It is said now China is a "cashless society". Use of debit cards and credit cards on online & offline stores/shops, pay bills etc..

USA and UK/England are into use of credit cards and debit cards in a big way for online & offline stores/shops, pay bills etc..

Will Bitcoin survive in "cashless society" where money becomes digital/numbers ??

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries"
I have a different point of view in this case, in my opinion bitcoin and cash are still running together, it's just that it doesn't look like before, so it happened in China.

until that day will happen, but it will take a long time maybe a few decades. and the facts up to now we still need fiat money for everything in real transactions.

Of course bitcoin will survive the cashless society. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, and cryptocurrency is a digital money. Therefore there is a huge possibility that a cryptocurrency like bitcoin will survive a cashless society for a long time. You do not think it will?

Cashless society means the use of cryptocurrencies or digital money instead of using fiat currency.  There are actually pros and cons about cryptocurrencies in the cashless society scheme and there will be difficulties during the transition period between those who loves to use fiat currency who, somehow, are force to use cryptocurrency as the medium of buying goods.

in my opinion, yes bitcoin will sirvive cashless society, by using the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin to connect to the idea of a cashless society in modern times. Each disadvantage is given a solution which would allow for bitcoin to advance society towards a cashless future.

This is very likely, but it also depends on the attitude of countries to cryptocurrencies. In early May of this year, Bank of Korea (BOK) announced plans to use cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to create a cashless society. Bithumb, Korea's largest crypto exchange, is pushing for digital currency in the country. But there are also countries that ban cryptocurrency transactions, such as India.

I think you are questioning it the wrong way. It should be "Will credit/debit cards survive in the cashless world with bitcoin's prescence?" Because we all know that we just need an online wallet and a smartphone to transact and we always have our phones more than our ATM cards.

Exactly. As a digital currency, it's an obvious outcome that society will go cashless. No need for cards or cash. Sound so convenient, right?

Bitcoin is the key towards the cashless society and that is why i believed to bitcoin and i know that in the future it will survive the crisis and a lot of problems during his rise and he will lead the countries or the world towards a revolution of currency where they will be implementing cashless societies to different countries.

Bitcoin as a digital currency is already in its cashless form. The operations of cryptocurrencies are similar to that of PAY-PAL and credit cards. When the need arises, bitcoin can also be converted into fiat. NO MATTER THE SITUATION, bitcoin will survive!

That is the end goal i guess, for bitcoin to be the most used digital cash out there.

The era of cashless society as of the moment relies on plastics (as many like to call it), cards that you bring along with you provided by banks and governed by central authority. But bitcoin offers a different take, a purely digital means of payment, it is there where bitcoin will thrive against current convention.

Right now,for banks to issue you a credit card, one must have a good standing balance and of course a good banking track record too. Here it self, takes away the opportunity for many to avail such services. But bitcoin does not. It gives freedom to all, no categories. Rich and poor alike can utilize the system. And this is what we needed should we really want to witness a truly cashless society.

We need a permission-less platform for a cashless society to be realized, where no one is prevented the usage of platform and luckily, this is one of the innate attribute of bitcoin.

You know why governments and banks are pushing for cashless society? It's not because they want to make everything more convenient or fast, they simply want to control the finance of every citizen. So, Bitcoin shouldn't be viewed as the opposite of cash, because it's digital instead of physical, in cashless society Bitcoin is electronic cash - it can't be frozen, seized and with some tools you can even hide your tracks. Just like cash is often used today for transactions that circumvent regulators and taxman, Bitcoin will be used in cashless society when physical cash will be gone.
