Until now no country has officially made bitcoin as a currency, but I think bitcoin can be used as an international currency because it proves better than fiat money.
What commodities you can buy in a certain country depends on the laws and regulations of that country and I am pretty sure that we will never reach the situation that all countries in this world will have the same laws.
The economy of a country is based on the laws, tax and investment programs and not by a virtual currency.
Also, if more people use Bitcoin and avoid tax payment, then the economy of that country will decrease because the government will have less money to spend.

It's possible that we can use bitcoin to buy all commodities from all the countries but don't include those countries that will implement ban to bitcoin. We can't do something about those countries that will ban it but the adoption of bitcoin is keep on growing everyday many countries are starting to adopt bitcoin so this scenario of seeing bitcoin being used to buy all things is there and it's visible at the moment.
Yes it is really possible that we could see bitcoin as world's currency. That we could buy things that we wanted though there are some countries to ban bitcoin still it wont affect the possibilities that it will happen. I think it will happen in the future because there are lot of things to consider to make it finalized. We will see it and witness it one day and I'm very sure that bitcoin is going to be big on that day. And there will be no doubts with it, the cryptocurrency will be well known by that time and everyone is going to recognize bitcoin as a real digital money and best investment of all time. Once it already happens we can just simply travel all around the world with the use of bitcoin for our expenses.
I don't think that it would be that easy, although I am in favor of using bitcoin as the world currency. I just think that there will just be to much problem that will rise, not only in the world government but with the cryotoworld aswell. Yes it is possible in the near future when the bitcoin get established worldwide and the people adopt the world of crypto currency it might happen that bitcoin would be used as our means of payment transaction worldwide let us wait for the right time because we will get there.
For now it is not possible the percentage of knowledgeable in cryptocurrency is lower than 10% so what will you do to the rest? like the farmers old people and more people don't know about this new technology.. but if the governments are establishing learning center for all kids who taking their study right now maybe in the next 20 years this bitcoin will be implemented as a global currency..
I think btc will still be strong, but never will be world coin.. this market will be very competitive, we already can see this.

it is very possible for bitcoin to apply in all countries, because right now it's been a lot of big and advanced countries that accept bitcoin as a legitimate payment tool, if this is already accepted in all countries surely everything you ask will be missed, bitcoin one prices around the world
for now you can not purchase all commodities because not all of business or companies accept bitcoin payment if you want an camponies accepting bitcoin payment, you need a searching for that.
I think bitcoin will eventually be accepted by merchants around the globe. It would affect the economy greatly in a positive way because people do not have to pay huge amount in transacting with Bitcoin. Aside from that the payment transaction will be faster so it will save lots of billions of dollar being wasted waiting.
It will happen and I believe that it's possible to happen. You can use bitcoins to buy anything from any marketplace or site supporting BTC as payment method. But Bitcoin still not yet supported or legalized everywhere around the world, so sometimes you just need to convert it to fiat

Your idea of having a currency which allows anybody arround the world to buy and sell using bitcoin is good. I think its happening already, we can see it where different people are offering diferrent service and goods. Seeing how bitcoin works now, I think bitcoin is pretty good functioning along side with other currencies. I think we can already call bitcoin as "world currency" . But we are still on the process on making bitcoin available to all kinds of commodities, we cant rush it to happen. It is now under the development, then I think the countries part is to take their action how to apply tax with their people using bitcoin. Regulation is the part of the government to make the economy better alongside with bitcoin.
It seems to me that you are in a hurry. Bitcoin still not be called a currency. He has all the characteristics of currency. Indeed there are some places where you can pay with bitcoin but they are too few. Everything is still in order to make a purchase need to exchange bitcoins for Fiat.For now bitcoin is still a form of a digital product and not a currency yet, and some of us here really are rushing out for this. Keep calm and don't let it to come immediately, because it will really take more time becoming world's currency.
