thriftshopping bought the account GotaPauj on November 02, 2015 and therefore while smith coins, prodigy8, lorylore, jt byte and Prasmatic were alt accounts of GotaPauj they're no longer alts when the scam happened (or at least there's no proofs of that).

Looks like there is a bit of downvote manipulation going on over at /r/Bitcoin too in order to hide the posts calling it out as a scam (check the new/controversial tabs). Very shady stuff.

Great catch NLNico. It's a shame that so many people have probably been hit by this, this was a really clever and elaborate scam. I actually remember calling the idea of a clone site shitty when they announced it on Reddit, looks like it was shitty in more than one way. Wink
