you bad news if your
not a miner in which case your about to get into banking.

Yes it would only exist as a secondary currency co existing with the prevailing paper currencies and never to become a main currency as it has drawbacks like not able to use without internet and limited supply.

Bitcoin dominance is decreasing because people are holding because of high fees, also new coins offer better services that attract users.

I don't think the dominance reflect the real value of Bitcoin, besides, the market cap of Bitcoin is still two times bigger than the second most important coin which is Ethereum.

Bitcoin users have been increasing drastically over the last years. This is becuasethey are attracted to the price and the ability of Bitcoin. However, recently, many have been dissapounted because of the droppping of Bitcoins price. Also, many coins have been existing in the crypto market now. As the future holds, bitcoin will be like ordinary currency in which many coins will exist and will be availble for encashment.

It could be local trend. In spring, 2017 we also could see BTC dominance up to 35-40%. After that BTC dominance increased till 60+%.

Bitcoin gets slower during december last year because of some problem like the higher transaction fees and thats the reason why altoins pump. Also i think that its just a correction because bitcoin spikes high unexpectedly, we can’t really say that in the future bitcoin can survive and remain on top but I believe on this great technology the only matters right now is that cryptocurrency are showing some power to lead us in the future.

I do not think that bitcoin will be when not the main currency, it is the most reliable of the Crypto-currency. especially many new Altkoins, do not bring anything new, but are needed only for quick earning money.

But it doesn't mean a thing, well the way I see it. Maybe other investors are just looking for other ways like going to altcoins. But when bitcoin rally, everyone joins the train again. It is what it is. Everyone jumps where the money is. Do you think investors are shifting to altcoin because they have good technological advancement? I doubt. Sad to say but the truth is, everyone here is really for the money. Sad but true. Sad

Yeah everyone here is only joining signature campaign for the money involve, But earning cryptocurrency is impeccable we have all the right to do what we want, we are not responsible to join and earn bitcoin it is our own decision.

As for the response in the the title there's a 50% chance bitcoin will die if majority of the population is using it, that is why there's a lot of ICO having a peer to peer payments and exchange.

Bitcoin dominance is falling and it will fall more. But I think Bitcoin will be remain the main currency. Bitcoin dominance is falling because there are many new blockchain projects. In other word, that's the high number of cryptocurrencies that is causing Bitcoin dominance to fall. The reason is not bitcoin value fall.

I think the ethereum has every chance to replace Bitcoin in the future. Smart contracts are written on it, make ICOs and resolve the issue of scaling. In general from all points of view it has more potential as a valuable asset.

With more alt coins come into play, bitcoin's market share is gradually reducing. Bitcoin got hit due to its high fee and low transaction speed. It is still the leader now and hope it will server as store of value and keep top positions (if no 1). LN shall help reduce the fee and increase transaction speed.
